I ended up with 12 stitches and a really bad concussion. I could have ended up in a coma. Head injuries are really serious and was lucky. It was an aluminum softball bat and I always wondered if a wooden one would have made it worse or better.

It was really weird. One cop was a nasty old white fart and the younger guy was practically a trainee and he was Asian and seemed sympathetic but he was also scared of the old guy.

In Denver, Colorado. If it had been downtown I bet it would have been nothing but in the suburbs the cops get bored and needed something to do. 2 cars with a total of 4 cops and a 3rd car with a sergeant all showed up for a simple domestic violence charge. Serious overkill.

No. It happened at a party at her house. I took the classes on a Saturday morning so work never knew and a friend followed me to the police station and I was released after being booked. The cops had to take me to a hospital first to get stitches and treated for a concussion. It was really embarrassing to be sitting there in handcuffs while people walked by.
