Sounds like a nightmare to manage. I don’t think tax dollars are well spent micro managing every nickel and dime that poor people spend, just to make extra sure that not a dollar is misspent. SNAP food benefit recipients are limited to purchasing certain types of food using state money and this is enforced with simple software and being forced to use a state-provided card with the funds on it, this is already available and would be simple to adapt to child support. I bet with a bit of sleuthing you would be able to find that she has claimed she has been raped before, probably more than once. And I bet there were a bunch of reasons she didn't report etc (because she wasn't dumb enough to try and lie) and or she did the report and it was thrown out for lack of merit. Thank you, we aren't stopping our fight, it is just getting harder but we will persevere. I will hug my boy again soon. I know it. I was in the garage this evening and came across his bokken, I picked it up to move it and just broke down crying. I was in the middle of teaching him how to use it and we were working on boxing and ju-jitsu. And now he is in a damn prison basically. My son was falsely accused by a girl. He is currently locked up after taking a plea deal so the police would stop arresting me falsely, stop going after his sisters falsely and so we would stop hemorrhaging cash on lawyers. You won't see that. My son was accused of rape. We have physical proof the accusations are false. After 2.5 years of back and forth, they started to go after his sisters and we got a copy of an email between his court-appointed lawyer and the prosecution conspiring to go after my daughters, that's when my son said fuck this and took a plea deal on the grounds that they would stop harassing his family. We are still trying to fight it, but we ran out of money, and that's what these cases come down…
