24 M, is marriage worth it?Yes if you want kids (which are pretty awesome) | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 11:25 AM
Am I traumatizedThe “time per x years” always makes me chuckle. I’m 46 and was married 26 years, so I wait until I’m 60? | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/03/25 06:48 PM
How to let her go and move onI’ll just mention that when kids are involved, you’re not just grieving your marriage, you’re also grieving the family unit you had together. That has proven just as hard for me. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/03/25 08:57 PM
Anyone else just lost hope feel brokenI feel you, my wife left me after I was diagnosed with bipolar and lost my 6-figure job. Sickness and health eh? Mine is fresher but I’m just trying to move past her. She wasn’t who I thought but I had some good times with her. I’m on disability so my life is limited but I have my cat and nobody tells me what to do | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/03/25 06:43 PM
| -8 | Very very few women actually lift a man up and make them better peopleIs this a joke? My sisters have dated plenty of anchors for awhile before escaping | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/03/25 04:39 PM |
Does a woman that helps a man even exist?I don’t even think it’s about men vs women to me. It’s that someone else got a vote on my dinner, how I groom myself, how I dress, what car I drive, etc for 26 years. I think I might be done living my life with a second opinion hanging around (often criticizing or second guessing) all the time | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/03/25 12:24 PM
Need help with alcoholism.I found Allen Carr’s Quit Drinking Without Willpower a helpful start but if you have access to further counseling I suggest doing everything you can. AA is great if you are religious but the program is tough if you are an atheist (like me). Best of luck man. I slept in the basement for the last ten years of our marriage and I know how tough it is to live like that. I would sometimes have to get up and leave the room if even mildly romantic things would happen in a tv show | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/03/25 10:51 PM
