Wonder why! Def not anything nefarious or anything. This sort of made me remember that before the pandemic, my husband would force all the men who try to hug me to hug him. He'd always hold it extra close, tight and for a little too long. Lmaoo. He's just doing it as a distraction because I hate to be touched by men I don't know well, but I've always hoped maybe it taught them some boundaries, too. Not likely but a girl can dream.

I make sure to voice my opinions loudly and often, just to filter people out of my life. Do people disagree often? Sure. I will even debate with someone to an extent when this happens, but if I have to convince you that it's not ok that your coworker sexually harassed the intern, (or whatever scrotes convince themselves is fine these days) I'd rather know now so I can distance and warn others.

"Would they fight this hard for you?" Is my favorite response to this type of behaviour, too. It really seems to hit home and you can almost see all the times these men did not fight for her flashing before her eyes.

A man who loves you will love your loved ones. He will provide them with the same care, respect, and love he provides for his own family. I love that your sister has a good husband, and you have this role model in your life. I wish more girls had this kind of HVM to set their bar to.

Don't worry! Somewhere, right now, in some dark basement under his mom's middle class ranch house, a neckbearded scrote is wiping the excess nuggie grease from his non occupied hand, grabbing his stylus from among the piss jars and making sure to draw some lingerie on this CGI bunny as we speak. The world will soon be at peace for all incels again. 😌

Love this. I really can't stand this 'forgive and forget' BS. Also, if you cared about changing, or had already changed, past behaviours aren't guilt inducing, they're inspiring in their own way. I am ALWAYS bringing up past behaviours that I had when discussing growth, to remind myself how I'm better now and to keep on a path of being the best person I can be. Did I used to do embarrassing and sometimes mean shit? Yes. Do I ask for forgiveness from others and forgive myself now that I'm better?…

I remember being a child, and seeing UPN's 'Girlfriends' every night. Probably not what a young girl should be watching, but I loved the show. There's an episode were one of the girls discusses her 3 month rule. To me, this seemed to make SO much sense. I took this as law and never looked back. In college, over a decade ago, I was discussing this topic with the two male roommates of my (now) husband. One was asking me for advice while the other was in another room, doing something else. I can't …

Why is she even staying. I get being in love or feeling obligated for the kids but what is this man child adding to her life at all? He's negative value. She'd be happier without him. A more peaceful life with more money and time.

This is what I think happens, too. I have a pretty good amount of girlfriends who tell me they originally try to tell the man, 'Keep doing what you're doing' then they ruin it by switching it up. Every. Single. Time. Despite bringing it up after, these LVM can not (lmao, let's be honest, WILL NOT) understand that a woman is different than them. Eventually, the same old story.. woman gives up on her own pleasure, still wants to bond w this scrote for whatever reason, so just gets it over with by …

Probably dehydration, tbh. We both drink pretty good amounts of water, especially in between drinks. Make sure to eat before or during drinks, too. Lifestyle may also play a part, I know when I've been eating healthier and maintaining a lot of physical activity, I can handle my drinks better.

Honestly, if he cancels, it may be awesome for you and your future. I couldn't imagine being with a 30 year old still getting hungover. Me and my husband love booze. We're custom building a wet bar for our cocktail porch, putting in a wine cellar, have so much expensive sipping liquor... Neither of us has had a hangover in over a decade. There really isn't an excuse to get that drunk.

Men are heavily influenced by other men. When vetting a man, always think about who influences them. Their fathers, uncles, friends, the coworkers they gravitate to and the media they consume will give you a pretty big look in to who he is in his core. If a man is surrounded by violent men, it WILL influence him.

I hate this. I would call, maybe try to figure out what women have the most authority and go to them. Even higher ups in the school board. In all honesty, I doubt they can even enforce this. Any boy can just say he was rejected by any girl at any time to get them banned.

NVM will take a weakness and exploit it any chance they get. I am so sorry he did that to you, and I hope now you're in a better place to find peace and heal.

It's hard to interject in these situations, because you risk putting yourself in danger. Honestly, I would have because I'm ~that~ kinda gal, but I would never let one of my friends if I couldn't guarantee her safety. I am NOT telling you not to approach creeps when they're harassing women, because I 100% think more people should, but just please think about your safety. Are there other people close by that can help you if you need it? Do you have a weapon if needed? Do you have an escape route?…

Tbh, I'd believe this conspiracy. Most women I know that were able to break free of men's hold are basically the most amazing, inspiring badasses I've ever met.

I mean how could you stay, with all that baggage? Couldn't be me, I'd dip the SECOND I was asked to stop only thinking about myself and have a scrap of human decency for a living, feeling, real live person who needs their partners help in their moment of need. 💃💃💃 < me and the girls dancing away from any scrote who dares go through a traumatizing situation.

Thank you!! And yes, absolutely great point!! Most men wouldn't act that way at work, yet do in their personal lives as if it's fine to be so disrespectful. Why put more effort in to your work life and coworkers than you'd ever be willing to in your home life and loved ones? Now that I think about it, don't they always complain about being boiled down to a paycheck? Interesting. 🤔

While I agree with other commenters who pointed out why some women would just roll over and deal with this (abuse/fear, financial dependence, brainwashed by society to think this is the way, etc) I also agree it's frustrating that even otherwise strong/independent women feel the need to pat men on the back for disappointing them. My go to response to 'but I would have!' Is a simple 'but you didn't.' I will never go further in to it. Any excuses or eventuallys fall on deaf ears, and the only resp…

This!! Statistically, they are likely abusers. (40% I think?) Even if they aren't an active abuser... a man with a gun, authority and potential power trip? I could never feel safe around that.

I am so sorry for your loss, this must have been horrible to hear when you were looking for a sympathetic ear. I hope a good gf or family member can offer it instead. I feel as if I JUST saw something on here about men seeing a woman in pain and trying to take advantage of the situation and if this isn't a perfect example of that.

And the fact that they were in a ziplock makes me feel like they came in a multi flavor bag that was picked clean of others. 😂 Gunna be honest, this gesture would insult me more than if I just got a bag of assorted halloween candy.

Yup! And they always seem to forget that they did it once that LVM leaves them broken and needs their strong 'friends' to help them get through it. I fell for this a LOT when I was younger, and watched so many girls cycle me through abuse when scrotes were involved and 'needing me' when they were inevitably hurt, but thankfully I don't have that sort of energy to expend on people who obviously don't care about me anymore.

It sounds like something my toddler nephew would do, tbh. "Sorry i messed up, here's the dessert my mommy packed in my lunchbox. They're all banana because I dont like those."

Beards that they're more proud of than their own children, and yet they've never spent a penny or a second to maintain. I've heard if you stand close enough to these losers, you can still smell the IPA that dribbled in to their chin hairs last week.

If I had to really go back and take a look at what men I've met that are douchebags compared to not.. I'd honestly say most fit men are nicer than the men with no sort of fitness routine at all. It doesn't even matter what it is, taking part in physical activity, eating right and maintaining routines/hobbies seems to make men more confident and less hostile. (In my experience, at least) The men he's referring to do really sound like roided narcs, but he's making it seem like there's no middle gr…

At the end, she mentions telling his parents. She is literally saying 'Don't make me call your mom and tell!!' It's hard for me to imagine him as anything more than a toddler she is babysitting.

This right here. I hate shaving certain parts because of how uncomfortable it can be in the long run. My underarms will break out if I shave them. Red, itchy, swollen follicles and ingrowns everywhere. Real funny you always see men complain about the one time they shaved something other than their face and how uncomfy it made them, but they suddenly forget when it comes to their partner not looking like a child for them.

The mental gymnastics this girl is doing just to say she doesn't feel deserving of a $30 meal for her time is... Sad.

Seriously. You absolutely know the woman had brought it up before that this was a boundary for her and he stomped all over it. Other women shouldn't encourage that and make any passing women think their feelings are wrong just because they couldn't stand the idea of some scrote seeing consequences to his actions. Also happy cake day!!

My husband is the BEST cook. He really, really takes joy in making me beautiful, high quality meals, not only for special days, but every single day I have any particular craving. Tomorrow he's going to make me Beef Wellington with roasted potatoes and asparagus. Chocolate fondue for dessert. He gets me gifts too, but it's always the food that is really special. I don't understand why men think we only want material things. Show me you care with your time and effort.
