I don’t think drug use in moderation is a sign of being LV, but if it bothers you, then you have every right to that boundary.

I feel fortunate that I have never wanted children and don't have that kind of pressure hanging over me. Unfortunately, the other commenters here are right, there are very few genuinely HVM in the world. If raising children is a major life goal for you, I think you'd be best served to work on getting your life in a place where you could adopt or get a sperm donor and raise a child by yourself. Don't rely on men for anything.

After he finally got caught cheating, his first gift to me as a form of reconciliation was lingerie. 🤢 There’s one thing men always have and that’s the audacity.

I genuinely think a lot of men’s obsession with sex is about keeping up appearances to impress other men. They want to look like the kind of guy who has sex with hot women, and they’re so obsessed with appearing a certain way that they can’t do the sex part right.

Along with #3, add video game addiction. If the only excitement he gets in his life is shooting pixels, run away immediately.

It’s so pathetic. I had a coworker get mad at me for using the word “ostensibly”. Why can’t people better themselves instead of lashing out?

Absolutely. I will never tolerate men who are overly invested in sports. Or video games. If something happening on a TV screen that isn’t news of a horrific real life event can make you rage and scream, then you’re not allowed in my life.

Most men find most women attractive As fucking if. I’m a woman who’s been fat her entire life. At best, men don’t even consider my existence when they think about “women”. At worst, I’m harassed and abused for not being a suitable sex object.

Definitely. I'm also super suspicious of guys who are really into guns.

I hate the phrase "lose" your virginity. You're not "losing" anything, you're a complete person before you have sex and after. The only thing you can lose is self-respect when some scrote pressures you into sex you don't want to have.

Basically the same reason he does everything he does in the show. He's a terrible person who feels empowered by committing violence. And scrotes idolize him...

Pansexual here. It's not hard to find a clitoris, they're just morons. Not hard to ask a woman what she likes and fucking listen either.

Buy a man an expensive toy that he can use as an excuse to ignore me and throw temper tantrums when his game doesn't go his way? Uh...pass.

It's hilarious that the worst way men can think of to insult us is to tell us we're not desirable to them. Oh no, misogynistic pieces of shit don't want me, however shall I cope?

This aspect of society baffles me. Being married and having 2.5 kids by 25 is an achievement, me making it to 33 without harnessing myself to an idiot is "selfish".

This was a really helpful post to read. I've had sexual fantasies that involve submission (to men, specifically) for a long time, but the only time I've participated in any kinky acts was with a female partner and we would alternate taking dom and sub roles. I think my fantasies of submitting to men are tied up with my low self-esteem and desire for validation. I somehow got the idea that if a man wants to "own" and dominate me, it means he wants and loves me, which doesn't make any sense of cou…

Incels have convinced themselves that they're forever alone because of their bone structure or some bullshit instead of their abhorrent personalities. The vast majority have nothing (physically) wrong with them that some soap and a hair cut won't cure.

And like so many women trapped in bad relationships, I didn't even realize this until I got a job in a place that wasn't a seething hellhole. I just thought that's how jobs are, they all make you miserable. Now I work with an amazing (all female) team who are constantly supportive and appreciative and I actually like going to work everyday.

I don't care for cats (at least not enough to have one myself) and I still think it's a good test. The point is whether they give a shit about *people*. I may not turn into a mushy puddle of goo when I see a kitty, but I understand if someone else does and that they would be hurt to lose their kitty friend and they need my sympathy. Like...basic human interaction shit.

Reddit has very little to do with real life. That's because Reddit is full of men.

I decided a long time ago that I would never have children, but I thought until recently that I might get married. However, I did some harsh self-evaluation and I think my desires to get married stemmed from being told that women need to be desired by men to have worth. I don't want to be tied to a man-child, I just wanted to be seen as a complete person in my own right and not a failure because I'm not willing to put up with some chud for validation. I'm going to consider *very* carefully befor…

I have sympathy for them because the narrative that women have to follow those rules, that women need to put men's wants above their needs, that women are only fulfilled by marriage and children is extremely pervasive and if you were a girl raised raised with this narrative as the "truth", you need someone to open your eyes and show you that it's bullshit.

Forgiveness also doesn't mean you're going to leave yourself open to the same bullshit again. My ex did something extremely shitty and we broke up. I eventually forgave her and decided she was a person I wanted in my life, but we most certainly did *not* get back together and I would have immediately shot down the idea (and reconsidered even being friends) if she had suggested it. An important part of forgiving her was the fact that it was my decision and she left me alone until I decided I want…

There's a parallel sociolinguistic phenomenon where linguistic features that are common among young women (vocal fry, rising intonation and use of "like" are some famous ones) are considered "annoying" but men who do the same thing are not questioned. https://www.dailydot.com/unclick/vocal-fry-99-percent-invisible-womens-voices/

I'm dating a guy who likes cooking, his place is perfectly tidy and he seems to have actual emotional self-awareness. I'm wondering what the catch is.
