Women and men communicate and think very differently. She's doing what many women do, which is fill in her own interpretations between the lines to support her view without providing a well thought-out counter-argument. It's frustrating to communicate like this, since men generally communicate literally through the words they say, where women often make up stuff about what the other person said based on how it made them feel and fill in words (often ad hominems and loaded terms) that were never …

You should go through your own comments and read them like it's another person. This should, should, help you understand why people stop talking to you. You should also read up on the adjusted wage gap and really understand it. It explains the reasons women earn less on average.

women just say the unattractive man is sexist, autistic and a bad listener ect to have some sort of moral high ground rather than to say he was unattractive. This is the gist of the whole conversation and explains most of the issues men are having with regards to relationships. A huge percentage of threads on subjects like this could just be condensed into this and locked so we can move on with our day.

Yes, men have a much more varied taste in women and will be a lot more accepting of flaws than women will respectively. The subject here is women's requirements, and most won't accept a man they perceive under their own level. But they're more picky, so they usually don't accept men even of their own level, because they believe that man is still below them. It's mostly a delusion brought on by makeup (and in some cases youth), nowadays amplified by social media. My point is that even though you …

You also picked a hot celebrity that so many guys had a crush on growing up to describe average women. I haven't seen her lately but she was gorgeous back then. Yes, it was deliberate, and it proves my point. Comparing to every woman, she's most definitely average, yet men see her as more beautiful. Because there are a lot of women who are a lot more beautiful. But it also illustrates how much more lenient men are in their assessment of beauty and they will accept a lot more in the category of "…

I wouldn't say so, men are not nearly as picky as women and most aren't expecting they'll get the hot ones. Average women (let's say someone like Haley Williams from Paramore) are quite attractive to most men, but they will rarely accept men of their own level until they get older. It's the obese ones and unattractive ones that men aren't interested in.

When men say "women won't give a guy a chance" they do the same as women when they say they want a nice guy. It's assumed it's a woman they find attractive. No one cares about not getting laid by an ugly chick, it's not something any man would lose sleep over.

Instead of focusing on ugly, I'm focusing on "in relationships". That's not automatically good, unless it's with someone you really want to be with. A huge amount of relationships is with who you can get, not who you want. So just being ugly and in a relationship doesn't mean it's good, and doesn't really prove anything. It's a bit like saying, look at that passed out junkie, he has a home (a ramshackle about to collapse)! Money doesn't matter!

I base my views on what I personally think, and how much it differs from how others think. Many people are quite bad at observing patterns and predicting the future. I am fairly good at it, not to toot my horn overly much. That doesn't mean I can't make mistakes, but when you predict things correctly often enough, you can better assess if your views are accurate or not. The exceptions prove the rule, as the say. When you focus on exceptions, you can't see the forest for the trees. People are oft…

I think you should work on understanding what an example or a metaphor is. It was an example of not taking accountability for your actions. You can apply it to any situation whatsoever. How is this so difficult? I know what love is, I have been in a long relationship with a woman, and had lots of platonic relationships with people in general. Understanding what love is doesn't destroy it, not to me at least. Anyone would be sad if their longtime spouse has something bad happen to them. But in th…

You are a great one to speak about "accountability" while you attack women for living their lives. My comment about you not liking women is based on your own words. You are the one that said the only reason to have a relationship with a woman was for sex. That is not liking women, but wanting to use them. I like cars. I want to drive them. I don't buy a car to just be able to wash it and wax it in my yard. I do those things to take care of the car, so I can continue driving it. I'm sure you'll t…

Please indicate where I "admitted" I never liked women. You really love to put words in other people's mouths don't you. Not that it's rare, just another symptom of always blaming someone else. It's another result from the weak fathers I mentioned. Never being told you're wrong skews your world view when everyone that disagrees with you is wrong or "a sociopath". You're also a good example of this because in almost every return you attack my person or my manhood. It's a lazy and poor style of ar…

I am, actually. In my country there has been a risk of war for decades. I don't live in the US, an isolated island of a country that keeps stoking wars in the rest of the world while sitting safely behind big oceans while telling others how to think. And of course you resent fathers that treat their daughters well so that they know their worth and will avoid men who only want to use them for their own pleasure at her expense. Heaven forbid she should get sick or need someone that actually cares …

This might shock you, but there are men that actually love and care for women and want a relationship not just to get sex. That's not a foreign concept to me, so do I. But I see no point in being in a relationship with a woman if there's no sex involved. In that case I could just live with a man if I wanted company, they're way better company in any case. This might shock you, but men don't do housework and pamper their wives because they're such amazing conversational company. I actually think …

Ok, I concede it might not have been feminine men, misremembered, but some studies have shown that it can affect some things: https://royalsociety.org/news/2011/partner-choice-influenced-by-pill/ Sex is the major, if not only reason for men, biologically, to have a relationship with a woman. You might want a relationship for other reasons, but that's not applicable when it comes to "genuine desire". I know this is a term that some use frequently, I find it a bit obnoxious but it describes the ph…

Maybe you're missing the point here? Or deliberately misunderstanding. The discussion earlier was about women's preferences and "genuine desire". I have said nothing about women not being allowed to use birth control. But it's been demonstrated that the pill makes women's preferences almost the opposite of what they are while off the pill, i.e. naturally. For instance they tend to prefer more feminine men while on the pill. This skews the whole discussion of what women actually want in men, espe…

No you didn't, you just twisted them through your own preconceptions. You're doing the inferring here, I'm not implying anything. Feel free to ask if something was unclear. Imagine being drunk off your ass and buying 50 hamburgers. Would you say that your choice was a good one, once you sobered up? Women are not objects in existence for your use and pleasure. Couldn't the same be said about women's preferences?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 07:04 AM

What are you talking about? You didn't address a single point.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 06:30 AM

Do you really think that mediocre women aren't artificially boosted? There's a hundred different products created to hide women's signs of poor health. Add to that the artificially boosted women's job market and there's another problem. If we could try a tinder or dating market that bans makeup, we'd really see who's artificially boosted and who's not. How is it better for society where women are free to choose, but men aren't? Especially considering things like birth control pills skewing women…

The difference between desire and utility is all the world. It's the difference between a valued member of the family and a farm animal that pulls the plow. Many if not most guys are just plow oxen. This is such an important point that rarely gets any attention. It's the reason why "you'll find someone" is not the consoling words someone might think.

I didn’t see anyone claim to prioritize personality, it’s part of the package. I'm not telling you what you see, you're a woman who lives in a woman's world. I'm telling you what boys and men see for most of their lives. Even when the woman they could get fawns over the handsome guy who never even said anything to her, they are told that personality is what matters more. We see what you do, and it never matches up with what you say. Women don’t give a flying fuck about appearing “virtuous” to me…

Bullshit. Women just claim that they prioritize personality, because they need to project an image of being virtuous. Men also get more attracted by personality & looks than looks alone, but likewise won't be attracted to just personality if she's ugly. Women aren't some ethereal beings who value other things than superficial qualities, they just like to be seen as such.

That paradox has always annoyed me. For some reason, we must lift women up and roll out the red carpet for every position, but somehow not because they're weak? Also, modern Homo Sapiens is about 160,000 years old, pretty curious how only in the last decades or so women have suddenly found the gusto to empower themselves.

No man has slept with a woman he found unattractive because she was nice or made him laugh. True, we aren't interested in sleeping with funny women, but attractive ones. Neither are women, which is what who you were replying to is saying.

If one is sexually appealing, do they still have to be those other bare minimum things?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/25 03:43 PM

Did you even read what you quoted, or do you just want to be angry? A young boy is told that he is enough by being nice, romantic and inoffensive. But when he grows up, he notices that no woman wants him unless he is exceptional. Women say that this is the bare minimum. Conducting oneself with the bare minimum of polite behavior is required to move about the world, women aren’t a fucking reward for normal behavior. Why isn't the "bare minimum", as you say, enough? What else does a man need to be…

The simultaneously funny and frustrating thing about the whole red pill discussion is that the majority seems to completely ignore why it's called the red pill. It is waking up to the harsh reality, which was previously dressed up as something false, to keep you in line. And even when men realize this, they are shamed for it and essentially told to swallow the blue pill again. judging by some posts here it seems like some are drawn to it by their lack of success with women. Many times, yes. But …

and before you say "nOt ALL woMEN are LykE that" - yes. the vast vast majority of them are like 95%. I firmly believe that I will never ever be friends with a women unless she is at least somewhat attracted to me. why? - becuase that requires letting someone in and connecting, and a women is not doing that if she is not interested at least a little sexually. You are correct to assume this. In almost all cases, it's one party of a relationship like this who is attracted to the other at least a li…

Most people are very simple creatures. Just because the phenomenon now is called red pill and blue pill, they associate it with the matrix and twist it into being some woowoo scifi concept that cannot be interpreted any other way than their own simplified view of it. When, as you say, it's called an epiphany, it's more tangible and normal. And blue pill could just as well be called "self delusion" or even just lack of real world experience. These are both real phenomena and are human experiences…

And I'm saying that this is wrong It's not, though. You could of course complicate it by the fact that if all other women use makeup and you don't, you're lower in status (because men see you as less attractive and prefer the others), but the end result and reason are still the same. Of course, a more attractive woman will still beat out an ugly woman with makeup, but that doesn't disprove the point of makeup. Yes, it seems everyone who doesn't agree with you only feels that way because they are…

You're bringing in a lot of stuff that has nothing to do with the subject at hand. The point was that women wear makeup because of men, not necessarily for them (although it's often for certain men). I have no pressing need to convince you of this, it's just something you can see by looking around and deducing for yourself. Not more complex than observing that cats are interested in birds, and just as little point to try to argue. But of course I understand that personal hangups or for some, nec…

Yes, men wear suits to attract women. Men do most things in life to attract women. There is no logic whatsoever in wearing makeup "for yourself", since it's something devised explicitly to get sexual attention from the opposite sex. It's just mental gymnastics to make it sound like you're somehow above biology and you refuse to stoop so low to get the attention of others (trying to avoid looking desperate). Which you are of course still doing, and denying it just makes you look worse, and less t…

This whole discussion could be ended forever by substituting the wrong word for the correct one. It's "because" of men, not "for" men that they use makeup. Men especially will treat you better with makeup in general. So yes, women are doing it for themselves but because of men. The disingenuous part is that they try to dress it up to look like they don't care about men finding them attractive, which is just wrong. It's one of the central tenets of most women, for some reason I can't fully grasp,…
