I remember reading in history class about men who went to war to get pussy because they weren’t getting any pussy before. So it depends on your philosophy and definition of the word and concept of “reason.” What is “reasonable”?

u/CimZim - Key point here is that you asked “8 of your guy-friends this question.” ^ Since we are who we associate with, and we tend to associate with people who think like we do, your asking 8 of your guy-friends is a biased sampling inside of a echo-chamber vacuum, being made up of people who think like you do.

I will add a caveat to what u/Sharp_Slide6806 said: Long Distance Relationships are very difficult (speaking from experience); So don’t fly to potential lovers until you have developed a close relationship, perhaps over some time.

Have at least one psilocybin (mushroom) trip of at least 1 to 2 grams. It will break down your ego while you’re on the trip and when you come back out of the trip, you will look at the world in a new and expanded light. It helped me.

It might be real. Would be very sad if it is real. But I have seen worse out there in the flesh before from women, so it is possibly a real woman’s account.

When considering which machine to use to impress a girl at the gym and to get to know her, I always suggest spending the most time at the machine outside of the gym, called the ATM. That is a woman’s favorite machine.

Honestly, I would absolutely 100% rather spend time with a fat woman with some personality than with this skinny entitled headache of a woman.

The late comedian Patrice O’neal had a comedy bit about this too.

Your past piece of real-world experience with your date last Friday is impressive. Also something I would like to do with a woman is to have her join me in places around town. In time, it will happen if I keep working at these things.

u/mantapacktribe - I think you’re right man; I think I struggle with my creative side when it comes to conversation and need to develop that. I did used to be a photographer hobbyist years ago from 2011 to 2014, when I was traveling to a lot of different places for my jobs in sales. Although I have not put much effort into photography since then (as I’ve taken on other hobbies since then), my pictures are still online, including on Instagram, so I could always encourage her to check out my photo…

Because I have found it to be less intense for women to move the conversation slowly, instead of startling them by asking for a phone number or an in-person date right away. (But perhaps that is my mistake.)

^ That’s actually a really good point that I and others often overlook; I agree, I do need to spend some more time getting some fresh quality pictures taken and post them.

I agree with you to a point; By some women’s own personal testimonies and comments which I have read, that is the case, that some women look past the potential man’s few sentences in their description due to over-stimulation and over-saturation of plenty of other profiles. But what if your descriptions highlight aspects of your personality well, such as some significant things in your life? (such as writing that you are a mechanical engineer, or that you are a licensed ski instructor, or that yo…

You’ve been on quite the journey @Graineon. Very deeply written and described. Thank you for sharing part of your experience with us and taking us through some of the epiphanies and wisdom you’ve gained.

That is possible; It is definitely a different type of challenge and a different set of expectations which I have found with younger women vs older women.

@Sad_Top1743 - I would not say that I just got with them “for experience” alone. I wanted it to become a long-term relationship with both of them given certain expectations I had, but that was not meant to be. It’s a bit of a long and complicated story with both of them. Physical distance (living in different states as our permanent residences, and us meeting up in the same state temporarily when we became more intimate sexually) was the situation with both of them during two different years. Bu…

I’m 32 years old here in America, and I have personally experienced the most revelations and growth through my (mostly healthy) interactions with older women {who are not my mother}. I honestly believe that one of the keys for younger struggling depressed men is to seek attention from older women and to be given attention back in return.

And that is the direction which society is moving into, with things like Alternative Touch Therapy, deep massage connections, and websites and organizations like CuddleComfort.
