It might be better to just not get married in the first place and ensure no assets are comingled so that each person can ask if they are better with or without their spouse each day?

Doesn’t sound very romantic!

Hey thanks for the link but I couldn’t see the failure rate of divorces with prenups, can you tell me what it is if its there?

Yes this is why prenups I feel should be a part of every marriage so that no party feels trapped and everyone can leave when they want. It greatly reduces the chance of a power imbalance and these type of situations.

This is true but with the Western laws its clear that the financially superior person gets destroyed, and usually this happens because it is left up to the courts and the person didn’t understand exactly how their assets would be divided. It would be far more likely to be balanced with a prenup since both people had to sit down and agree on what is fair. If this doesn’t happen the prenups get thrown out anyway.

This is a good point, I didn’t think about that. What would be good is if we could find statistics for first marriages with prenups to account for that. My guess is they work out a much larger percentage of the time as the incentives are set up correctly, since one party is no longer incentivized financially to divorce the other, but it’s just my guess, I really want to find some statistics!

Hi can you give me some advice on how to get around these crazy Western laws? I am 7 figure and want to compound and grow my wealth and use it in a way that pleases God. I am scared of divorce seriously interrupting and messing up my plan as I am a terrible judge of character.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
