I’m disappointed by all the comments bc the first thing I saw on this sub was this: https://www.reddit.com/r/nationalwomensstrike/comments/12f8hl2/if_you_need_another_reason_to_strike_do_it_to/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1 And it seems to me that it is sufficient reason for any attempt of mobilization Doesn’t matter if it’s “women” strike… doesn’t matter if it’s “feminism”… I mean, even if you hate feminism we’re talking about children… it’s should…

In my understanding of the article they were targeting “incel culture” not involuntary celibate. They are tackling men who identify as being part of incel culture and “manosphere”. Behaviors that can lead to violent actions like hate speech. Because this people are a danger, they didn’t talk aboute men who are single not by choice And even if it’s not fair to identify every involontary celibate with this mouvement, it’s a dangerous behavior that needs to be watched, for every kind of mouvement n…

First wage of feminism was to allowed women to have bank’s account without their husbands permissions things like that, at a time where women weren’t allowed to talk in churches. They didn’t had any resources to put men down

The movement of feminism was created for equality (actually at first it was to have decent rights, it wasn’t there yet). People being extremist is the problem. It’s like religion: faith is not really the main problem, it’s the fact that people follow what make them feel good, validated and the illusion of being superior, that’s what poisons a good cause. Feminism is the same (and same exemples with politics and left turning communists or rights turning fascist). It’s bc of people seeing inequali…

That so far from feminism….Feminism is equality, it’s not putting male down to feel elevated. By doing this you hurting men who didn’t do anything AND women who still need feminism, that the best way to give people the right to be angry at women and that’s disgusting. And honestly, for a movement who says that you don’t have to be viewed as less as a human bc of you sex/gender, it’s hypocritical
