Never said it wasn’t wrong. I wasn’t a kid.

I definitely realize how big the maturity gap can be. I’m saying it wasn’t that big. I have no need to continue talking to you about it, friendo. I’ve made my peace and come to understand it through a more nuanced lens, and eventually you’ll learn to view life through a similar lens. Or you won’t. Either way, have a good night. 🙏

She never told me I was mature for my age, nor tried to groom me. Is she a terrible person? No. Did she make a mistake? Yes. Was I groomed? Definitely not. I’ve had a lot of time to look back on it, as well as a lot of introspection and therapy to work on really understanding it. I’m sorry that you live in such a black and white world, but if you won’t listen to the person it actually happened to, why bother even having an opinion on it at all?

Correct. They can’t consent. It was, by definition, rape.

Because I was post-pubescent, I had developed early, and I appeared and acted more closely to her age. It was more like a 16 and a 19 year old sleeping together.

I lost my virginity at 13 to a 19 year old. I’m 26 now and I’ve never felt taken advantage of, or otherwise negatively influenced from it. Legally raped? Yeah, I was. Physically/emotionally/mentally? No.

Nobody said they weren't, friend. What people are saying is that women are physiologically weaker than men, and if the standards have to be lowered or changed in order for women to become firefighters, then that is a problem for everyone who calls 911, and for her fellow firefighters. I also think you have a gross misunderstanding of just how difficult it is to drag 150lbs+ of oddly distributed, occasionally violent, weight. Especially with 60lbs+ of gear on, in a building on fire, with a mask c…

A few different folks are copy pasting this. They're just contrarians.

Good for you man. Don't often hear about divorcees getting back together, kudos on y'all working whatever it was out.

Wait, seriously? I picked some of the most prolific events of the past decade and you need me to cite sources?

I mean, that’s not really true. It’s more like 80% probably. You’ve got the south that still tries to actively fuck over black voters, the southwest that actively racially profile Hispanics and those with brown skin, and you’ve got the Midwest/Bible Belt that still seems to have an issue with not shooting black folk. Even in the Pacific Northwest, smaller towns like Roseburg (correct me if I’m wrong, someone) in Oregon put up a giant sign where Obama was being lynched just a few years ago, IIRC.…

I wouldn’t even bother, judging by his word vomit comment, he’s probably not the best critical thinker.

They're not talking about the videographer. They're talking about the 3rd guy who asks her to leave and I think flips her food. He's either Hispanic or middle eastern it looked like.

Why's that hyper-unlikely? Not defending either party but why're you so quick to write off what she's saying? If she had actually been able to do anything to him, and this video had been posted in justiceserved with the title "Girl goes after man twice her size who molested her brother." Everyone would be circlejerking each other about how awesome she is. Let's stay impartial, right? Otherwise I agree. If that happened, call the cops. Don't go after someone twice your size.

"My under arrest for assault and battery what, officer?" THIS IS WHAT A POLICE STATE LOOKS LIKE!

It seems like both of them are lying. Like a commenter said already, this doesn't belong here. It's just got a MensRights buzzword (Schumers name) so it's being shot to the top.

I'm fairly sure he didn't deny any of it. He also referred to her as "his celebrity."

That's fine and all, but that isn't part of the discussion. It doesn't mean that we should be cherry picking dumb, skewed shit like that. The post is about mocking feminazis, but putting in dumb pie charts saying the majority of deaths in combat are male is friggin' dumb because it's the same things that the Tumblrina's and the Feminazis do. They pick things that are skewed and use them in their arguments. That's makes us no better. Just another extremist rights group.

The first two on the left are sort of bullshit though. Of course male deaths in combat are going to be higher, 99% of people who see combat are male. And way more men work factory jobs than women, so it's skewed too. I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just saying why use skewed samples for this kind of a thing when there are plenty of other things to use where there are an equal amount of men and women? Like someone said cancer rates. That's one. And don't down vote me just because it goes against t…

I meant what does FGM mean.. And people are free to make their own decisions. Parents make decisions for their children. We just have to deal and make the decisions we feel is right. The United States was formed with the belief that anyone is free to make their own decisions, regardless of the public opinion of it. Yes, I do think they're free to make that choice, because if they aren't then people like you have no more of a right to make a decision for your children. Whether or not it's accepta…

What does that mean?
/r/MensRights18/03/15 06:15 AM

I'm not saying that that's how it should be. I'm saying that's my opinion, and people should have the choice to do that or not. Parents are allowed to make decisions for most everything when it comes to children, and this is no different. It doesn't hurt anyone, it's just an aesthetic choice.

To be fair, I'm super glad that I was circumcised. It looks fucking disgusting to me, it just looks animalistic.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
