It sucks. Don't be alone with your thoughts. It'll drive you mad! Make sure to take care of yourself. Eat and sleep well. Keep yourself busy. Go to the gym. Go outside and walk. Go play sports. Hang out with friends / family. Get a new pet if you can. It's going to suck for a bit but it'll get better. Take this time alone to work on yourself. It's not the end of the world. For every negative, there is a positive. Think positive

The thing what I've learned from my divorce is that men think too much with logic. It's how we were programmed from our fathers or society. The reason my marriage failed is that I tried to impose my thoughts and solutions on my ex that were logical, and I would get upset if she didn't understand. Now looking back, I should have dug deeper into her thoughts to understand the emotions behind them. My way of thinking led to anger and broke down emotional safety. I admit that I didn't know how to co…

Not to me but to friends with kids. TX favors women over men especially with kids involved. I divorced amicably with no kids and no alimony. 50/50 on assets. I don't know the details of their divorces but they are all bitter about how their exes were able to get their way in the divorce even when the women were being vindictive.

Yes let her move out, but support her in doing so. Obviously, something is wrong with the marriage. Find out what is broken and use this separation as a time to work on yourself. Both of you get therapy individually, marriage counseling, or both. Why move into divorce mode when she doesn't want a divorce?

Therapy to treat the trauma is not an option? I'm getting treated with EMDR for my childhood PTSD and it's working well

You can do a FB dump of everything. Archive that dump. Make it password protected and blow away everything on FB of you and your ex

Dear me, if you don't get help with your ADHD, help with your childhood PTSD, be independent, help with communicating your feelings, have empathy for your future partner, make your partner get at least a part time job, then you will have a shit time in 2022. Regards, Future You

I had childhood ptsd and my dad's abusive behavior manifested in me with my relationship. Got tested for ADHD and it was nigh and day. Crazy non-stop thoughts almost stopped. My rage came down a ton! I was much calmer and much more aware of my surroundings and my mind. But it was too late to save my marriage. At least I sought help instead of being the same shitty me.

My ex served my ass. I got immediate help for my abuse problems. Couldn't save the marriage but it woke my ass up. Maybe it'll open her eyes.
