I really don't get the whole women cost you thousands a year thing. Every girlfriend I've ever had has cost me no more than a couple hudred a year but that's just birthdays, Christmas and occasionally paying for dinner it's always been reciprocated though.

I'd like to preface this by saying I haven't read the article yet. I would have thought men would be hit worse as many more women are I service jobs where being a humans is literally part of the job like serving, teaching, nursing. Certain jobs like that while a machine could probably do it better I don't think most children would learn as well from a robot unless it looked and sounded human.

If I had to guess I'd say she weighs about 400 lbs. To maintain that you need roughly 4000 calories a day. 4-8 year olds need about 12-1800 so on the low end she could probably feed 4 children. That's absolutely insane that anyone would eat as much as 4 people unless they are doing tons of physical activity.

Trades are great but everyone always forgets the downsides like working in shit conditions, early hearing loss, constant minor bumps/bruises, no regular work location (good or bad your choice). The world definitely needs blue collar work but it is definitely not for everyone and going back to university at 23 I hope to never have to do it again once I'm done although I do love woodworking so I'll keep that as a hobby.
