It’s so easy to be attractive and a woman... like watch your diet and work on makeup skills. I know it’s a lot more complicated than that, I’m uneducated. But us guys seem much less picky than women. To be in good shape as a guy, I’ve got to work out at least once a day, eat a lot consciously. Staying groomed and making sure I don’t come off as a creep or self centered. Societal standards suck for men too, I’ve got some sexual trauma and other anxieties, but I don’t know who I can talk to about …

No I can’t imagine it is easy, nothing about life seems like it’s supposed to be, I think the RP gripe is that there are different standards for men and women. Women’s lib is fine and good, but most want/expect the rights of men, but with the handicap they had when men looked at them as if they had a lesser capability... idk if that makes sense.

I’m not saying you should! Nor should the guys post their version. It’s all relative, we either all need to laugh about our flaws or altogether stop. But if we did, a world without humor is pretty boring. On another note, you could probably make a meme of it and people would think it’s pretty funny. I’d laugh! If that guy really embraced his character he would laugh. The thing is, we can be insecure about our traits or we can laugh about them. I’m very thin and rep a mustache that makes me look …

That’s what I really struggle with. We want to have a discussion about it and when the discussion stops going their way they just leave. Nothing can get figured out if we don’t talk through it. Hate saying you are right, cause it makes me sad about the state our society is in, but you are right. Thanks for responding

I truly applaud you on your virginity and your decision, it’s really a good idea. My discussion point was on the origin of the toxicity of these men why their behavior comes out that way. Just as I’m sure you wouldn’t want to date a 300lb 40yo who has no life ambitions beyond working at GameStop, there are unattractive traits in women. Having a child and being single is hard because that brings baggage into the relationship. I have a couple single mother friends that are very beautiful and reall…

Yeah, you already seem to have a lot of problems with men. Should have checked your profile before commenting. I wish you luck in your search for whatever you are looking for. You did not post here for a debate, more to complain. Remember, this is the internet and we will not all coddle you and your beliefs. Props to your virginity, that means nothing, you can still have a meaningful connection with someone without sex.

There’s probably a lot of guys who have been wounded in the past and this is their way of coping with it. Unhealthy, yes, but just an idea of a reason for the vitriol. Guys are hardwired to think about procreation, and when someone has dedicated their lives to video games and Cheetos, they aren’t gonna be able to find any ladies that want to be with them. Probably leads them to an existential crisis, and their flaw is blaming society rather than themselves. Think about the last time you were hea…

It’s a choice. If you choose to make your life more difficult, don’t complain about the consequences of your actions. Having children can really help you out down the line, they can take care of you when you get older. They can love you when you are having a hard time. What about women who are barren? They could make the same argument to mothers saying fuck off complaining about how hard your life is cause they can’t have a child. Since they can’t be stay at home mothers maybe they are stuck wor…

I know I’m about half your age, but I think a major part of TRP included more than just chasing tail. Yes the individual is the main focus, but imparting the wisdom is how ideologies are formed. I think a major takeaway is to make sure we raise our children right. Instead of letting our young men turn into limp wristed SJW white knights, they can be raised to use their strengths. Stoicism, all that stuff. Women aren’t the focus of the world. He has two teenage children, on mobile so I can reread…

What’s a shame is, you know as soon as she gets out she will view herself as this martyr, and a victim. She will never see how any of what she did was wrong, just that she got caught.

Seriously this.. I came to TRP three(?) years ago still in a relationship, I had to let my failing LTR crash and burn before I could really accept TRP. I thought I was special, I wasn’t. Monk mode was crucial I feel like most of the posts are people wanting to have someone affirm that their failing relationship isn’t failing (it is).

Well after we lost the original TRP sub, I don’t really blame new guys for not knowing everything. I really blame reddit for this. There is something to be said about an individual pulling themselves up on their own, but it really seems like a stacked societal game against men/masculinity. I know there is a sidebar, but it took me awhile to fully accept TRP and swallow the pill back when we had the original sub and more resources. It took me months to fully accept TRP, so now you have a beta in …

This. Progestin also is the happy, sleepy, socializing hormone. At least IIRC. Can’t remember estrogen I know this is a bit unconventional, but if you look at transgender forums, they have a lot of anecdotal evidence on all the different hormones they take. Birth control is more psychological, it allows women to go humpin what they want without needing the commitment in case they get pregnant. Arguably, state programs supporting single mothers also encourages this. Same as the social climate cel…

When I first read TRP I was pissed. But I was a beta provider guy and I was being shown the light all at once. We don’t like change, we don’t like being shown the truth. Beta providers will be pissed because they are used to their sad status quo of providing for intermittent sex. Progressive women hate it cause TRP shines the light on their manipulation tactics. It’s like the cave, people are used to watching the same story and when you show them something different they hate it, even if it is t…

He could be moving that direction, but I really see his point. I used to put women on a pedestal and appreciated all aspects of them. After swallowing the pill I see the other sides of women. Most of them are messy and unorganized, I’m 24 so it could be that they are still young. They are immature and the constant attempts at manipulation are annoying. It’s fun building up the tension and having sex, but then I have to have them around for the rest of the night. After sex they usually want to ta…

I never claimed anything, those are my subjective beliefs and should be taken with a grain of salt as well. Now I don’t believe today’s stay at home mothers are doing it right, and I do not have a solution. Back in the day there were many tasks that stay at home mothers had to do, making it a very big job in itself. Today take out food as well as washing machines and other technologies make the ‘stay at home mom’ job a lot easier, resulting in boredom. Now bored mom gets on Instagram and compare…

I believe this is the case. I do agree with TRP and how the feminist movement might have something to do with the decrease in happiness. I also really believe that social media has had a major impact on happiness. Constant connectedness and positive feedback loops, we were never designed to be rewarded so often. OPs post was a subjective observation, and as such, should only be taken with a grain of salt.

While I’m not totally MGTOW myself, I get a lot of what they have to say. I believe I have a pretty high SMV (approached by women, get compliments often, if I go out I can usually bring someone back if I want, etc.), I just hate dealing with them afterwards. The double standards, the expectation to commit, the rationalization hamster, it irritates the hell out of me. Random hookups are just hookups not something bigger. It’s just not worth the frustration, I’m much better off being productive th…

Idk how relevant this is but I’ll put in my .02. ‘Character’ as you say it is a construct, meanings that it is a concept based off of smaller less complex concepts. So your use of character is a very broad concept that could be broken down in many ways. But my argument is that the more we understand social psychology, the more we are finding that personality is formed by social interactions via positive and negative reinforcement and some punishment. Meaning that these incels are more products o…

I know in my state there is a program for teaching degrees that pays off all of your student debt if you teach for 4 years in a low income area. Idk if that is common throughout the states though. Had a couple friends do that.

Oh wow, I can relate to pretty much all of this, kinda crazy. Kinda floated around socially until my junior year at college then things peaked and I ghosted everyone and took a year off school. Fast forward a year and I'm still in monk mode, and haven't stepped out yet. No words of advice since I haven't started yet, but it was cool to hear a similar story to mine.

The cognitive dissonance is insane mi amigo. Everything I grew up with is so fucked. My childhood perception of the world is flawed and my adult understanding is good. Sex is easy, I can get that. Getting the fuck out after we have sex is where I start to run into problems. Thank you for the response, it did help me open my eyes to the situation. I realize that this is probably some childhood issue and I love MGTOW, is there a point of no return? Jesus... if you are a dude you really need some help. Any dude that still claims to be a 'feminist' is so cucked. There is nothing for women to advocate for now that 'sexual discrimination' is pretty much non existent, so now they settle for total emasculation of men. Have you not thought it odd that while they scream about your male privilege, these women are trying to be warriors? Marriage used to be a mutual agreement, not some ridiculous prison you would like to imagine.

Whenever someone starts with 'No offense', you can almost guarantee that it will be slightly offensive. If you think you are so high and mighty, why are you even on this sub? I just don't get the point of your response. The only reason you would respond about how you were better than others on this sub would be due to a insecurity. So to me, all I see is someone trying to jerk off or nurse their ego. I just don't get it.

The constant judging of feminists and MRAs shows a lack of emotional intelligence. Having a problem with anyone is a resistance to change or social deviance, which is a form of intolerance. MRAs get pissed when they see a lack of equality within the sexes and it causes resentment of women. Feminists get pissed when they see a lack of equality, which in turn causes resentment of men. Blacks become resentful when they see racism, or a lack of equality. That tweet is very broad and I don't think it…

Yeah but, as a society in the US, there is a social stigma of being less than if you do not have a degree. This is a completely fucked mentality since you can't have a society that is completely white collar. Most women suck in positions of power in my experience anyways. The only ones that I actually thought were good at managing had dedicated their lives to that career and had completely catatonic social and family lives.

I do not believe this...? I have a highly successful aunt who was perfectly happy, totally retired and spends all her time traveling and scuba diving with her friends she did this till she was like 80 something too. Kinda disagree, women throw shit tests like no other. Gays will fail the small ones maybe, but when the woman tries to use the ultimate shit test with sexual passes and ultimately gets shut down that will turn her on. The woman artificially thinks she has they gay man and when she tries to sink the hook in, he will turn her down. This will make him even more attractive to her.

Ann Coulter is still attractive and is taking care of herself. Most of these post wall cat lady feminists are just as bitter, if not more bitter than some in the manosphere. Ann Coulter is what feminism should stand for, she worked hard and built a reputation and accepted that she would not have children. She was successful, little girls should look up to her. Now these bitter post wall women are fighting for anything they can get because, 1 they have no SMV to 99% of the population, 2 they can …

Yes I agree, if both man and woman have a healthy emotional intelligence then it is all good. But if the woman has absorbed the modern takes on romanticism the relationship will ultimately be terrible for the man. The man will be the submissive dog while the woman will be the feline prowess marching to the false song of feminism. While the man is trying to earn the affection of the woman, she will fight him for her 'individuality' and 'sexual freedom'. By fighting for a dominant female and submi…

I feel like The Red Pill is to help those who were not raised correctly. I sure as hell was not. It helped me realize what was true and what was false. TRP should be taken as a grain of salt, don't take the whole thing. Women and men have different goals, so by polarizing this and shattering past false beliefs it is what the TRP theory is. Chemistry between men and women exists, but it is not for romantic reasons. It is merely for procreation. Romantic ideals have been ingrained into us from bir…

Romance was developed by an idealistic idiot know as Shakespeare in the 1600s. Since then it has been lovingly embraced by women and pushed into men subconsciously. The idea of romance is really toxic because it perpetually causes the man to bend over backwards for the woman, while building excessive expectations for the woman. It still exists, but hopefully people start to realize that it is not conducive to building a healthy relationship.

I don't agree with the victimhood and linking us to Tumblr. While there is a short bitter phase of acceptance, trp is all about doing something about it. Trp encourages active learning and self improvement, it is about getting away from negative habits and replacing them with positive ones. It is about challenging yourself to become a better more outgoing man. I disagree with the comment about shame in women liking Chad. If a chick says that She thinks a Chad is hot, then all the girls will agree or discuss. Golden, I have had several relationships with high n-women and it is imperative to know that they will hop on the next cock that they think is better as soon as they get a chance. This is a great post, I think that many people don't realize that social media has become a narcissistic tool for self promotion. That isn't a bad thing, what makes it bad is when we get in a constant dick measuring contest with everyone in our feed and devote all our time to outdoing our peers.

I have to slightly disagree, in your comment you make it sound like only 40 year olds can be totally destroyed. I found myself totally destroyed a year ago in a similar position this man was in. Several months later made an attempt on my life, luckily the next morning I didn't pass away after I woke up in a pool of my own blood and I realized how rigged the game was after finding TRP.
