i think you can make a decent argument without resorting to sexist language. it's like saying 'inner city urban areas need to focus more on education. it's sad that niggers face a lot of socio-economic injustice and it only operates to keep them down and reinforce what everyone knows is bad behavior.' like, jeez.

I agree with you in part that raising hell as the privileged sex is overkill but there are legit complaints about gender roles and norms. I think MRA fails when it doesn't recognize that these norms are a consequence of the patriarchy. It also doesn't help that this amounts to a boy's club asking WHAT ABOUT DA MENZ???' and making issues out of outliers.

Again, if you read my post you would notice that I didn't say that there aren't problems on both sides. But as it stands right now, the machine heavily favors men in almost every issue. And the gender roles/norms that are hurtful to men are a consequence of male power and dominance. We can work to eradicate them, but lets recognize how we inform them.

Sure. One would be more accurate to argue that the 'reactionary' nature of feminism is against an institutional patriarchy that has operated to make them the second sex and keep them down.
