Women want men that other women want.

Yeah, I'd say so. You're on the right track by not asking her whether she would maybe like to go on a date with you if it's not too inconvenient. Definitely stick to things like, "Bar X does the best caprioska in New York, and guess where you're going to be on Friday night! I'll pick you up at 8:00." Statements, but not commands, get you dates. And by the sound of it, your game will get you the rest.

I like that "I'm gunna text you naughty things," and then text her "Naughty things." I might steal that off you bro. I think you probably just came on a little strong. Maybe a few teasing/flirty texts to let her get used to you before you sent the You-Me-At-Six text. There's a fine line between being confident in texts and being forceful. Sounds like you've got game though! Just maybe tone it down from 11 on the first couple of texts. Edit: I just realised you already had a reply that says prett…

It's more difficult to explain in writing. As long as people understand the 'democracy' part, describing it in person is easier than pissing in the shower.

There's a simple one that me and my mates play called Bacardi Boy (don't ask me why its called that, it just is). Its basically a word association game, so if I say, "dog," the next person says, "fur," and the next person says, "hair," etc. So if I said, "dog," and you said, "rainbow," everyone would yell "Bacardi Boy!" and you'd have to drink. It sounds simple, right? But there is one very entertaining alteration to word association: it's a democracy. So even if I said, "dog," and you said, "fu…

This is good advice. I think its more likely that people won't specifically ask you what happened though, so instead, when the opportunity arises, you should try to make light of it. Like if someone spills a drink, or bumps your head, hold your face and say, "What have you done to me?!" or something.

Clearly not. He's only 22 and has shagged 56 birds.

I agree with the first half of your comment, but not with the second half. The 'guess my job' line usually works pretty well, and can lead to some quality banter, if you think well on your feet. But usually, when a girl asks me what I do for a living (after the shit-test alarms have stopped ringing), I say something absolutely ridiculous, quick smile, and move the conversation forward. Recently I've been saying that I'm either a lion-tamer or that I clone humans. I'm not embarrassed about my job…

My Aunt and Uncle met while disco dancing. Sounds like they met in a club. Maybe your Uncle was a PUA, hm?

This isn't a point, it's a caveat. But I'm giving you an upvote because you're correct.

Sleeping with neighbors does has significant perks. If your intuition is wrong and it doesn't threaten to become a relationship, it could turn out to be the most convenient booty-call of all time. I think you played your cards well, you focussed on her to the point where you respected her enough that you didn't take advantage. And of course she'll be thinking about you regularly, you're that guy who helped her during the important liminal period of moving house. So let her mind do the rest of th…
