This thread makes me happy that I'm not the only one dealing with this struggle.

I can't even fake interest in girls i'm not attracted to... unless i'm drunk.

Do you think that is a reasonable excuse? I mean I live about 40 minutes on a good night from the overpopulated city, and I tell myself no girl I pick up is going to want to drive 40 minutes back to my place. The bars around my city are pretty small and usually filled with old people, or maybe just the ones I go too.

I really wish I had the balls to respond this way. Don't know why I continue to have a relationship with someone who wants to have sex with other people :(

I've had the same thing happen to me before plenty of times. I'll get a girls number and we seem to hit things off well, but then she just stops texting me. You're not the only one experiencing this. Don't have any advice for you besides try again with a different woman bro

Agreed, I wouldn't bother with a hostess because she would get that from everyone all the time and I wouldn't know how to be different in a positive way

You'd never date someone of another race? or is this a joke, I honestly can't tell

yeah, you can rationalize the fear but that doesn't mean it's not still there.

I've been wondering about going out solo as well. I think I will try it as soon as I can, but my biggest hurdle is what do I say after I say hi.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
