being short and average looking is a killer for guys. but, you should be able to get some women with all those good qualities!

Exactly. Attractive men will look for everything in a woman, but looks are foremost. Attractive women will look for everything in a man, with looks and personality equally important.

So many defensive people of both sexes in the comments. Men have lower standards for physical attractiveness. And yet, men care more about looks than women. Thus, bad-looking women can't do as much to improve their attractiveness as bad-looking men. But they are both fighting an uphill battle. People should stop complaining about unfairness and instead start making themselves as attractive as possible and improving themselves.

Comment chain got deleted, so I’m putting this here. Truth is, almost no women want a weak man. This is programmed evolutionarily into the selective criteria of women. And I don’t mean weak in the sense that they’re not allowed to have emotions or show distress. But it’s about their whole personality. A man who is constantly complaining about and blaming women instead of improving themselves is not going to appear attractive or have good relationships. These men who have become resentful of wome…

Agree with you here. There are a lot of guys basically saying women are trash on this thread, but in the spirit of this sub, I’d say both sexes are trash, and in different natural ways, which causes a lot of tension between the sexes.

So how does a woman become more fertile looking?

You don't need social media, just ask if you can get her number. After talking to her a bit in the gym tomorrow you can say hey it's awesome talking to you, I need to finish my routine but we could arrange something later, can I get your number? Plain, plain sailing from there brother. Good luck and I'm excited for you.

I also prefer quality over quantity, thing is I have no prospects so it doesn't really make a difference

It's a lot easier to talk to girls if they're more likely to be attracted to you. They will be more happy to talk to you. Putting effort into your appearance often implies good things about yourself too.

Yeah sure. Exercising and working out is always a good idea.

Yes. Girls don't put as much weighting on looks as guys but that's not to say it's not there. Being more physically attractive will also make you more confident, which is what girls rate as the most attractive aspect of a guy. So you could say looks directly matter a little bit, but indirectly matter a lot.

Can you approach a girl without talking... just make eye contact and smile? I heard that going "100%" non-verbal is a good way to develop strong body language... Unfortunately this is difficult for me since I'm blind and can't tell if I'm actually looking her in the eye or not. ⠺⠗⠊⠞⠞⠑⠝ ⠺⠊⠞⠓ ⠃⠗⠊⠁⠇⠇⠑

"Excuse me (shy pause)......I'm sorry, you looked cute and I just had to talk to you. What's your name?" sounds pretty good to start off with!

I know I get downvoted again, but I think having bad experiences with bad women is inevitable, even necessary, to allow you to value good women with good values and hearts. Most people in the sub are disillusioned that the women they've met are all lying double-standard backstabbers - yes they exist - but good, kind women exist too, and you have to find them and keep them close.

I think this is just disillusionment... There are plenty of decent human beings male and female alike.

Yes, well it's very regrettable if it is that high a percentage. I'd like to think people could surround themselves with women who weren't all, for lack of a better word, snakes. But maybe I haven't experienced the phenomenon enough yet.

I know this is TRP and all but maybe don't generalise for all women what the worst women are like. Not every woman is terrible like that, you just have to find the right ones.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
