The reason that being honest (and therefore open and vulnerable to another person) is attractive is because you have to be confident to do it. You have to have a strong unwavering identity. That means that you're happy with yourself regardless of what happens with someone else. You're guarding yourself by purposely cutting these girls out of your life when they start to get close. This is the opposite of models. Go back and reread the book and practice. It takes time.

Frat parties tend to be easier than clubs. If you're pulling from LA clubs for example, then a frat party is going to be cake. I hate saying this, but from my experience meeting women in college is easy in comparison to anywhere else. While I like your spirit, be careful about falling into outcome dependence. I say, go the the mall and approach twenty women regardless of what happens. Call it a day after twenty or thirty regardless of outcome. Approach a lone is something to be proud of. The minute you make the exchange about the outcome, you set yourself up for failure.

If there's something in that relationship that makes you feel like shit, then maybe its time to end that relationship. Rationalizing it is a big mistake. Too often we guys try to use logic and reason to make decisions without ever consulting our feelings. I've heard differently. IIRC there was a study posted on here about six months ago that basically concluded that women are looked at by both men and women as a collection individual parts, while men were looked at by both men and women as a whole person.
