A thought comes. Observe it, acknowledge it. Then let it pass by without judgement and refocus on your breath. At first it's a flurry of thoughts, but over time they will come less often. Eventually you'll know your quiet awareness.

I don't fully understand, but I'd like to. I agree with a lot of what you're saying. I think life has no meaning other than the meanings humans decide to derive, and even that meaning is tenuous and unreliable.
