Oh my goodness I don't want to send that then.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:40 PM

I told her she looks like one of the characters from an anime I am currently watching.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:39 PM

Is it about a coin flip? Works 50% of the time because it landed on heads?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:23 PM

Ok. I can get a reply but I don't know what to do from there. For example a recent match replied "that's so sweet! thank you!". But I don't know what to do now?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:22 PM

This is usually what I try to do but maybe I am just not good at it yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:18 PM

I feel like that would lead me back to the same issue I am already having though. I can come up with something creative but they don't seem very interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:14 PM

It's not a full sentence. Why would I send her a random word?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:13 PM

Oh I don't want to be perverted or anything, I just want to go on some dates to start.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:11 PM

How is that an opening?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:10 PM

What do I need to tell them though?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:08 PM

I don't get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:08 PM

Do they like corny lines though? I heard that they like it when you tailor a line to something specific about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:04 PM

How do you guys like to open with new matches on dating apps? I have started using apps and I match with lots of women but when I try to complement them they usually just call me sweet and then I don't know what to do. I am not really good with girls. Do pickup lines work or should I keep trying to complement them?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 07:02 PM

I'm not saying that personality doesn't matter. What I'm saying is that it isn't a variable unless you have the attractiveness to get your foot in the door in the first place. It never comes into play, so how could it be the most important trait?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/23 04:18 PM
1

How are they getting a 2nd/3rd chance when they don't even get a first?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/23 04:15 PM
1

Yes, but this would mean that its secondary to attraction. Personality matters, but its definitely not the most important.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/23 04:04 PM
1

Physical attraction can be determined by looking at someone for a few seconds. Personality takes a long time to get to know. The problem with what you're saying is that if they don't meet the bar for attraction, they'll never get the time of day to show who they are as a person. So you'll never get that second/third chance, since you never even had a first.

Ideally women would have realistic standards. I think a lottery system would be better than the current state of things.

I used to be bitter about it, but I've since taken a "white pill" approach towards my dating life. Basically, I've realized that I have done everything in my control to have a romantic relationship, and there is nothing I can do to control anybody else's actions. I will continue to keep trying, but there is a good chance that it simply isn't in the cards for me. I think in your example that man B eventually either gets a relationship or moves on to become man A. I've seen it happen to lots of …

You know I never really thought of that. Obviously when the economy is bad there is way more opportunity to make money, but I never really connected the dots that it could be the same for dating as well

Lifting, dressing well, approaching tons of women, good haircut, etc. All the normal advice people give.

I put in the effort and I'm shocked at how little a difference it made.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/22 12:36 AM

There are certain body types that are undesirable even if they’re skinny. These women could still find partners, they just can't date up as much as the normal woman
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/22 11:01 PM

Top 20% in body, sure. But that's only a small part of it. The rest of the features that make you above average are things that are basically impossible to change.

If anything I feel like women's advice only works for attractive men. If you don't meet their baseline, nothing else you do will make women date you.

Once I realized how bad porn is for everyone involved I just stopped. I know that's not really helpful, but I've never had a problem with addiction.

Once I quit porn I basically stopped masturbating as well, so I guess I do NNN? Being a coomer is one of the worst things you can do to yourself I think.

Then there’s also the desire to have casual sex while generally viewing a woman who engages in casual sex as “ruined”. These are usually two different groups of guys

The traits that make men top tier aren't things that can be worked on.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/22 03:33 PM

Way more guys use them than you think. There was a Harvard study where over 1/3rd of guys on dating apps admit to using them. And the vast majority of male actors are on them, to give you an idea of what they look like. Its not only huge bodybuilder types.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 09:36 PM

She had sex, so she wasn't a virgin. If she was enough of a slut to have people spreading rumors about her I doubt that any guy who looks into her past would think shes a virgin.

Western society makes it easier to succeed as a woman. Society always makes sure that women have a safety net to fall back on so they can pursue their passions instead of having to work their lives away.

Woman 100% if I was born in the west. Every area of my life that I care about would be easier. Anywhere else and I'd rather be a guy.

1) They should choose better for the traits they claim to care about. Being picky about behavior and personality would help find good partners. Women on dating apps don't care about either, they are mainly going after appearance. 2) never even heard anybody on this sub bring this up 3) Women are having sex with the same few guys, so they have high N while most guys don't fuck. It makes sense if you put any thought into it. 4) I've never heard anybody but women complain about women who put their …

Women who have a lot of previous partners lack impulse control, are less likely to be able to pair bond, more likely to cheat, etc. None of these are good traits for a relationship. I'd rather have someone I can trust, rely on, and start a family with than someone who is better at sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 03:18 PM

Virgins are better for relationships. If all you care about is sex, then yeah, virgins probably aren't a good choice for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 03:00 PM

A man is significantly reducing his chance of getting a relationship by only virgin hunting Lowering his chance of getting just any relationship, sure. But he's raising his odds of getting a meaningful long term relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 01:41 PM

The other traits don't matter if she isn't able to pair bond. But being a virgin is a good predictor that she has other favorable traits as well.

but every single player on our HS football team knew what that mouth could do. There were also rumours going around she was doing anal with some guys because it technically didn't break her promise to god and her dad. So..... not a virgin

Many. I also know some that claim they don't want a gf but it really seems like they do want a gf but just can't find one.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 04:13 PM

Seems like men would need it more often but it should be available to both. If I were king of the world I'd want social media and online dating banned, but that's not likely to happen. Ideally they could be regulated to get rid of all the crap that is brainwashing people. Things like dating sites making fake profiles to get customers to pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 01:29 AM

My point is that there is 100k+ years of human evolution where women are not the selectors. That doesn't change in the short period of civilization.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 01:13 AM

Subsidizing plastic surgery and regulating social media and online dating would do wonders without taking anybodies rights away.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 01:09 AM

It can be corrected without sacrificing other's rights. We could subsidize plastic surgery, create community events to bring people together, regulate online dating + social media more. The double standard is that nobody wants to do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 01:03 AM

An average guy does not get an average woman these days. Surgery is a more realistic approach to solving the problem, the only issue is making it affordable and available to the increasing amount of people that need it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 12:50 AM

Civilization didn't exist for most of human history. My point is that women weren't choosing the best men to have children with, the men were choosing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 12:34 AM

goals
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 04:55 PM

For you maybe, but you are looking over the guys who don't get these opportunities (and not from a lack of effort on their part)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 04:46 PM
1

All of them seems to want someone empathetic, ambitious, caring, loyal If this is what they really wanted, it would be quite easy to pick them out. Women say they want these traits, but they don't actually prioritize them. Watch what they are doing, not what they are saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 10:41 PM
-1

Even before they were married he was high status + a yale graduate. My point still stands, don't date up and be surprised when they have other options. Hell, if all you're worried about is loyalty maybe try dating down like just about every guy does
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/22 03:31 PM
-1

Of course she should have chose better. Obviously an extremely high status guy is going to have tons of options. Women can't seriously be hypergamous for these guys with thousands of options and still be surprised when they are cheated on, can they?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/22 03:15 PM
1

Women didn't choose for most of human history.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/22 03:05 PM

the guys that are getting options have so many that they don't put in much effort. Not really a big surprise, when its the same few guys. Swipe on a guy who doesn't get matches if you want someone who puts in effort.

Why does everyone hate being beta bucks here? You don't want to take someone that you love out on dates and get them gifts? There's more to a relationship than just sex you know.
