I recommend heading to a cheaper or secondhand clothing store and adding to your "house clothes". I usually get a few comfy dresses/ skirts, soft sweaters, tunics, and leggings. I prefer to shop at stores like Marhsalls, TJ Maxx, Gabes, Ross, or Saks off 5th. I have found so many wonderful dresses there for very affordable prices. I think an important thing that is missing in this post is presentation. Some of the previous posts state annoyance when a woman starts off with "I've won XYZ awards" or "I got a PhD in XYZ or Law degree from Such and Such University" and these people can come off as a braggart. Yeah, my optometrist said that if they did lasik my eyes would collapse (Yikes!!), which is a shame because my prescription has been stable for years. My current glasses lenses are rectangular and that hides the thickness somewhat but I only wear them around the house anyways. I am legally blind without corrective lenses so I'm technically disabled. I think you nailed it! I get yelled at by my family for choosing to pursue a STEM PhD despite being in a happy, stable marriage then get shamed at work for voicing that I would like to teach instead of doing high powered research so I could be involved with my family if I have kids. Yeah, first looks can definitely save time between ceremony and reception since you get a lot of pictures done beforehand but we wanted to do it the old fashioned way. My Dad said when he saw how happy we were to see each other any sadness he felt about giving away his daughter was replaced with joy! I wish you the best of luck in your wedding planning. That's because WHR and waist circumference is very important in not only fertility but overall health. We have been learning in class that many obesity studies are receiving flak from publishers since they only include BMI as an indicator of obesity. WHR is a better choice since body type and where you gain weight is a much more important parameter than how much you weigh for your height.
