How do you know that she rejected you?, What do you know about her?

What’s holding you back from making progress in your life?

Decide that you are only going to be friends and be OK with that. Nothing wrong with having fantasies in your mind but just make sure you know the difference. Write down the qualities that you like about this person and what you are looking for in next relationship. It may change over time depending on where you are in your life.

1st date. Ask to dance if in club. 2nd date or 3rd date hand on back to guide to chair in restaurant ,holding hands when going for a walk in the park or kiss on the cheek at end of encounter if European. I guess it depends on the girl and situation though to how far things go.

What about your conversation skills do you feel is holding you back from making progress? How are you going to make progress if you feel like a lost cause?

If your bad at conversations then practice with low stakes such as your family members, coworkers or the person in the convenience store or coffee shop. “How was your day” or make an observation like “Looks like you’ve had a busy day” simple conversation openers then just carry on with mirrors and labels to have the conversation flow. To end a conversation you can say “Looks like it’s getting late” or “I’m sorry to cut this conversation short but I’ve got to get going …” or “Good luck with x or …

Unless you talk to someone in person or over the phone you’re probably not going to be able to tell if they are a robot. AI is good but not that good yet. Trigger a response by asking “How do I know that you are a real person?” Have a laugh then arrange a date.

Dating is like learning to drive without an instructor. Put yourself in social situations to increase your odds. Yes, brush your teeth, make an effort because nobody want to sleep with someone who looks like they just got out of the homeless shelter. If you want actual techniques on how to have a conversation and negotiate which is what you are doing then go and read Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss. It's not a dating book.

Ffs context is everything, if someone is busy studying don’t fucking disturb them unless they are looking for help and you are able to. If you are a student and at the same university or on same course then have at it and if there’s someone you like it’s not illegal to introduce yourself. However if someone is in a quiet area of the library they are there for a reason and it’s not to strike up a conversation with a stranger. Read the room.

I’d just ask a ton of questions and get to know a lot about them before getting into anything serious. Keep things causal and neighbourly. I’m married and fantasise about the neighbour too but that’s exactly how it’s going to stay. A fantasy in my mind. Lol

Don’t shit on your own doorstep was advice my mum gave me. Means you better be sure that you want a relationship because if it doesn’t go well then you may have to end up moving house. What the worst case scenario? At 51 years old the guy will have a ton of baggage.

I’m sorry if this is not the answer you want. Most young men are interested in woman’s body’s and sex by default because of biology, however that said you will find someone eventually who values both your intellect and attracted to you physically.

People are curious and it’s a big world with a mixture of views, religions and sexual preferences. I’m a man and I can tell you most men I know are fascinated by the female body and not any particular part.

Go to a club or bar or other social or networking event because people go to these places to be sociable, relax and have fun. You will naturally increase your odds and it won’t be creepy. Put yourself in their shoes, how would you want to be approached?

I’m sorry, you gave up on love? Seems like you are desperate to have sex and sounds like you are pretty new to this. Stick with porn, learn to love yourself first and learn to appreciate your partner. I’d not rush into anything. Take your time and slow down.

Sounds like you need to work on your existing relationship and find some other way of dealing with your sex drive.

To be honest I’d probably just be grateful that someone likes you and put it into the fantasy box. Then again what’s the harm in their number? What’s it going to cost you to ask?

I’d probably say something like, “You probably are going to think this a weird thing to say, but I noticed you looking at me and it seems like we may some kind of connection? Would it be impossible to trade numbers and possibly arrange to go on a date to get to know each other better?

Make an observation and do a cold read on situation. “Looks like a busy night”, or “Looks like you’ve had a busy day”. Basic labelling conversation openers. Above all be a gentleman, respectful and confident at all times. Once conversation starts mirror and label to build empathy and develop a connection. Go with the flow.

Disagree, I’m married and have been for 20 years. You need to work at seducing your partner every day to be able to have a great sex life and deepen your relationship.

M41, it took me a while to figure out that what my partner wanted from me was to listen. As an engineer and Man my instinct would be to try and offer a solution however I’ve learned that just by active listening, mirroring, labelling and calibrated questions she comes up with her own solutions and will sometimes ask for my help which I’m more than willing to offer. I am sometimes impatient though and need to catch myself in those moments to try and be even more empathetic. Also having the courag…

I’m sorry if this sounds harsh but it seems like you need to have a conversation with her about your values and both of your expectations for the future relationship and what you want that to look like. TBH I have no idea how a long distance relationship works or if it’s even possible because intellectual and physical intimacy is needed in my opinion to have a serious relationship. How are you going to make it work?

Sounds like you are using her as an emotional crutch and maybe she’s just tired or had a bad day herself?

Seems like it must be difficult to maintain a long distance relationship? However if you are not in proximity of the person then the relationship may not be going anywhere very fast and she may have other intentions and motivation in life that are different from you. If it’s just casual then I would not get to hung up on her and move on if it’s too much like hard work, however if your intention is to have kids, and get married etc then maybe worth putting in the effort if you genuinely believe i…

If you are just talking about you or others then she’s probably bored of the conversation. What shared interests do you have? What do you know about her? What values do you share? How do you know if there’s a future worth pursuing with her?

I can recommend other things like meditation, exercise, and talking therapy such as CBT. There are apps like Headspace and Sanvello which I think are pretty good mobile apps. Looks like you are on the road to getting help. It’s a long life and nobody has all the answers. Just keep talking and remember to take a break once in while to reflect, look back and be grateful for what you have now and what’s ahead of you.

Sounds like you may need to seek some professional counselling or therapy for this. Would it be impossible for you to find someone in your area or at the university?

I ask the question because if you don’t know what’s going on inside then you can’t move forward. Sounds like there’s a lot going on for you at the moment and it’s a confusing time. What I or anyone else says doesn’t matter because you are the only one who can decide how you feel.

What is it going to cost you if you don’t tell her?
/r/seduction14/05/22 07:14 PM

Why you feel for her is simple. The more time you spend with someone the more bonded you become to them. She’s a female and your a male and that trigger certain hormones. That’s the scientific answer as to why your feeling the way you feel. However that said what do you want to do about it?
/r/seduction14/05/22 07:03 PM

Sounds like you really like her and you get on well but your afraid of telling her how you really feel about her?
/r/seduction14/05/22 06:45 PM

It depends on how serious her relationship is with the boyfriend. Are they about to get married? Context is everything. However I wouldn’t get hung up on one girl unless you are looking to have a long term relationship, have kids and get married.

Be confident but you can’t bullshit yourself if it’s a genuine concern, I don’t believe in fake it till you make it crap. They may not actually believe that about you but if they only give a f about looks then why bother with them?

What do you feel is an appropriate way? Just say hello. If your nervous then you could say “Hi, I’m sorry to interrupt you but I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is X, I’m feeling a bit nervous but I wanted to get to know you better. Would it be ok to talk? Of course it depends on context and what personality type you are.

Just say, “It seems like your not interested in taking this any further?” With genuine curiosity in your tone or voice.

Learn the skills of mirroring and labelling which will make you come across as the most interesting person because you will be paying attention to them and people love it when they feel understood. Interesting people are interested.

Get the negative out up front. This takes a lot of courage but you will be surprised by the response. Say “I’m sorry about my appearance, I know that your thinking that I my face looks like an ant hill, you probably think that I am just plain ugly” . You may be surprised at their response. Labelling a negative diminishes it.

Sounds like you are trying to hard. Just have genuine curiosity about the person and try asking some questions such as “how was your day today?” or throw out a label such as “looks like it’s a busy night”. Mirror and label until you develop a connection.
