Sure but there is also void that you will feel with wife and kids too. Like, you can't make human happy. Whatever he does not have he will want.

Or, you know... you can not obsess over womans? I don't understand this talk like, you finish work, go home and what? Got nothing to do? Like hell, I could easly spend few lifetimes alone trying to make music, another few reading books and what about other things?

I totally understand you, but what is left for them? Desperates I think. In all honesty. Same rules apply as they always did in any other stage in love - its my life, so no compromises.

They are not the same, however its not at all bad idea to assume certain traits and only let go of these assumptions when they will be proven incorrect. I usually assume certain amount of narrcissism, zero empathy under the veil of plenty, manipulative nature and certain kind of dumbness. But yeah, I'm happy to say that is not true at all in all women. In some, it kinda goes on and off like a switch depending on if she's into you etc.

Personally I would just say that I don't give a flying fuck what 90% does. I answer for myself and myself only, as should anyone.

Yeah, sure. I suppose its already carved into majority of men psyche for some reason. Its like its in a freaking morphogenetic field.

They are also somehow masters of writing long, overly complex sentences that amount to nothing.

Like you said, its social platforms etc. Its not real. They know men are magnificent, oh they do. Its jealousy, its bitterness, its fear, its irrelevant. Go be glorious and stop thinking about it.

That's why you never even try but many men forget that once they meet "the one ®" which more often than not is more of a construct of their imagination than perfect partner. But what can you do, love doesn't concern itself with petty thing like logic.

Yup. Also, reminder, you have a penis? Congratulations, you're a men. 300.000 years of training every muscle and learning every possible skill is optional dlc

I think thinking in terms of generations is dumb in a lot of ways. One men will be weak and the other will be strong. The difference is mostly in what they went through in their life. And sitting on reddit scrolling through nonsense you already have it good, so this bubble will be likely to percieve modern men in a specific way.

Indeed there is nothing quite like being yourself and unapologetically so, there is always a point when it seems like its recipe for disaster but you stick with it and it all falls into place. And you watch people starting hating you which often might make you think about it too much, missing the fact that meanwhile other people are silently growing to be your fans. Its funny to think that your nature doesn't always comes natural but like everything else in the world, you do it long enough and e…

Its interesting to see, its like the entire area of life that you can normally fullfill by having a partner essentialy rendered obsolete. Is it terrifying? I don't think so. Its just another form of escapism. Might lead to unrealistic expectations but so does porn for example.

Nothing wrong with complaining, its also some way of dealing with negative emotions and experiences.

Well, feminism is supposed to be about equal rights right. Even if it began as fight centered on womans. So why there is just woman symbol in there? The other one truly conveys the idea of equality.

One thing that I think sort of defines masculinty is being yourself and unapologetically so. So no, it doesn't get to me that someone, somewhere might have a problem with men being men, its their problem.

Whatever you do there will be someone ready to criticise it to hell and back. So, just do what you want.

1 of 6 will be abuser and remaining 5 will be idiots lol. To be fair, that sort of hyper masculine approach can also be tiring but we definitely have the opposite today which is just as tiring.

They want all the pros and none of the cons, easy. They don't care about petty masculine things such as logic. You need to find the one that's different, that's the tricky part.

I'm just not intrested in womans by default, doesn't matter if they look good or whatever. I need to feel that she treats me like an human being and is also into me - not because of something I do for her, because of who I am. Obviously, that happens rarely but it makes things much simpler, I have nothing to prove to ~95% of womans out there and the rest of interactions is great and happens naturally. But its not a style I would recommend to someone who can't stand being alone.

I mean short meeting for coffee and some casual conversation sounds like a normal first date to me. I don't think this concept of date 0 brings anything new. Maybe its because I'm not that young anymore but I think expecting some crazy glamour just sets up people for failure. Presenting yourself in a normal everyday way is very valuable.

Quick glance at the topics and its a person who has no idea how the world works and lives in some weird ass fantasy. Its a waste of time to argue with this kind.

Not sure about that... I've seen plenty of womans in bs desk jobs and all the plumbers, electricians, etc. guys that literally build a home, if that's all not meaningful I don't know what is.
/r/MensRights04/03/26 01:38 AM

That's my point, womans that don't treat men like something they need to actively avoid will be pleasant to travel with.
/r/MensRights02/03/26 01:08 PM
14

Honestly, I would be quite happy with that. Means I'm not going to be travelling with the most unsufferable womans out there. But yeah it does suck for older folks, there is only so much modern bullshit you can expect them to handle.
/r/MensRights01/03/26 05:26 PM

Well, it is unromantic. Its also wise. To be honest, her caring about it is unromantic too.

Womens are best around 20 and really, I'm not even talking about the look. Later on they become much more pragmatic and its no suprise - clock is ticking, children need good conditions etc. This is something you have to take into the account at your age, that's not to say you cannot meet a woman that isn't like that, just chances are getting smaller.
/r/MensRights30/01/26 12:26 PM
5

Hard to say without having some actual hard data. But I do think we are living in times that would rather amplify women achievements out of fear of being accused of such bias.
/r/MensRights14/01/26 05:43 AM
8

I think its bullshit. Many of these look like a choice, like you're too fat? Bitch eat less, move more. Or maybe it's your privilege to have shitton of food huh? Yeah some people will be fat because of some condition. Spoiler: its minority. You don't know English? Bitch, learn. Or are you so privileged that all the entertainment has dubbing in your country? Mine didn't, I learned from movies and games. I downloaded them because my parents could never afford them back then.
/r/MensRights30/12/25 09:59 PM
7

I think the only question worth asking is really if porn is in the best interest of men. And that depends what men wants. If the goal is to meet a woman, create family and all that, I would say it might be something you want to avoid. If, on the other hand, you want to be done with this libido bs for a time period and focus on everything else, its great.
/r/MensRights29/12/25 01:38 PM

"Wanted attention" - goddamn they really are ovegrown childs. Funny that you use to hear that most often about men, I cannot think of a men dumb enough to say something like this. Anyway, it would be perfect to send her to a shelter or something along these lines for a while so she can do something useful and maybe gain few mirror neurons.
/r/MensRights09/12/25 12:05 AM

The only thing men should fear about women is telling them too much because gossip is their drug and keeping a secret means nothing to them.

Honestly, the fact that you even feel like it needs to be written, sentences like "men have feelings too", its somewhere between comedy and insanity. To be truly honest, aside from few friends who are woman, a girlfriend and my family, rest of womans might as well not exist to me, I just don't care about them. But years and years of seeing really dumb behavior towards men made me very negative towards them, especially the type that thinks ultra highly of themselves while frankly being incredibly…

I don't think anyone ever told me that tbh. Maybe in relation to stuff like peeing which I guess is true lol

Its like reading diary of someone with mental health issues. I look around me and the whole world has boyfriends, girlfriends. I don't neccesarly want anyone to talk about them all the time but it's... normal.
/r/MensRights31/10/25 10:55 AM

Well you can always work to change that. You're not gonna change the world over night but little things matter. Treat yourself with respect. Take no shit. Treat other men with respect. Defend them if you think they deserve it. I witnessed quite a lovely scene in the bus lately. So there was this man, bit on the older side, at least 60+ and he was standing there by the doors, you know, like a completely normal person would. Behind him was a young girl with a baby stroller and kid. She wanted to l…

I'm guessing a lot of them are sort of manufactured, someone picked them and did all the hard work to get them where they are so naturally, you would pick someone dumb and easy to control.
/r/MensRights18/10/25 07:15 AM

It's not punished because its normalised. No one expect anything less than dumb narcissm from most womans. Finding one that isn't that is usually enough for a men to be happy so why try to fix entire world right.

You don't need to be an asshole. You need balance, like with everything in life. Don't be one thing. You're not a cartoon character - you are human being. You can be asshole and you can be sweet.
/r/MensRights25/09/25 06:16 AM
10

Maybe, maybe not. Personally, I just observed stuff for years and came to my own conclusions. The behavior, methods, reasoning. Both sides sucks but if I had to pick one, I would rather go with right. Left is just too delusional.

You don't reject it, you either have it or you don't.
/r/MensRights18/09/25 08:41 AM

I don't think I need to, I know men well enough and exceptions don't matter much.
/r/MensRights12/09/25 10:34 AM
3

Its not a mathematical equation, probable or not doesn't matter. You only need to meet one person who will be right. Don't think that much about what others might think about you, that's just obstacle and an unnecessary one. You don't want girlfriend, you want to meet someone who you'll be happy with. So you can forget about what other girls think of you. Focus on having fun and enjoying yourself.
/r/MensRights12/09/25 09:08 AM

That's one thing men will never do because that's just not who they are and also, they have better things to do than bullshit like this.
/r/MensRights12/09/25 08:32 AM

Most of power womans have is given to them by men. So I would say at this point not only the men are worker bees but they are fine with it, they enjoy it.
/r/MensRights28/08/25 03:19 AM

Yup. Quite many jobs actually where you'll get out quickly without skills no matter how pretty is your smile. In these places men often shine.
/r/MensRights27/08/25 04:26 AM

When you look at it that way, sure. But, you know, people actually fall in love and all that.
/r/MensRights26/08/25 04:58 AM
2

It just happens. Like, you don't work for it, you don't do anything special. It happens. At least early on in life. Its best because almost always you are both broke so you don't care about the money and you can easly meet a lot of people organically. Later it gets more difficult but a lot of successful relationships are starting early (just from my observations)
/r/MensRights25/08/25 09:04 PM
8

Anyone operating on "xxx are all the same" is full of shit. That's just position of a bitter person that either never had the pleasure of meeting someone nice or just refuse to see the people as they are (complex, different).
/r/MensRights20/08/25 06:04 AM
2

It can be that, but it doesn't have to and in relationships often isn't.
/r/MensRights20/08/25 05:46 AM
2

You're doing precisely what I talk about - bringing it down to the bare minimum of what it is. I never felt the need of doing that and most guys I know didn't either. I would say guys who do have some problems to solve.
/r/MensRights20/08/25 05:23 AM
17

Women have the right to deny sex and men have the right to leave if their needs are not met - that's how I see it. And honestly, I think sex is often getting reduced to the bare minimum of what it actually is, insultingly so, stripped to some caricature version of it. If it was about physical act alone, well there is nothing easier for men to get that done and out of the way without woman. No, its a manifestation of love and no less complex than any desires of woman in relationship.
/r/MensRights14/08/25 05:18 AM
1

Well, none has ever swiped left on me. Because I'm not there. I feel like putting yourself there is sort of treating yourself like a product. More... traditional ways of meeting people are harder, sure. You need to find time etc. But also, you are never a button or swipe to anyone, you are much more from the very first second.
/r/MensRights10/08/25 04:24 AM
8

Eh, its whatever. You look around you in the real world and you know its quite the opposite anyway. They can't change reality with movies.
/r/MensRights08/08/25 07:38 PM

Nah, calling out their shit works much better than silence. But you can't make omelette without breaking some eggs. If you're not ready for flames and thunders, don't even start.

Honestly, if a woman wants to believe in some questionable data on an app more than she wants to get to know me, I don't want to date that woman anyway, its not the kind of person I want to hang out with. So I don't see it as a problem for dating. But it is a problem from privacy standpoint. Sex offenders are already listed publicly in many places, using data of other people without their permission is a huge violation of their privacy.
/r/MensRights25/07/25 06:03 AM

Happiness is something that comes and goes, no matter the situation and really comes from within. I would rather say relationship might add to the long term satisfaction which is a different thing really. It can make highs higher, it can definitely introduce emotional explosions that being single rarely delivers but also, it introduces whole new set of problems and lows.
/r/MensRights21/07/25 07:52 AM

/r/MensRights01/07/25 08:42 AM

Yeah, its kind of funny reading something like "mens are such cowards" or "woman would be more likely to protect me" coming from a woman. Like on quite a few other topics, on this one they often talk without an ounce of understanding just how worse of a situation it is for a men to get into a fight. And they expect it, with random strangers, for random strangers, like its your usual everyday courtesy.

In some god forsaken postapo village ala Mad Max that would probaby hold true. We ain't in a god forsaken postapo village, there are 4 bilions of womans in the world. Honestly, its either all human beings or nobody. Maybe even all living things allright. But definitely all humans.

I guess its simple at its core - either everything works for you or nothing does. So the only thing that needs fixing is you.
/r/MensRights13/06/25 04:09 AM

I'm not sure we all do it. I feel like I don't. But it took me awhile (I'm 30+). I think when you're younger its much harder to actually pull it off. But it is a simple change at its core - from how you say it being whatever worlds want you to be to be whatever you feel like being. You don't have to worry about your masculinity because there is nothing more masculine than being yourself and not ashamed of it really.

Good coffee at morning. Good hangout with friends. Good video game. Good fragrance. Good book. Good joke. Good meal. Good vacation. Good cat on the street to pet. Good time creating stuff. Arguing online with strangers about stupid shit. Everything basically.

That's certainly one thing world could give more attention to. World is a beautiful island but that island is not sinking because of the rock under it. That rock is men. And its not in best condition today.

I don't think men should be ever reduced to one thing. There are times when I feel masculine and I like it. There are times when I don't, I like it too. That said, yeah, sure, their approach is rather healthy compared to others you mentioned, just a bit one dimensional.

The problem is that nobody controls what the word feminism means. It's such a feminine approach too, isn't it? It means whatever I want it to mean at any given time. I think men should exercise similar approach more often, its fun!

It might be your behavior or specifically lack of it. Hear stupid comment? Return the favor. Be proud of who you are, talk shit. Make it automatic, point and shoot. Even if you are just tiny annoyance when someone treats you wrong, they are so much more likely to stop. Because it gets to their head too. And if you actually hit somewhere close to reality... oh, that hurts. Rich ladies are walking mountains of complexes.

I wish I could say its an outdated idea for a world long gone, but our world is extremely behind our minds. In essence some healthy dose of it is required for a men to live a good life and he shouldn't pay attention to anything media or womans in particular say about it.
/r/MensRights22/04/25 06:36 PM

In a way its actually liberating since if you don't want to care about it too much, you don't have to. No one is going to notice that you are in the same clothes again, as long as they are fresh you are good. Its convenient. But yeah, its also stupid in a way... and indeed if you think about it for a while, a lot of woman attractiveness is atrificial.

I don't think your post really added anything to the conversation, it was honestly boring as hell to read same "I am the smart" again. So I'll actually write something on topic. My entire life that's what I was thinking about votes. One obvious problem is that you have to trust the party who does the counting, we all know the famous quote about it. Mate, you do need to work and get skills, that's just life. Anyone should but can't you see the difference between 13 and 18? In most countries by 18 you are an adult. Women can find a men who is doing well enough so that she doesn't have to work but it really isn't rare to see them both working nowadays. And aside from maybe some small justice warriors groups nobody cares that you don't want to be a man, you are born one, better get used to it.

I checked one, Ada Lovelace because I was interested in this case. Some handle it better, some worse. Depends on few things really. One is experience. Like with everything, you get better at it at some point. But also a lot depends on how a woman handles her part - it can definitely be done better or worse. Its a tricky thing too, being too nice isn't really good... young womans rarely know how to do it well.
/r/MensRights26/03/25 03:27 PM

No, I've seen it as a movement strictly by womans, for womans because all I've seen and heard about was womans. Told me all I need to know about the idea of equality they have.

It kinda seems to me like just another shade of that silly idea that there is a men and MEN, that you need to do this and act like that and check 63277227 boxes to be a real man. No you don't, you have a dick, you're a men. Simple.

I'm not suprised. I mean I'm not suprised that someone wants to have it easier. But to change the whole gender... I don't know. I feel like that way you also make your life complicated so any benefits you might gain are kinda evened out by new troubles. And to be brutally honest, we can't all be sitting pretty doing makeup and trying new clothes, someone needs to do hard job.

I'll answer for myself - I'm not gonna chase some woman for months/years and give out that energy/time for her to drop me later on because of some bs. I just ain't doing it. If it all happens naturally by chance, sure but combined with work, friends and family at some point in life you really need to actively look for it and I just don't bother. It probably varies from person to person, but without adding too much philosophy, from my experience in relationship you are fine and without it you are fine. And in both cases you get used to it and it both cases it gets hard to switch it. Both also have pros and cons. Anyway, you cannot calculate it like you would buying a phone "is it worth it". If you meet the right person you won't be analysing stuff to hell and back.

Can't say I share that experience. Think you need some more men company, especially in a place when there are no womans. That will give you some solid dose of glorious toxic masculinity and foolishness.

I think good start is acting like you deserve that respect. Because a lot of men just don't. Don't take shit from any woman, go beyond that phase, if she treats you well, you treat her well and you'll find that some womans understand that perfectly fine. Others... they don't.
/r/MensRights03/09/24 10:15 PM

Well its not the same to me - I don't have to consider us equals to go with live and let live, I have no need to bring us down/up to the same level and control it artificially.

Honestly, I've been thinking about this a lot lately and even putting feminism aside, the idea of equality itself is just dumb and stupid and more dumb. It sounds good on paper. But then you try to implement it in any way and it's just trainwreck. I think even something as simple as "live and let live" is much better goal.

/r/MensRights29/04/24 10:44 AM

I wouldn't go as far as to say it hates men, it simply doesn't want anything out of men other than his hard work and its fruits. At the same time its scared of men and the energy that men bring with him, so it tries to put him down. Men can change the paradigm, build civilizations, overthrown governments. Obviously no one in power wants that and a lot of power in the current society is like money - its an illusion. It works, but only because enough people support that illusion.

Women clearly did they part by providing support to their husbands and while modern women might twist the face at the sound of that, that's how it was and it was no less important than participating in the project itself. The whole reason they build a city is that they knew people will want to be with their families, that's what made the project possible in the first place.

Unlike in my 20s, I always have something to talk about and it usually comes naturally because I simply got so much more interested in what other have to say. Its a lot of fun.

I would never use this. Idk, something about it just feels wrong. Like I'm putting out there myself like a product for everyone to browse.

Most of current ideas about equality seem like something child would come up with. Good intentions and complete lack of understanding how world actually works. Fat person will always be at risk of many health issues and considered less attractive by majority. Encouraging this condition is as stupid as belittling people for it.

You are born with a penis? You are a real man. Everything else is smoke and mirrors, fears, expectations, wishes, psychotic breakdowns, dreams, hopes, fantasies, plans and illusions of other people. You might not feel like a man but that's precisely because of all that stuff I just pointed at that in essence has very little to do with you.

One way or another its manipulating the data. Can't say I expected any better from them.

Honestly, I will never see it. I don't really mind it existing, but to me its pointless and life is short, I've got better things to watch.

My beautiful, twisted fantasy - if every man decided not to go to work, world would fall apart. No one cares too much that everyday we repair shit, move shit, deliver shit, plan shit, execute shit, sometimes literally swim in shit, while doing other shit, I guess all this shit is not that cool and fancy, but in the end this is what keeps that whole circus going.

Just being man in general is a struggle. Remind yourself all the smiles, kind words, offers of help and general pleasantness of people towards you. Now imagine most of that gone. Imagine nobody cares and nobody is really interested in you untill they spend awhile with you and actually come to like you. You won't find men bitching about it too much because they are simply used to it being the case and also, as another unspoken feature of man, you are expected to be always in a good mood, entertai…

Never. I always looked at it as something that was necessary at one point in history and today should become something else entitely, that we should be beyond fighting for particular groups and focus on all humans, no, all living beings being treated fairly, which to be fair does seem impossible in many ways but its a worthwhile ideal to pursue.

Fine, I removed my downvote then. Not like it matters, but This system is shit anyway, I miss old forums. Almost felt like a haiku.

I downvoted this. I respond with words. I don't like this post because it simplifies things so much. There are many, many people out there, both man and woman who want to be used, mistreated and dominated and nothing brings them more joy and pleasure. As long as both partners know what they are doing and are consciously agreeing to it, such feelings can be a great thing. Devil is always in the details.

I know few womans who don't use it, so yeah, its more like a personal choice. Also they look pretty good without it, but they were never using it and I suspect that's important (not only because make up fucks your skin, but also because I've never seen "better" versions of them). I suppose you might be kinda forced to wear it in certain jobs, but no one is forcing you to pick these jobs either, they will find someone happy to wear it, people do far worse things for jobs.

There is a point in life when dating older womans makes a lot of sense, especially if womans your age are mindless dolls (the stereotype is of course that womans are more mature, but I would say after school that is often far from true). So you pick carefully, you stay away from stupid ones, perhaps also the ones that you feel are way smarter than you, I know, its easy to say but you can really tell after some time spend. If you choose wisely you will have a great time and zero problems. Just...…

Usually a good aproximation is if you don't know why, its because of money and I would guess that's the case here - creators get money and so do OF itself so its in their best interest to influence the culture to their favor and they are not alone in that, plenty of websites do similar or related business. To put it in another words, I don't think its coincidence that we are getting so "free", neither it is amazing progresive mindset of civilizations, just someone somewhere is making amazing mon…

I was trying to say that a lot of humanity is solving different kind of problems. I guess when you said "I hope we don't spend entire humanity on solving this problem" you meant more that you hope it will get solved quick, right? English is not my native so I can get a bit confused sometimes ;)

Nah, plenty of people (from both genders) who would rather sink in numbers, oils, gears, equations and electrons, basically STUFF rather than people interactions.

I guess the hate thing is pretty complicated at this point, a result of long years of mistakes, misunderstandings, terrible deeds and god knows what else.

Not the person you asking, but I believe we should think of ourselfes as equal value simply because gender was never our choice, It's just fate laughing at us and so far we have been better and better in defying the fate. World throws randomness at us at every corner, but we are better than that. Other than that, we are different, that is obvious but not important. How we handle that difference is important.

They are just stupid, they do not think, zero reflection, mirror neurons, whatever you call it, its like a child who do not yet understand that if he hits someone it might result with some pain. Or they hate man. Probably were hurt by at least one. Hard to think of any other explanations, really.

In reality, they want men to be whatever they need them to be at any given moment, simple as that. Most of them anyway.

Well I don't live in America and I certainly don't feel like the source of all the problems in the world. We also don't have easy access to guns, I'm sure that helps but I think the first point is equally important.

Meh, I just see a woman after mastectomy who wanted to feel beautiful. Sure, it would be cool to read "humans arent objects" instead or womans. I guess there is a silent assumption that we don't have any issues or its just plain old "I speak for my kind and fuck everyone else", there is plenty of it everywhere in the world.

Yup, you go to job, take care of some other business and when you have that hour or two free, usually you want to do something fun, like play a game. I think this applies to both men and woman, most of us don't have that time. I would add that in a somewhat sad way men are used to be treated like shit and in time its normal for them, they know they are not these beautiful unique snowflakes, that this state is reserved for others, they don't complain, they do what they gotta do. It feels like civ…

In general, I would like to be what I feel like. I'm sure womans feel like that about themselves as well, but they usually also have a very strong idea of what man should be like - its probably more biological than anything else and it really doesn't stand too well with the modern man because we are changing with the times and seeing what was an absolute truth to our ancestors as what it really is - we are build stronger so we took the roles that require it, and we still need those, but nowhere …

Hoesntlty its just a kids view on the world, someone that has no idea how different we are and how different our needs can be, not to mention simple facts like, yeah you can have bdsm and respect in a relationship.
