The Middle East has been destabilized long before we got our noses stuck in it. You can blame Russia for that. Lol this shows the ignorance of most people’s view of the military. The US navy protects worldwide trade of all shipping lanes to promote billions of dollars of trade for all countries, everyday without issue. The Navy also has these things called submarines that not only deter nuclear war, but lead counter intel alongside with many other branches and jobs. I agree with the first part. But an overwhelmingly majority of military are just doing a job and getting a step up in life. It’s not being pawns to help the man. On top of the fact the military is much, much more than the infantry we have in the Middle East. They DO protect the country on a daily basis.
