So refreshing to hear your voice! The definition of rape has changed through history but now encompasses the US rite of neonatal ritual penectomy as per the Rome Statute: Rape The perpetrator invaded the body of a person by conduct resulting in penetration, however slight, of any part of the body of the victim or of the perpetrator with a sexual organ, or of the anal or genital opening of the victim with any object or any other part of the body. The invasion was committed by force, or by threat …

This is what I get when I try the link, it means this comment is no longer. I don't dispute that you may be able to see it but when I log out it is not visible, so only you can see it. This is the trickery of SoMe which if you are effectively against this prehistoric sacrificial rite being forced on children you would know all about! Your argument is based on exactly the same principle of definitions being carved in stone that the feminists you refer to rely on. What exactly do you find abusive …

It's not defined by how horrible it is. True, here's the modern definition: Rape The perpetrator invaded the body of a person by conduct resulting in penetration, however slight, of any part of the body of the victim or of the perpetrator with a sexual organ, or of the anal or genital opening of the victim with any object or any other part of the body. The invasion was committed by force, or by threat of force or coercion, such as that caused by fear of violence, duress, detention, psychological…

Also, circumcision was first practiced by non-Jewish Westerners to stop masturbation, so it definitely does have roots in limiting sexual pleasure as well. This is true however in the history of the rite this is very recent and only in a period before it became established tradition. The period followed the discovery of effective anaesthesia which quickly led to a surgery craze which still lingers even today in US. The excuses for performing the rite always fit the values of the given society ev…

First off I provided you with a link to the definition of "FGM" and to an "FGM" expert explaining that in Indonesia with the largest number of cases by far of any country, it is only superficial. Do you acknowledge that? Obviously not all injuries are debilitating, do you agree? If so then why are you even asking me that question? Thousands of Western women spend large sums choosing to have "FGM" in the form of cosmetic genital surgery eg so-called labiaplasty or genital piercings at a tatoo art…

Both are issues. No, its one issue, the infliction of non medical injuries on childrens' genitals. Making out they are separate issues depending on the sex of the victim to defend Western tradition just perpetuates the tradition to the detriment of billions of children, girls as well as boys. One is tied in religious doctrine and not meant to essentially cripple the victim. False distinction, boys are no more put through this rite for religious reasons than girls are and in neither case is it in…

It was for the UN which is mostly men not women! We're talking about the rite of circumcision, inflicting injuries on a child's genitals. "MGM" is a copycat term to "FGM" ie male circumcision, the title of the chapter I'm referring to. Quote me for saying "a feminist pushing fir it". Its not a book but a report and you obviously have no idea what is in it. I was clearly correct that you have no real interest in being informed.

Its not really available online but here: https://archive.org/details/hoskenreportgeni0000hosk/page/n3/mode/2up I'll send you a copy of the chapter entitled "Male Circumcision: A Comparison" if you provide an email address. Otherwise you'll have to borrow it from your library. Something tells me though that you really don't care for actual research.

Show me where you get your evidence from please. Can you be more specific? And how is FGM discriminatory? "FGM" is discriminatory as it was deliberately coined to make a false distinction between putting girls through the rite and doing the same with boys where the latter was not deemed mutilating while the former was. It has lead to specific discriminatory legislation in most Western countries and many non Western ones defacto legalising the rite in the case of boys. It is genuine butchered mut…

The issue with "aesthetics" is purely cutting culture, yes. errect ones look similar to circumscised one as the tip is uncovered. This again is a cutting myth. The normal male anatomy is that the glans, what you wrongly call the tip, is covered irrespective of state. The foreskin is capable of retracting from covering the glans to cover the entire shaft and it is this rolling motion that is primally responsible for stimulation of the penis. Unfortunately the influence of cutting culture's hygien…

Homologue was not used as the comparison and the G spot is not a recognised anatomical term or structure. The glans clitoris is widely reported as the most erotogen part of the female sexual anatomy and the frenulum delta is one of the two most erotogen parts of the male sexual anatomy - the other being the ridged bands which are in the same vicinity and also lost in the rite. Would you compare a surgery to remove the male prostatic utricle with a radical hysterectomy on the same basis, that the…

Feminist Fran Hosken with her report to the UN in 1979 was largely responsible. I suggest you read that report and educate yourself. As for the hate I'll let others decide where that most likely lies.

the tradition was started by men What evidence do you have for that in the research? Are present day men responsible in any way for what their male ancestors did back in prehistoric times?

Feminists were the ones responsible for coining the discriminatory term "FGM" and they put their own sons through the rite or celebrated when family and friends did. It likely predates religion and certainly does with all presently practiced ones. In USA, which fiercely fights to maintain the rite when it comes to boys, it is the norm irrespective of religion. The reality is that it is the mother (in USA) who makes the decision when she signs the consent form. It is also mostly women who are the…

it is illegal in Australia Legal source? What were the legal consequences after a doctor in Perth killed a child and nearly killed his brother? Toddler dies and baby brother left in serious condition after circumcisions at Perth clinic most of the time I have witnessed in my career as a nurse it is actually the dad wanting the circumcision. "FGM" is circumcision, its a category where the sex is female. It should be treated for what it is, a form of extreme child sexual abuse.

removing the clitoros is about taking away a woman’s ability to feel pleasure during sex "FGM" is any non medical injury inflicted on the female genitalia and never involves the removal of the clitoris, which if ever was a tradition would be a form of execution! The term "FGM" itself is discriminatory and highly misleading, as obviously not all injuries are mutilations. A baby just died last week from one. What case are you referring to? This tradition of inflicting injuries on a child's genital…

You mean if dozens of girls were dying from having their genitals mutilated in the rite of circumcision? It doesn't take dozens of deaths, one verdict in a case is enough for that to be world news or even a higher estimate of girls being put through it! Western media, not least SoMe, has to keep up the false narrative of ritual injurying of a girl's genitals being always a mutilation whereas doing the same to a boy's is merely controversial, and that far more girls die as a result than boys.

Like that’s really bad and it’s something that needs to be raised awareness off for it’s own sake not to score points against feminists I think the killing of newborn babies and infants in a prehistoric sacrificial rite condoned by the state because they had the misfortune to be born with a penis, is a whole lot worse than really bad. I know plenty who care about male genital mutilation The problem with this claim is that no feminist really speaks out and says boys are discriminated against by "FGM" laws. When feminist's darling Waris Dirie boasted about putting her son Aleeke through the rite in her best selling book, no feminist batted an eyelid. The reason they don't care is because they weaponised the issue of GM back in the 70s to use in their fight against the patriarchy and there really isn't any going back on that bec…

All I could find was 44,320 deaths annually across 15 African nations including South Africa Which is complete nonsense as it is an estimate based on a purported extra mortality using selected data as the norm. I was interested in this method because I'd tried to use it years ago but came to the conclusion the actual mortality rate is so low it is drowned out by other causes. Most women are not that shallow like you, but care so they can take it into consideration along with everything else, to see if there's a match, and then to be a better more understanding partner if there is. In terms of sexual pleasure, is what I meant, since the head of the penis (glans penis) is similar in sensitivity and arousal to the external nub of the clitoris (glans clitoris). You've got it all sadly wrong! Like I wrote the closest equivalent to the glans penis is the cervix. They're both buffers, meaning they are not meant to be sensitive as this would not be a good idea with that function! In US the glans penis is made out to be the focus of pleasure which is why porn is dominated by fella…

It’s not false equivalence at all! No, glans penis is not the equivalent of glans clitoris, are you crazy? The glans penis is orders off magnitude larger, is corpora spongiosa not cavernosa and is an integral part of the urinary and reproductive tract while the glans clitoris is neither. The closest female anatomical equivalent of the glans penis is the cervix. No, the glans penis is the least sensitive part of the penis. Circumcision ablates the most sensitive parts of the penis. FGM is practiced to control women's sexuality, enforce virginity before marriage, and promote marital fidelity. It's a way of exerting control over women and girls within patriarchal systems. Oh, so suddenly its not conscious memory but subconscious! So how do you know you don't subconsciously remember your foreskin being peeled off and amputated? Sure drugging someone against their will has moral implications but that's beside the point since so does sexual abuse and here's the thing, it doesn't depend on memory, conscious or subconscious. There's large pyschological aspect to this rite but I don't believe it plays a significant role in self abuse. It is sexual abuse, in fact with a penectomy which is what you suffered, it falls under the modern definition of rape. This usually as is intended, results in trauma bonding, a survival mechanism when one is totally dependent on one's abusers. I suggest exploring that aspect of trauma for example mentioned here.

I agree. All three of my kids (a son and two daughters) have piercings and tattoos and none were put through this rite. The difference is in the consent. "FGM" is defined as a practice that involves altering or injuring the female genitalia for non-medical reasons, if "MGM" is similarly defined for male genitalia, what sense does that make? Take for example "FTI" for female traffic injury and "MTI" for male traffic injury, would it give any meaning to say there are many types of the former, some can be closer to the latter, some worse? Sexual assault causes mental scaring. Not necessarily eg the victim of upskirting who is never aware of it is not going to be effected by it. I however, don't even remember even having a foreskin. This is one of the excuses used by pedophiles eg like the ones who raped a one year old in Sudan or those rapists who drug their victims. If you were the victim of a drug rape with no memory of what happened would you also say it wasn't a sexual assault?

Yes, if a prophylactic appendectomy or mastectomy was performed on a normal healthy baby it to would be severe abuse. Take the case of Angeline Jolie. If she had been put through a mastectomy where her breastbuds had been excised as a neonate then that would have been severe abuse despite the fact that she chose to have it performed as an adult due to her great risk of contracting a deadly disease. Tens of thousands of women pay a lot of money to have parts cut off in so called labiaplasties, a lot more than men choosing to have their foreskin amputated. Amputated bodyparts don't work and the organ system from which they have been amputated become dysfunctional when the bodypart/s have unique functions as with the foreskin. If your measure of harm is whether sexual pleasure and reproduktion are still possible then you are regarding almost all types of sexual assault as harmless! Its defined as any non medical injury. A mutilation generally implies a degree of severity that would at least exclude superficial injuries like a pin prick. In judicial cases courts have been divided in their rulings so for example the Australian High court has ruled that even a superificial pinprick when inflicted on a girl's genitals for non medical reasons, is a mutilation. This is in contrast to a case in the UK High Court where such an injury was ruled not to be a mutilation. In the widely…

No, we cannot just agree they are both bad since the difference in "badness", is a pillar in the feminist, now mainstream narrative, bifurcating the rite into two different practices. Female circumcision is more invasive and more prone to infection than male circumcising, due to just the biological fact that the clitoris is not, anatomically, equivalent to foreskin. The clit is equivalent to the head of the penis, the labia is equivalent to foreskin. Female circumcision is the removal of the organ, the clitoris. Male circumcision does not cut off the head of the penis. So just as a medical fact, female circumcision is a more intensive operation. Additionally, because of just …

Many human rights advocates and MGM critics argue that: The legal system overlooks the subjective experience of the child, The procedure causes sexual consequences (e.g., loss of sensitivity), The framing as “non-sexual” ignores consent and trauma. Some argue that by legal definitions used in war crimes or torture statutes (involving genital mutilation or invasion), non-consensual circumcision may deserve reevaluation, especially when performed on infants who cannot consent. But this argument re…

I thought you'd gone? No, I never used AI to make my arguments. I used about 6 different AIs, who have their own training data, which can look up things on the internet, to analyze our arguments so far. When I feed AI my argument as a whole, it gives an almost identical word for word response to the one you make, how do you explain that? If you had written this as a school exercise you would have been caught out for using AI. I don't have a problem with you using AI, in fact its perfectly fine b…

Its perfectly fine to use AI as a tool but you are using it to make your argument and that's a fatal flaw! You obviously don't understand the nature of AI and why you cannot use it as you do. You essentially repeat youself (or AI does!) without addressing my rebuttal, that is not engaging in good faith. Since you have departed the discussion, I won't bother making more effort. Bye.

FGM and MGM have specific definitions recognized by global health and human rights organizations. They refer to the intentional cutting, removal, or injury to the genitalia for non-medical reasons, usually cultural or traditional. Yes, in the case of "FGM" but where do global health and human righjts organisations define "MGM"? Rape and sexual assault (SA) are distinct forms of sexual violence involving non-consensual penetration or sexual acts, which do not necessarily involve genital cutting o…

Movies are dominated by Western productions and funding and since the Western practice of the rite is male exclusive, naturally there are more scenes of that nature. FGM and rape are not the same thing. I don't get how you don't understand FGM and MGM are completely different violations compared to rape.... This is modern rape laws: Rape The perpetrator invaded the body of a person by conduct resulting in penetration, however slight, of any part of the body of the victim or of the perpetrator wi…

Ok so what is fundamentally different between the GM rite m/f and rape m/f? There are a number of movies staring female actors undergoing the GM rite while I don't know any of the same with male actors. There are documentaries but I can only think of The Boy Who Was Raised as a Girl with individual cases. Personaly I wouldn't mind seeing a movie where different forms of sexual assault are juxtasupposed. It is true that the rite being performed on boys is normalised in different movie scenes but …

These are all different forms of sexual assault, the rites performed on children are generally also rape "MGM" is always. I think we need to see the bigger perspective and the commonality rather than stressing differences which are often simply constructs. The gendered portrayal in films and the media is something else and for sure it should be scrutinised.

The biggest country by far when it comes to the rite being practiced on girls is Indonesia, not in Africa or the Middle East. You've got that misconception from the feminist narrative largely responsible for the double standard. By correcting another misconception with the words: Wrong, it does in some cultures you say I'm complaining so much about it! Living in the US you assume everyone else is American well I'm not! You're right there's a double standard but it doesn't apply everywhere and it…

People also forget that it shows a complete lack of appreciation of the parts amputated. Imagine if men said they really didn't care whether a woman had a clitoral glans, had labia etc. Most men know about the especially sensitive parts of the female genitals and the role they play in pleasuring. Sadly due to cutting communities pervasive denigration of the male parts amputated a lot of women don't know this when it comes to their intact partners.

Yes, I understand the notion of context. Do you think that means you can say anything as long as you are clearly against the genital mutilation of infants, it couldn't possibly be undermining the fight by using cutting narrative? If so you are quite wrong and your use of appeal to reasonableness (no true scotsman) combined with a straw man, is indicative of it. Answer the question, how are you providing clarity by using cutting narrative as in "infant circumcision" about boys and Female Genital …

The Circumcision powers that be, are really experts at how they craft the narrative to keep infant circumcision going Yes, absolutely, in fact so much so that its even gotten to you in this very post! Right, so their practices are prosecuted…? The odd case has been prosecuted in the west, not always successfully though. There have been many more prosecutions of the practice on boys. Generally prosecutions are only brought when things don't turn out as planned. That doesn't mean girls don't enjoy far better legal protection than boys. So you’re saying even your example affects 6-7 more boys than girls? My example was more of Western ethnocentrism than comparing numbers of victims, in addition …

Actually, it is frowned upon because doctors recommend against labiaplasty for girls under 18. This is not case for the tens of thousands of circumcisions performed on boys in the UK each year, however. Despite this recommendation hundreds are performed by NHS doctors every year without it causing an uproar. I would hope that most UK doctors recommend against ritual penectomies on boys but again thousands are performed by NHS doctors every year. I do take your point though that the recommendatio…

I’m confused because are you saying that forcing post puberty labiaplasty and genital piercings on young girls is not frowned upon in Western society? You didn't mention "forced" before and so it depends on what you mean. Do you mean non consensual since minors cannot give consent? Well for example are the hundreds of labiaplasties carried out in the UK every year on post puberty girls, frowned upon? Are they forced even when the girls insist it is what they want? I don’t know any religion that …

The former is heavily frowned upon by society and occurs in remote tribal areas, the latter is performed on millions of boys around the world every year and socially acceptable. Its pretty much the same everywhere and irrespective of gender. The reason for it is to brand the new generation as belonging to the community, to discourage exogamy and to show allegiance. Therefore the tactics of shaming and derogating normal anatomy not least as disease ridden. Its very difficult to advocate against it, perhaps even dangerous. In your situation I'd say the best is to spread awareness of how Western cutting propaganda also encourages the cutting of girls, of deaths and high mo…

This was on male to female transmission not female to male. Lots of studies were done in an effort to find any evidence to support cutting. Those that didn't were mostly forgotten about eg a fourth one which showed cut women were less likely to be infected not more as was hoped. Therefore there is nothing surpriosing about funding from the Gates foundation.

This is a cutting notion for which there appears little evidence. Viruses are tiny and don't need microlesions to provide an entry point. The oral cavity has lots of microlesions and yet we don't see oral sex or kissing as a risk factor. Its more likely inbalances in the local environment where the immune system is busy and where different fluids mix providing favourable conditions. This would explain why having an STI or genital warts is a big risk factor.

"Evidence" provided by cut men and their cutting communities looking for any justification for their harmful cultural practice! If you were to look for independent evidence then you would find what you are looking for. However why would you be even interested? Do you look for medical evidence when it comes to other harmful cultural practices forced on children? How about the female counterpart, justified with the same claim?

Not many first-world societies however assisted suicide is legal it is strictly regulated and most suicides are still not assisted ones. The medical professionals assisting have to be convinced that it is in best interests of the patient. Sure, by cut men seeking to defend their harmful cultural practice! These kind of men also performed openheart surgery on babies without anaethesia because they meant there was no proof babies could feel pain! It was important for them to maintain that obnoxious notion as long as they could so as not to burden cutters with having to use anaesthesia. Show me the proof that US infant boys suffer lower rates of UTIs than their European peers. I've already given you the US source of the mortality ra…

Balanitis is not mentioned anywhere. Apparently he had lichen sclerosus on his frenulum and reckoned that was what he'd given consent to have surgery on, categorised as a partial circumcision. I'm sure you know of plenty of people who went into this circumcision surgery without the slightest notion of what the plan was and comparatively few who did! The term circumcision is widely used as a euphemism for this kind of penectomy, this case shows it should not be.

Yes, it is "glued" at this stage of development and it does serve to protect the glans however its primary function, again at this stage, is to prevent UTIs. When fully developed its primary function is erotogen facilitating penetration. Secondary function is providing mutual protection/support for the glans. It is an important part of the penis, not distinct from it.

Of course its a mutilation! Here from US Lawinsider: Mutilation means the permanent severance or total irrecoverable loss of use of a finger, toe, ear, nose, genital organ, or part thereof. Yes of course, non consensual ritual tooth extraction is also mutilation.

It doesn't, on the contrary it increases the risk. The US cutting community claim is only that, a claim. The UTI mortality rate for days old boys in USA where most undergo ritual neonatal penectomy is almost 50 times that here in Denmark where none do. Check out GHDX a US database.
