"The research also found that students who were born outside of the United States and students whose mothers had lived only part of their lives or never lived in the U.S. had fewer experiences of penetrative sexual assault in college. Religious participation in high school did not prevent sexual assault overall, but a higher frequency of religious participation showed a borderline statistically significant protective association." And what does this tell you? I wonder what the difference would b…

The BBC under the Tories is an SJW lie machine. What's it going to look like under a labor government??

And racism in the US doesn't exist because there was a black president.

Parrot the shit they want you to believe, then when you get your result publish a critique of it explaining which parts you had to lie about believing to get a pass. Publish it on medium or facebook or somewhere. Use it as an opportunity to expose how much they require you to betray your own beliefs and concepts of truth.

She wasn't responsible for her actions, institutional racism, patriarchy and mansplaining made her feel she had no choice but to give the man free food and lodgings. It was his fault!

It's perfectly relevant. It skewers the SJW lie that white men are always the oppressors and brown people and women are always the oppressed which is exactly the kind of twisted thinking that inspires people to call for the desecration of the memory of people who were forced at gunpoint to fight and die for their politicians and oligarchs just because they were white men.

This is fucked. Some women like to be chased. Feminists consider this a crime and will seek to have it prosecuted as either a sex crime or a hate crime or both. Tinder was supposed to solve this problem, it was supposed to be like Grindr, in that sex was supposed to be the deal on the table.Unfortunately women don't work like that and Tinder turns out to be worse than real life. How are we to know who isn't going to over react to simple human interaction? Either feminists need to wear a junior a…

Maybe you have a valid point, I've been away for a while. But this seems a strange thread to make that complaint on.

What other knowledge-gathering system surpasses science for making practical predictions about and effective models of the real world? What miraculous new epistemology should medicine, bridge building and applied physics be switching to? If there is anything that can be used to "prove" hypotheses about the world with greater accuracy and replicability than science then by all means restrict the use of the word "prove" to that new marvel. Until then, science is the most "real" knowledge we have a…

Where's this? I've been digging around on wikipedia (I know, I know, but it's a good starting point) and discovered some interesting things. Finland granted full universal suffrage to men and women in 1906 and elected the world's first (apparently) female MPs in 1907! 19 out of 200. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_women%27s_rights_(other_than_voting) Also from that page it's very interesting to note that the British colonies of New Zealand granted women the vote in 1893. Australia ga…

This attitude is not that recent. And the past is a Hodge podge mix of different attitudes from one age to another and obviously from one community to another. Women in the upper classes were usually more protected and privileged than men, women and children from lower orders. The feminists like to pretend women weren't allowed to work until 1950 . Interesting. "Like it or not, evidence now shows that men and women differ genetically far more profoundly that we have previously recognised. What do these new insights mean for our progress toward gender equity? A bad outcome could be appeals to return to outdated sexual stereotypes. A good outcome will be recognition of sex differences in medicine and treatment." A good outcome would be a recognition that ideas like "gender equity" are anti science, anti liberty and, when wielded by the FAANG…
