My guy..... your finishing two paragraphs of your initial post never clarify a specific type of woman it just says women. I'd ask how I'm projecting when that's quite literally what you are doing in the last conclusive paragraph to your post but I'm sorry you obviously aren't worth talking to and have no desire to fix your terrible arguments. Have a good day and I hope you do some reflection 🙏

If women do that, then they are wrong to do that. I'm not going to defend that. You are quite literally doing the same thing to women, you are using what a small fraction of women say and are vilifying all women for it. EDIT: My whole issue with your post is that you paint women in broad terms. If your main claim was "Some women want superiority over men" I'd be like "yeah okay sure" but It's quite silly to label all women the same way. You strike me as someone who only gets their opinions of wo…

I actually agree with you on part of this. Patriarchal gender roles have pushed men into dangerous, sacrificial positions and have shielded women from some of that risk. That has harmed men and, in some ways, benefited women. Acknowledging that doesn’t weaken the argument for patriarchy. It supports it. Where I disagree is with the claim that women “self-destruct more” and therefore need male control or protection. Historically, men have held most political, military, and economic power, and man…

I'm going to focus here on the military service aspect as the other arguments have been covered. Male only military service is not evidence of female privilege but of the patriarchal system that assigns men the role of expendable protector and assigns that women must be protected as bearers of future generations. This reflects a rigid gender hierarchy that exists under the patriarchy and traditional views. Under the patriarchy men are traditionally seen as protectors and warriors. Men are framed…

"We aren't" You don't speak for all men. There are absolutely men out there saying that women's rights should be overturned and they they shouldn't be in the workplace etc. Is it rare? Absolutely. It does happen though.

I'm sorry but this is equivalent to saying there's no societal factors that play into obesity rates. It's a ridiculous claim. 🙄 like do we really not understand that outside factors have a huge affect on how people act and behave? I'm not even agreeing with the claim of the OP that this is all bad etc. But are you seriously saying that porn addictions etc are the solely the fault of the individual? EDIT:I'll try to make my position more clear, each individual had a responsibility to deal with th…

Genuinely asking here: when I hear intimate I don't solely think of romantic relationships. The obvious point here is that romantic relationships are intimate by default and others aren't, but they can still be intimate? Unless by intimate you solely mean sexual intimacy.

I understand the sarcasm/pettiness but I'll respond in good faith. First off to be VERY clear I believe that individuals can decided to pursue the things they want as long as it doesn't harm others. If someone really wants to be super rich or famous or whatever then go for it. This is quite literally my whole point. Tate wants to give young men a hyper specific example of what men should strive for. I think that's bullshit. Tate's model for success only works for a small percentage of men. By mo…

"Traditional" Views that aren't even traditional??? Viewing success as money, status, fame etc is entirely a new concept. Throughout the majority of the 20th century success DID look like being happy and content in your life. How we view success had radically changed over the last 40-50ish years (no idea of an actual timeline).

If your metrics for success are: fame, money, status, and lots of women, then your metrics for success are terrible and you will never be happy in life. The average dude who (hopefully) has a job they derive satisfaction from, is financially stable, and has solid friendships and works towards building himself to be a better partner/has a stable romantic relationship with someone who loves him is waaaaay more successful than Tate, AND it's a more realistic expectation for men to achieve. "In the minds of a lot of men this is what success looks like, and a good portion of them can clearly point to a time in their life when they saw men more successful than they were do considerably better with a lot more beautiful women than they were" This is almost THE ISSUE with Tate. 98% of his audience will never even get remotely close to the status that Tate has. 98% of his audience will try to be successful and then will fail. Thats one of the reasons why they are at the every least more respectable than other content creators. They don't claim to be moral or dating arbiters (despite being successful in their respective spheres and successful in dating/relationships). They give the bog standard advice which is really the only valuable advice you can give to people pursuing relationships and dating.

BASED. Have whatever preferences you want for a partner, just don't go around shitting on people who don't meet those preferences. Also realize that your preferences are YOUR preferences. Nobody has to give a shit about them and nobody has to meet your expectations (i.e. not everyone HAS to be traditional, or vice versa people who want to be traditional have every right to do so).

Okay well I think we'd just disagree. Skimming (or also scanning) are valuable tools for reading rapidly in order to get a general overview of the material. It's fine if you feel differently but generally skimming and scanning are highly effective ways to quickly get the main ideas from whatever source you are reading. If you care about academics at all these are supported by most academic institutions.

When women are able to vote, own land, when they are able to occupy more spaces in society (higher involvement in academics and the work force) they are not only happier BUT they also are able to contribute to society. The fact that you think women contributing more to society doesn't benefit men is absolutely mind boggling. Also feminism doesn't need to explicitly care about men to benefit them. That's why it's called feminism, because it originally set out to expand women's roles in society. M…

This is just false imo. Radical feminism surely doesn't care about men but in the long run feminism benefits men to a small degree as well. When we look at the original goals of feminism (expanding the roles of women in society) I'd say that also benefits men to a certain degree. So unless you are willing to say that women being able to vote or own land, or that higher women participation in college or the work force is BAD for men then you certainly can't say that feminism doesn't care about me…

I think this is the correct nuance. In my experience people who usually say to NOT be vulnerable have done one of a few things: been vulnerable too quickly, or is vulnerable too often. No one wants to be trauma dumped on too early, and nobody wants someone who's "vulnerable" once every week (I think this goes for women and men btw). In general the person you are being vulnerable with should EARN your vulnerability (i.e. has shown they cared for you and you've been friends/romantic for a while).

The grass is always greener on the other side. I was born a man and would choose to be a man. For no other reason than that's all I've known. Life is difficult no matter what, being a woman or man isn't going to change that and anyone who think it does is delusional. The right choice depends entirely on what setting you are born in.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 01:02 AM

I think the nuance here is that if you simply want a divorce because of cheating then there really isn't a need to prove it. If you wanted someone to NOT get custody etc. then it's probably important to prove it.

I don't really understand this position, in your post you seem to think no fault divorces should stay yet you want to argue and say people NEED evidence to get divorced? Like this position you have on needing evidence is just ridiculous lol. I agree on needing evidence for lots of things but needing evidence to get divorced (unless you are trying to prove abuse or that some sort of law broken) is extreme.

Stating that a gender has less rights because they are inferior in some aspects (logic and thinking) inherently means you are saying men are superior.

Their reply was general because the person they were replying to didn't give a lot of info. Why in the world would they assume all these things about someone? If you don't have specific knowledge about someone's situation you give general advice. I agree with you, BUT the average man thinks that getting a compliment from a woman means that the woman js interested in him because MEN generally only compliment women they are interested in. So it doesn't really matter if it's not an indicator because men think it's an indicator.

Although I usually consider myself to be blue pill I take a more red pill approach to this topic. I won't talk about porn use outside of relationships (although I think it's probably bad to use outside of relationships but don't have much to back that up). I think it's tough when OP doesn't give strict definitions (this is not me blaming OP). We each have slightly different interpretations of words so when we aren't given a common base to stand on we each are operating under our own slightly different definitions and meanings which can lead to disagreements even when there really aren't any. I should have started off with some basic definitions so that's my bad!

Okay I'll condense some of these threads in a response as I think a lot of disagreement is just due to semantics. If there's something you really want me to respond to let me know and I'll do so. In relationships you should always be doing things for your partner, and those things should change from partner to partner as people have different needs/wants. This idea that each partner you have has to be more special than your last partner is such a terrible way to look at relationships. Relationships with different people are going to be very different. The sole act of being committed to one person is how you show your partner that you like them. EDIT: I'll expand on this a bit. Women won't be attracted to you if you are emotionally vulnerable all the time. If a woman has gained your trust you can absolutely be vulnerable with her and it won't turn her off. If a woman hasn't gained your trust and your being vulnerable then of course it's going to turn her off because she's going to realize that you being vulnerable is shallow.

I really think it's as simple as women have better friendships with other women, than men have with men. You are right in that a small percentage of men might find fulfillment in sleeping around a bunch. In my opinion these are men that will figure out how to do it more naturally and won't need a step by step guide on how to do it. I'm hesitant to say most men should experience it but I think if someone wants to experience it, and is able to then by all means try it out.

The uncomfortable red pill truth here is that for the average guy it's quite tough to sleep with lots of people. Being able to escalate things sexually revolves around having the necessary social skills and being able to read signs from women. Both those come from practice. If you don't have the initial social skills you'll never be able to get to the point where you could figure out if someone wants to sleep with you. In your post you said this guy doesn't have the social skills for dating, but has social skills for male friends. The most important thing to realize is that women don't require some massive different social strategy than men. If he practiced talking to more women he would gain the social skills he needs go be able to eventually bridge the gap and get into a sexual relationship.

No because having steps is cringe. Sleeping with women isn't a 5 step process and if my friend was looking for exact steps then I'd call him an idiot. EDIT: Also just because I didn't list steps doesn't mean they aren't there. Step 1: Practice talking to women and get good at being comfortable talking to women Step 2: Start talking to more women you want to sleep with Step 3: Ask them out There's your steps bud

I'd tell him wanting to have sex with lots of random people is whack and if he wants to have lots of sex he's better off just finding a girlfriend. On a real note I'd just tell him it's important to get used to talking to women. He should talk and approach women every time he goes out WITHOUT trying to get anything out of it. At a grocery store? This is the best answer in the whole thread. First off being "better off" is something that needs to be defined, but by the metrics OP used these things are "better" not due to being a virgin but due to religious or other underlying thought processes.

Please provide where you got your info about how "Virgins are objectively better for long-term commitment. they are less likely to divorce, they are more likely to be satisfied in their relationship, and they are less likely to cheat.". The likely reason for "lower" divorce rates with only 0 sexual partners is likely just due to the fact that some people get lucky and meet their perfect match very early in life.

Absolutely not because I don't expect my girlfriend or wife to do it. It'd be one thing if I was DEMANDING my partner go through childbirth when they don't want to, but I'm not forcing my partner to go through childbirth.

Your question was: "Would you as a man, go through a machine that could replicate those pains? Would you be OK with a woman demanding a man go through it before she bears any children with him?" Yet in your comment you seem to say that I'd be sharing in the pain? If I could literally take some of the pain of childbirth away from my wife, and bear it on myself I would absolutely do that. In no way would I take that pain on if it didn't take pain away from my wife. If this is just a simulation whe…

No I would not go through those pains because I don't have to. I absolutely have the utmost respect for women who go through child birth. I don't see why having to go through simulated pain of childbirth has anything to do with my ability to father kids. If I REALLY loved a woman and she had good reasoning for it then maybe, but off the top of my head I don't think there's any valid reasoning for it.

Looks do matter a lot for men. Honestly looks are probably slightly more important than personality. Looks will likely be the deciding factor between a potential partner and a best friend. That being said don't lose hope! Looks are subjective and if you truly are a joy to be around like some of your friends think then you'll find someone. Unfortunately it'll just take a little bit longer.

Absolutely not, red pillers take basic truths but then run to the extreme with them. I can agree with red pillers about alot of their initial first assessments of the world but I disagree with how they choose to act upon those truths.

I understand that line of thinking. I would agree to some extent that someone would feel differently if approached on the street vs a party they have went to for fun.

How is no approach at a party cold if there are complete strangers there? It's funny that you are stating it's not complicated when cold approach is as simple as this: if it's a stranger it's a cold approach. I guess we just agree to disagree. Cold approaches can happen literally anywhere, and the only thing that makes an approach cold is if its a complete stranger. It's okay if you think differently.

Based off the very little knowledge we have of this situation... she's stated that she didn't know this guy was a friend of her friend. If she doesn't know this guy is a friend of her friend then it's still a cold approach right?

What I'm saying is that red pillers will take regular truths like yes women prefer certain heights, or they'll say things like women overvalue themselves and I'd agree with these things. Unfortunately red pillers then take those things to the extreme, (granted not all red pillers take height to the extreme) but some will say its useless to try and date if you aren't tall, or instead of acknowledging that women overvalue themselves (or think they are only valuable for sex) precisely because MEN g…

Just because you acknowledge a basic fact doesn't make things red pilled. That's the issue with red pillers is you get some of the basics right but then run all the way to the extreme. Blue pill is acknowledging that height plays a big role but isn't necessarily the end all be all.

This is a direct quote from u/SeveralSadEvenings "Not my friends, not their party, zero idea who my ex was prior to meeting him. Jesus Christ." How about you stop doing guess work and listen to what they said? This whole talking point just absolutely baffles me. In your comment you are ASSUMING that in a private party EVERYBODY gets vetted. This is not how parties work and it shows that you've never been to one. I don't disagree with you that there's a difference in meeting someone who is an acq…

If you are a stranger to someone it's a cold approach. It does not matter if you know one of their acquaintances. At the moment of the approach if someone is a stranger then it's a cold approach. From the context we were given, she didn't know this guy and didn't know that he knew her friend when he approached. That makes it a cold approach.

A cold approach by a chad is still a cold approach. What do you mean by this comment?

Why is a woman not a threat to a relationship? If your girlfriend is into other women (you said it's not cheating if a woman sleeps with a woman??) Then wouldn't those other women be a threat?

HAHA thank you I would assume she is as well. I would say that it's HARD to have fulfilling sex with a partner and its something that needs plenty of work from both sides. Just unfortunate that red pillers focus on having shitty sex with tons of women vs fulfilling sex with a single partner.

I hope this is a whoosh moment for me... why is it not cheating if it's with a woman?

I know im bringing up an exception but my current partner is on BC and in her ideal world we'd be having sex 2-3 times a day. Generally speaking, if your partner is into you she'll want to have sex. In all my relationships my partners have wanted to have sex MORE than me (for context I'm a heterosexual male).

I don't believe there is ANY unconditional love. Ill start with an obvious point, if my dad got into a coma and woke up with no memory he would no longer love me. Furthermore if I continously acted in a way that endangered my family they would no longer love me. You might be able to argue a difference between loving someone, and then giving someone ACCESS to your love but I don't believe you can truly love someone and not give them access to your love. Love SHOULD be conditional because if I get…
