progressive exposure, meditation, improv are all great interventions. you might look at brene brown's books as well. in general, building calm and practicing openness are the way to go. theres great books on talking to folks - listening and being genuinely interested (which is a skill) are key. if i had to share one thing thats made a difference - cardio, stretching, and meditation before im going to meet people has worked wonders.

well hey! I've been thinking a lot about this too. there was a study (don't have the cite, sorry) where subjects wrote funny captions for photos. they then rated the photo captions of the other subjects. as time went on, they got funnier! There was another study. the biggest factor that predicted humor skill was how much practice that person had making jokes. there's a scott dikkers book (he was a founding member of the onion) on how to write funny. https://www.amazon.com/How-Write-Funny-Step-St…

I wanna challenge this idea that your body is unattractive. if you're attracting women, then it's working! I think redpill would have you believe we all need to be gorillas. but didn't we just hear from a lady in the comment below? lots of diversity of attraction. not to get explicit on you, but if you look on the ladyporn subreddits, you'l for sure find posts absolutely worshipping skinny dudes. And some will feature muscle-y dudes. all part of the diversity. I'd say this: work out. feel happy.…

Hey homes! So from personal experience A. Like definitely do this. You'll feel incredible. yeah there's the confidence from being buff, but really it's the health. There's no feeling like drinking some water, post workout, mind clear, totally at peace. B) a lot of people like muscles! and some nontrivial percent of them will be good people. C) I kind of fit yr profile - I'm okay lookin, but super skinny. I started bulking up a while ago - I'm not huge, but visibly very fit. Don't be surprised if…

oh buddy. yr a youngster. you're 22, man. it's totally okay to be living with your grandparents. women will be totally ok with that. maybe when you're thirty you can worry about it, but you've got time. there are plenty of women who will not mind at all. > Doesn't matter how confident HE feels about himself. i can't tell you how untrue this is. there's a lot of variety in women, but one of the things i've found is most consistent is that they love confident men. YOU are the prize. your wallet mi…
