That's what's funny to me, how offended people seem when you express that you want to maintain your virginity. Like, why get so upset over what someone else is doing (or not doing) with their body? How does it affect you that you get so pissed off about it?

Forget her. She’s done her job. She’s brought to light all these things you’re still carrying. Focus on that. Your whole comment is golden but this line really hit me. I needed to hear this. Thank you!

I think you hit the nail on the head: He seems to want a cook, maid, egg donor, surrogate, nanny, and concubine when he wants it and work allows. He wants an assistant, to put it simply. Marriages don't work like that. You're supposed to be partners. And as much as he begs you not to break up with him, it sounds like that's what he's trying for - telling you your lazy for sleeping 8 hours a day? Come on.

My issue is that I know I need to pull back and have him chase me again; I'm too available and that is in part of my anxiety around relationships Why do you think you need to pull back? Do you feel like there is an imbalance in effort between the two of you? If so, that's something you need to discuss with him rather than pulling back with no explanation. The "don't be too available" mentality is more applicable in the early stages of dating. It's meant to ensure you each continue maintaining yo…

Not to discount your experience, but I've never known a guy who would take time out of his schedule, plan and pay for dates, and emotionally open up to a girl for 3-4 months just to have sex.

I see some guys have hidden their age or location, which means they have Tinder Plus... I see nothing wrong with paying for the bonuses, but I'd be wary of anyone hiding his age/location. I'm terribly picky with my right swipes... Good! It can get overwhelming when you have too many conversations going. And it's good that you have standards. You can send a message first, but if the guy doesn't help carry the conversation I would drop it (either ignore or unmatch, whichever you prefer). A huge nu…

I'm a lot like your friend and have a similar dating history to her. The thing I realized is, there's only so much you can vet for in the first few dates. Anyone can say and do all the right things in the beginning, but it takes time to see if their words match their actions (and if those action are their true behavior, not temporarily faked). The best advice I have is that you encourage her to take things slowly - no matter how strong these men come on, don't get invested until they have proven…

I love everything about this - how you prepared for the event, acted towards the people there, treated your husband. You are what I hope to be as a wife someday!

Also cross stitch! I taught myself how about 5 years ago. It's not too difficult or expensive to pick up. There's not a lot of opportunity to meet people unless you join a group, but it's a great long-term, relaxing hobby - especially if you're working on larger projects!

I like to think of it in terms of "abundance mentality" (not exactly how TRP uses the term though). If you're chatting with a guy, then another girl shows up and he likes her more...so what? There's literally TONS of other men out there! Even if nothing came of it, you had a nice conversation and got some experience with talking/flirting! You can't control other people's behavior. That other girl is free to talk to a guy, and that guy is free to choose her over you. Part of RPW is to make yourse…
