OYS #8 Back from a third rule 9 ban STATS Age 28 Height 180cm weight 74,5kg, BF 17% navy (neck 37cm, waist 85cm) + visual estimate. Wife is 27. Together 10 years, married 6. No kids yet but she's pregnant 17th week through IVF egg donation. LIFTING SQ 0, BP 50kg/110lbs x11, BR 40kg/90lbs x10, OHP 30kg/66lbs x6, DL 60kg/130lbs x10. THE BAD: - I might've ruined my knee again. I had an unhappy triad knee injury 18 months ago and had a meniscus repair surgery 12 months ago. Ran 10k and pushed myself…

Watch Rian Stone on youtube. He has walkthroughs of most of the books from the sidebar. The ones on WISNIFG helped me a lot. It's only a supplement to reading the books but it might keep you from having to read the books more than twice.

Thank you. I'll look GSLP up and maybe give it a go! Trying to keep it simple as I have a tendency to over complicate stuff. I've just started to film myself the last workouts but watching other people getting corrected is a great thing I should've done earlier.

OYS #7 What if I fail? Good. Then I can learn from it. STATS Age 28 Height 180cm weight 74,5kg, BF 17% navy (neck 37cm, waist 85cm) + visual estimate. Wife is 27. Together 10 years, married 6. That sounds like a great enhancement to pull out when SL gets boring! I'll give it a go. It's not muscle soreness, more like pain but it could just be my shoulders reacting to all these exercises I haven't done for 10 years. I have an office job and got pain in my shoulders the past 3 months. It got better after using trx band and now lifting weights but it's back again now.. The piv thing is a fucken a great idea. It's just as Jordan Peterson says, we all know what we have to do to get better. …

You do not flirt with staff in front of your wife. They're paid to be nice to you. That's a display of low value. A high value display would've been the waitress flirted with you.

Please critique me on this but isn't resorting to violence the greatest sign of lost frame? You deal with boundaries by pulling attention, affection and commitment. Remove yourself AND YOUR KID from the situation with a simple statement that you won't tolerate violence.

(my boss works probably 14-16 hours/day through the week, and then some on weekends). Do you want to be a plow horse? Are you getting validation from how much money you make?

Yeah I went through the text several times removing most of the future tense. I'm not sure how to mark a goal to follow up on next week without the shoulds and needs. You're welcome, it's the greatest honor for a besserwisser.

OYS #6 Zero excuses STATS Age 28 Height 180cm weight 74,5kg, BF 17% navy (neck 37cm, waist 85cm) + visual estimate. Wife is 27. Together 10 years, married 6. Yeah that caught up with me earlier actually... Moronic. You're absolutely right. I'm excusing myself to a stranger on the internet who really don't give a shit, that's how strong my DEER is. I haven't been owning my choices. I have used excuses to limit myself instead of pushing through difficulties. I should embrace failure and learn from it. I also need to stop writing in future tense.

That was embarassing. An oys just filled with DEERing. Yeah I'm high on the negative emotion trait. I tried once or twice and then have up from rock hard no's. The piv sex thing is medical (vagitorial medicine several times a day so it's full of it all the time) but the rest is spot on. Yeah she's really hot on revenge tactics during conversation but I have been worse at it earlier in our relationship so she probably got it from me when I used to argue everything with her. I 80% would've got the…

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I have been apathetic for 6-7 years and things will get worse before they get any better. Boundaries and assertiveness was news to me when I got here and I just started to figure out my own set. I've been thinking about using some kind of mantra to snap me out of this overly empathic state. Something like "she wont leave me if she's mad" or "her feelings should not be driving the ship" or "I am more important than her feelings". I had no idea that I used th…

I used to care to much but I'm overthinking this so much that I've basically pulled a lot of my beta behaviours without replacing them with anything good. She needs the comfort now and I've removed a lot of it thinking it's alpha when necessarily isn't. I have to be beta and sprinkle some alpha (MRPlite). What about shit tests and comfort tests? They're an important part of not being unattractive but it includes sparring with her. I see them all as a chance for me to test out what I've learned b…

I noticed more women being nervous/clumsy or fiddling with their hair when I'm around or getting service from them. That's a bit of a boost for me, even if it's all in my head. One thought that I think will help me through the oneitis is "What the fuck am I getting out of this marriage? I was a good beta provider bit didn't get anything in return". I couldn't hold the boundaries for longer than a couple of hours but it's waaay better than it used to be. Now I know what my assertive rights are I …

F/R - I have to write it down so I know how not to act next time TLDR: I agree that we should isolate after the 20th week but I still allowed myself to get manipulated into giving her the final say in what we do regardless of how the covid situation is. I hadn't been tested all week (maybe a minor one which I passed) so I knew shit be brewing and I was right. It started around bed time (it's ALWAYS on bedtime no fucken idea why). I want to thank you for taking your time to respond to my post. I probably won't understand it all until I'm further down the line but then this is going to be golden. That sounds like a great agreement. That's exactly how our lives are. She barely has any hobbies but I had lots of things to leave the house for before I injured my knee and wrist in a soccer game. I was basically home all the time after that barely getting out so that's what she's used to know. I want to ramp it up again but I'm …

You're both terrified of the other leaving. Her because of the baby. You because you're a baby. Absolutely true. That's where my anxiety comes from when arguing. I'm afraid that she'll leave me if she's not happy all the time. It's been such a huge relief that her behaviour is better when I pass a shit/comfort test than when I give in to her feelz. MRPlite sounds like the right path now. I'm going to dial down it all a bit and increase it every week instead. I thought that was what I did when I …

The laughing part or the increasing stakes? The only thing I've tried that stopped the laughing is to raise my voice and tell her how fucken stupid her problem is and that she's overreacting. That's really not helping since I know the current problem isn't the main issue. Regarding the raising stakes problem I shat the bed a bit since I should've just STFU and remove myself completely from the house. Why do I have to be such a retard

Thanks a lot for your comment. I really wish my father would've told me this. "A woman will fall for you for who you are. Then try to change you into who she wants' you to be. Don't let her." It seems like you're doing a great job as a father.

Try some mindfulness or guided meditation. It helped me with my concentration issue (also quite certain I've got add). "Waking up" is a program by Sam Harris which takes a more scientific approach to it rather than the hippie shit it is anywhere else. Just 10 minutes a day will do wonders.
