I think bodycams are brilliant. Of course they're good. I'm saying they should be treated in a similar manner to the way collected evidence in an investigation is treated. But, of course there would be certain laws and regulations made for body cams that would be different from those made for other evidence. I think bodycams have been a massive boon for society and are allowing cops to get away with less mischief. The public however is not entitled to watch all bodycam footage like we've paid so…

Bruh, she killed herself. Have some goddamn compassion. She shouldn't have done what she did, but the public shaming - posting her humiliating deed to the internet for the entire world to see - was completely unnecessary. If you don't feel bad for a person who was publicly shamed and then felt so humiliated that she felt the need to kill herself, then you're the one with the problem, not the commenters who are showing compassion for this woman's unfortunate situation. The police seem to do a goo…

Everyone gets banned from there for the most minor comments. If you're active on there, you're gonna get banned eventually. Try r/TrueoffMyChest instead, that place actually allows for some decent conversation and commenting without over-policing users. The offmychest mods have been powertripping for ages.

It's kinda unintentionally hilarious though. Ngl. My advice would be to take all this in stride, dude. It's International Men's day and they found a way to make it about women, and how we should support them in everything we do, and they also subtly inserted a "f*** you" to traditional masculine presenting men. lol. I love women, and I enjoy supporting my partner with every ounce of my soul, but dang, not even one day that can just be about men and men only, men can't have just one day where all…

Just don't return her advances if you're not interested. But since you are, be accommodating with the friendly interactions you're comfortable with, and neutral with the ones you're not. She's your boss, if anyone's going to make the first move it'll have to be her (that's of course if you're still interested). Do not try anything with your by your own initiative, not being where you are there's always a strong possibility that you may be misreading the situation or she's just being overly-frien…

Dude, I hope this situation gets resolved amicably. But you just drew a giant target on yourself, and the backlash could be rough for you if she chooses to handle this in an aggressive manner. I hope it all works out for you and any negative consequences are minimal. Although the things you've stated in the email are accurate, we both know that people are prone to react quite negatively to them when they're stated. Try to maintain calm, and composure at all times as this situation is sorted out.

What this woman experienced is horrifying. Whatever her original plan was, the situation spiralled out of her control very quickly. This community does not hate women, this is a men's rights forum, not a woman bashing mob. Post this somewhere else if that's what you're looking for. Dude whatever your plan was when posting this video, you're not going to find a lot of support here for this type of thing. My heart goes out to her, she made a regrettable miscalculation and as awful as this is going…

Your first point is an absolute bullseye. I hope OP can take some solace in that. It's an unfortunate thing, but once he's got a good income, an apartment, a car, a career and solid life goals, his stock is going to skyrocket with good women. Being a young man is hard in modern society. The barriers to becoming an attractive partner are difficult to overcome.

That sub is the most extreme, most toxic, side of the dating spectrum. They are only representative of the worst side of dating. Most women are nothing like that. Please do not fall into the trap you've described in your post. You're young and still figuring this whole dating thing out, it's tough out there, especially when you're inexperienced in all of it. The majority of women just want an emotionally mature, stable life partner. Someone who loves them, supports them, and keeps them safe, and…

Wow, so I had to look this up, the story is pretty wild. Here's the first article where the firefighters tell a story that makes this dude look like a serious sex predator and they exaggerate what happened. Going by their account alone, you'd swear this guy was a menace. https://www.ny1.com/nyc/bronx/news/2021/01/29/fdny--female-emt-sexually-assaulted-at-fire-scene Then here's a follow up where the DA investigation thankfully found security footage of the event and it was nothing like the firefi…

I'm sorry, man. This is a fucked up situation. The only way forward at this point is through the appropriate legal channels. It's great you've retained an attorney. Be sure to work diligently to put together a clear history of your merit as a father, your years of taking care of her, and stick to the truth you told here: you never touched her inappropriately and all you've ever done is raise her and keep her safe. My man, step up. Get this situation clarified and resolved. What's going on here, why aren't you at that house right now? Go there and if you're denied entry, call the police. If the police are told something false by the mother, or her parents, then at least at that point you know what's going on, and you know that you need to lawyer-up. I'm sorry to put things this way, and I extend a great deal of empathy to your situation, but get off your ass and take care of your daughter. Figure out what'…

I'll be honest it feels like crap. But also in saying that, I think you've touched on something important. I have black friends and what you described is their exact experience, any time they're near a cop they get eyed suspiciously, sometimes even approached and asked questions about what they're doing or where they're going. My best friend has serious anxiety about the police. I personally can't remember the last time I spoke with a cop, nor have I ever been treated like a criminal by them. Bu…

Do not fight with her, you're not going to convince her of anything and you'll both come away from the argument with bitterness towards each other. Just walk away, let her vent to someone else, you're just being baited into painful discourse if you fight. It's fascinating how many services and outlets that purport to "help" always frame things as though they're men's fault. "Men are depressed because they don't cry.", "Men commit suicide because they don't share their feelings.", "If men don't want to pay child support then they shouldn't have sex.", it's always men's fault lol. Societal narratives about men just have to make you laugh. I'm so lucky to have women and men around me who treat me like a human being instead of as the embodiment of so…

Agreed, this is actually a funny one that the majority of feminists will never acknowledge. Men share their feelings a lot, it's just that after some time we begin to realise that women are legitamately not interested in hearing about it. I think they're mostly interested in the feelings that impact them so things like "I love you.", "That thing you said made me sad.", "I'm angry with you.", "Are you okay, did I do something wrong?" those are fine, but they aren't interested in men actually bein…

Sorry this is happening to you, mate. I would advise that you just avoid having these conversations with them. Hating a person for something beyond their control like race, gender, and in this case sex, is irrational and stupid so there's no way to actually win that argument with them. All you're going to accomplish is a bunch of yelling and hurt feelings. Just stay out of it when they bring it up, let them talk themselves tired in their own time. Society perceives men as expendable, that's all. I understand the practical perspective and its relevance in the past, these days it's a moot point. I don't want to die, I don't want to work myself to an early grave thanks to a heart attack or aneurysm, I enjoy my hobbies, my reading, the partners that come in and out of my life. I'm good, man. I understand the anger for this, based in modern understanding of what feminists call "gender inequality", but I also understand it as a practical concern. Although we're no longer hunter gatherers or a species that must fight wars to sustain its civilization, we do all still see women as more valuable than men for their ability to birth a child and raise a family. Men are stronger, more resilient in the face of war and the natural elements - they're expendable. As a man this doesn't men I want …

The title of this post is incorrect. From what I can tell based on what's available online, this appears to be a circumcision campaign being promoted by the South African department of health. Now, I don't know if the UN promotes similar campaigns, but this is not them, it's South Africa. The whole circumcision thing over there looks to have a bunch of fucked up tradition, culture and history attached to it as well. In what way was he not? What would have been a better version of the film for you? I implore you to watch the film and make up your own mind about it. That review is quite far from the truth of what the film is. The character is not a "bumbling moron", he's a man who supports his family financially and emotionally. He's a man who fucks up, but also acknowledges his fuckups and works to do better - he's human. He's a man struggling to keep himself together while the legal system screws him and his soon to be ex & her attorney screw him. He's a man doing the best he can, and the…

I've seen how deep that rabbit hole goes. Men who report women are derided and harassed further by colleagues. No thank you. She'll definitely reoffend, she'll abuse more kids, the question now is whether she'll have 1 or many victims before the police and legal system finally do their jobs. She's a hot female teacher. To be fair, although it's legal and they're allowed to do it, it's quite difficult for women to find a doctor willing to do the procedure. Many go with a recommendation from a friend or some online lists that are shared among women's groups from state to state. Maybe this woman's doctor was a special kind of jackass in her case, I'll grant you though, it is pretty hard to believe her story. Women do have a tough time finding doctors willing to tie their tubes for them. It's a real thing.

I mean right? Obviously if he's so sure he didn't rape her, then he has to show us proof that he didn't forcibly penetrate her. Even though doctors and nurses said he didn't, the police said he didn't, and prosecutors said he didn't, there's still a very strong possibility that he did do it, because as we know, all men are rapists until proven otherwise, which is rare if it ever happens. Jesus, dude. What the hell? The implicit statement in your comment is disturbing. Chill out ffs. Don't ever be glad if you suspect others are afraid, that's disgusting, unacceptable behavior.

Right. It's amazing. There was just so much to sift through that I forgot about the main accusation of the piece. Apparently MRAs are responsible for all modern day social ills.

I'm sorry you're dealing with these fears, and this must be an incredibly difficult time for you. I understand your concerns, let me tell you something though, the truth is most women are actually level-headed, even-tempered, and mellow. This might be an unpopular opinion in this sub, but it's true. With the way our current social climate is being portrayed in the media, I know that can be difficult to see at times, but I promise that regular girls are the norm, "extreme wokeness" is largely onl…

Okay, broh. You sound so strong and tough, broh, people must admire you. Boy, you must be one heck of a manly man. Standing up to pee makes it sound like you're the toughest most manliest dude ever. Well done on being so strong and standing, broh.

Okay, dude. Whatever.

Dude, you're missing out. If standing to pee and spraying periferal stream droplets all over the seat is your thing, then more power to ya, man. Sitting is awesome though. It also encourages monster farts, I'm talking 5.6 on the Richter scale, and you don't have to worry about the back of your pants having fart stench. Sitting's the way to go bro, obviously never in public bathrooms though, fuck that mess.

Sitting down to pee is definitely the way to go. There's no mess, and, the best part is, you can take surprise shits you didn't know you needed. Dudes who pee standing up, have been lied to all their lives, and must be seriously backed up.

If that was the running commentary here from the beginning, we may have had a better conversation. However, the focus that some are placing on bringing up the 15 year old boy game, and the physical limitations of women has been done in an effort to deride and humiliate them. Writing the most juvenile "let's dunk on these hoes" comments and celebrating their despite. The main argument "men make more money and are thus paid more" holds significant weight, heck it's really the chief point. Going in…

Women aren't asking to be allowed to be equal to men athletically they're asking for the same money. If these women ever draw a crowd, and if they ever generate the money the men do for their World Cup, I'd be in full support of women getting equal pay. As it stands, they don't generate as much money as the men do, in fact when one looks at the percentages being paid out based on revenue, women are actually being paid more than men (13% compared to 9%). When they ask for equal pay, they're actua…

Sure, dude. If these women ever draw a crowd, and if they ever generate the money the men do for their World Cup, I'd be in full support of women getting equal pay. As it stands, they don't generate as much money as the men do, in fact when one looks at the percentages being paid out based on revenue, women are actually being paid more than men. When they ask for equal pay, they're actually asking for less money, which is incredibly interesting (I wonder if they realize this?). If your barrier f…

This sub is close to becoming as bad as "gendercritical", "menslib", and "feminism" in some of the extreme views being upvoted and celebrated. It's still got great advocacy for men's right going on though so there is that. Is there a different sub available for measured conversations about men's rights that you're aware of?
/r/MensRights08/07/19 05:57 PM

Agreed, I'm getting similarly downvoted for my own comments on this. It's silly, and does nothing to prove the point. If the women brought in as much money as the men, then of course they should get equal pay. They don't bring in as much, so they get paid less, it's that simple. So what if their bodies are weaker? If at some point in the future they do bring in as much money, would these people then say "No, they're not as fast or as strong as men, no equal pay for women!"? It would just be stup…

Umm... so what? This isn't a conversation about female athletic prowess vs male athletic ability. We're talking about equal pay. If you want to do a hate thread about females being weaker than males, please do that somewhere else. I've seen a lot of people bring up the 15 year old boys thing, it's tiresome and so obviously driven by hate, stop it.

Get woke, go broke. Good luck with your gender discrimination, sexist.

How about they do this for all positions? Janitors, maintenance staff, gardeners, everything. Balance everywhere would be great, or is it only the high profile, high paying positions that require gender balance?

Haha! This is the funniest thing I've read in a while. She's so feminist, you guys, she's so feminist that she'll ignore logic, refuse a promotion and earn less money in her current job, because she's convinced that she's some sort of revolutionary after "consulting" her daughters. This person seems like an idiot with obvious biases. How on earth was she offered such a position at the BBC in the first place? Hilarious.

I guess she posted it as a joke, and we have to believe that her boys are well-treated, I don't think they're being abused at the very least. Man, this picture is jarring though. I know the old tried and true analogy would be "What if this was a man doing this to his daughters?", "What if a dad did this to his two girls for Father's Day?" , but it holds each time. Every single time a woman does something like this, I wish people would ask themselves that. This picture's quite upsetting, perhaps …

Women can be the biggest creeps. Don't get me started on the things mothers say about young boys bodies in the bleachers during swim meets. They're disgusting. I was the unfit, flabby, kid in high school, I spent plenty of time sitting in the bleachers - it's a real education.

This is the primary reason I don't babysit my friends or my siblings' children. I'm sorry, it's just not worth the constant nerve-wracking fear and anxiety that you'll be suspected of doing something creepy to their kids. My girlfriend usually does it whenever we're asked. I've heard a few personal accounts from people in real life and here on Reddit, of misunderstandings and children saying the wrong thing and adults losing their minds. I just don't need that level of stress in my life. It suck…

Good summary. I really do cringe whenever I hear people say, "Boys need to learn that they're allowed to cry." as an explanation to the issues that young men face, these days it seems to me most boys know that they can cry, that's not the issue. We should now be talking about how women deride men who cry, and how society as a whole treats them when they cry or show emotion. Terms like "sad boy" and "soft boy" are now being used to level negative criticism at men who deign to show tender emotions…

I agree the "boys don't cry" thing is harmful, and the general view these days is that boys should cry when they need to, and that's good. I guess we're moving into an area where feminism is taking aim at boys and men who share their emotions, and calling men's emotional candor a "burden". It's weird, man. To be told to share your feelings and then be simultaneously vilified for doing so (what a mind fuck).

So when we're stoic and rational/logical then we're emotionless robots that "need to cry", but when we share our feelings then we're "emotional gold-diggers", there's just no winning apparently. Anything we do is inherently toxic I suppose.

So ... she should go to jail right? All the male rapper illegal activity that they try to equate with Cardiac B's shenanigans often results in jail time for the men. If Cardi B is just doing what men do the "female way" then surely she should be in jail right?

Man, I hear where you're coming from, but, c'mon, there's absolutely no parity in this situation. Where's the human decency from the ex-wife and her new husband? If they're saying that even though they could take care of all the expenses for the kid themselves, but would rather split them with her minimum-wage-earning ex-husband, would rather see him on his knees scraping the money together for years of child support payments, so that it's all "equal", that's a bummer. What's fair here? Fathers …

Nah, man. It's *men. Men of color are constantly being painted as violent criminals and animals. They aren't given the same benefit of the doubt as white men. But, in saying that, all men collectively are currently being painted as toxic.
