I've also seen women talk about how love grew with familiarity and intimacy.

Well. People talk shit about welfare and then yawn when their governments give billions in corporate bailouts. Incongruity seems to be common enough that I am more cynical than surprised at this point. It's not like guys with negative traits draw the line at hypocrisy, double standards, lying or using people. A lot of what drives a formal LTR is pure personal utility and status, think of the Clintons.

Smart, funny, kind, engaging, brave, resilient, principled, but still has a more sensitive and vulnerable side at her core and knows it, so she only wants someone who sincerely cares about her and doesn't shipwreck herself on bad relationships. I've found a few women who came close but they were invariably damaged by assholes whom they emotionally invested in while in their teens or early 20's.

If a guy is ever pleading with a woman to be nicer, they don't know the first goddamn thing about women.

I personally would advise you not to take those judgements to heart. Getting older is a reality, but their attitudes aren't helpful, and lack greater perspective.

Nothing to do with criminals and groupies, it's juries and judges making those decisions. Don't be so ignorant.

If you're still talking about college and grad school, you're young and bright-eyed now. When you start feeling old, you'll know.

Personally I feel if you experience major formative experiences with someone, you probably share a closer bond with them. No idea why relationships should be different in these respects than friends and family. Shared history is important and you don't get to experience being young and bright-eyed twice.

Just world fallacy. There was a r/all reddit thread not too long ago looking at prison sentences for both attractive and unattractive people. You can probably guess what the data said.

At 28 women are already more focused on their careers and buying condominiums. It's not a 'bad past' but at that point you're already trying to match your respective individual lives. You're not going to grow together.

If you're good with women you can read chemistry in small interactions. So that can give you confidence to push things a little faster and further than usual, and if a woman is highly receptive, she usually judges that favorably.

Tool is also English slang for an uneducated and intentionally offensive person! What would we say in Portuguese?

So find one good woman who feels the same. Men and women don't mature at identical rates. So that can be difficult if you're an average or below-average guy, I don't think I really caught up with women my age until my mid-20's. The competition for attractive women is likewise insane -- the owners and managers of your workplaces are often cruising your peers.

Young girls as well a young boys are very trusting of their first loves because they are naive. I find that a very endearing quality. I'm jaded enough for 2 people as it is.

I didn't even have sex with a girl until I was 25! And I turned down 2 women who were into me because I wanted a GF I was crazy about and not a tawdry hookup. I was not a hedonist. That's why I don't want a woman who is, or was simply following the crowd as a conformist. Fuck the norm, I'd rather be alone!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
