I also feel that a lot of dating advice gets too specific (always sit next to her, make sure you never do coffee dates to start) etc and I believe if you follow these principles the rest will fall in to place. Really your best bet is to take a girl out for drinks, escalate quickly and if she doesn't reject you / turn your advancements down then take her home and bang her.
