Men get told to suck it up most of their life, so when women ask them to be vulnerable it’s pretty hard to do. It's not just pretty hard, it can actually have consequences... I would say the last option. It might be the sacrifice you have to make to have a truly meaningful connection.

I see more women collectively asking for men to be vulnerable than not. I won’t lie and pretend I’ve never lost attraction to a man after he’s been vulnerable, but he was also crying over something stupid. I respect your honesty but deciding what he's supposed to be vulnerable about and what shouldn't matter. That's part of being allowed to be vulnerable. I understand that attraction isn't rational or something you choose./can control. But if you know a man opening up to you isn't something you …

I'm just talking about the railways. I have no insight into other industries but a country as capitalist as the US will never be able to build and maintain a large and complex infrastructure as a national railway. Even with their car addiction, you would at least think they would be able to maintain their own roads. But compared to most Western countries they're in pretty bad shape.

It doesn't work with railways tho because it's hard to make a profit. Most European countries will subsidize them because the indirect benefits for their society and economy are huge.

Although this is true... I've heard men in my generation and older say if a guy thinks another guy is attractive objectively, that guy must be gay. This is certainly not So men your generation have been socialized not to notice or be totally clueless about other men's attractiveness. Men are fully aware of who "gets the ladies" and who the ugly guy is. They will not make a science out of it as teen girl magazines do, but they know. Every guy who goes out with his friends will get feedback from t…

Let's just say from my experience, if I want to become more noticeable to women, I know I have to lower my body fat percentage so my jawline and cheekbones for example become more prominent (besides having a nice haircut, being well-dressed, and groomed). But the feedback I got from women throughout my life has mostly been positive. It formed my personality in such a way that being objectively less attractive now doesn't affect my confidence that much when socializing with women.

I have it the other way around. I used to be fit and toned but since the epidemic, I stopped working out and gained some weight. I live in a reasonably cold country so with clothes on you can't really see the difference in my body. But I did lose my jawline and my face overall became more fluffy. I notice the glances I used to get from women decreased and when I do catch them looking they break eye contact, while before that was definitely not the case.

but I'm not going to date anyone shorter. Women shoes often have heels and I don't want to look like a mommy next to my boyfriend. You can also make your point without insulting people, you know.

Bad Gripp, no rhythm, not wet enough, forgets the balls, no variation (the equivalent of what women call jackhammering), not aware of the sensitive spots, lack enthusiasm, no stamina to name a few. Blowjobs, same thing. It´s rare to find women who are actually good. But most men get off anyway so why bother.

That's actually true. If there's one thing they hate more than men...

You have to see it through the perspective of a man to understand this. Men do see her bisexuality as real, but they don't feel their masculinity is threatened by it. Sex is very important to men and they know another woman will never be able to give the same sex, not saying better or worse but different, as a man can. Let alone impregnate her. Women probably don't even care about that but for men (and their masculinity) it is important. So women might perceive it as not seeing their bisexuality…

So? Women in general are objectified/fetishized by a lot of men (which is disgusting) , I don't see anything new here?

It's not misleading, you're changing the subject. Homophobia is far more expressed by men, that's true. But in the dating scene, most straight men have no problem with their partner being bisexual (even if it will never benefit them sexually, they are ok with that). But a lot of women find the idea that their man had sex/ loves another man disgusting, and therefore will not date bisexual men. It's a common problem among bisexual men.

You're right about straight men being more hateful about other sexualities, in general. But let's not dodge the fact that in the dating scene, straight women are A LOT more biphobic than straight men are.

This. I agree on an introductory session not being as romantic as a date. But I never understood the American culture of dating where you have to impress a person you barely know (assuming you met them online) with a creative and expensive date. It's just too much waste of time and money if you have to go through x amount of dates to see who you actually like. I have no problem putting a lot of effort into dating someone, but only AFTER I know we're compatible and comfortable with each other. An…

There are high school kids in third-world countries right now making hundreds to thousands of dollars a month trading crypto. You want to learn a new skill? Want to find peers where you can learn from? You're lucky, it's 2021 and there's the internet. And its free. I'm not saying it's easy, I'm just saying the possibilities are endless.

Hey, whatever turns your crank, I'm not in it to win or lose. If I'm going into a discussion I either look for other people's perspectives or to see if my own views are outdated. I saw your comment history and have no desire to learn from you

Dutch here, There's a dating show called "First Dates". If you're not familiar, it's a show where 2 people go on a blind date by having dinner together. When the bill comes one of the next things happens; - 80% Man initiates to pay the bill (probably gender roles), the woman offers to pay her share, the man says no, the woman thanks him for dinner. -15% They split the bill. Mostly because she did not like him, or because she thinks "the idea men should pay" sucks. -5% Woman pays. Usually, older …
