She’s still the mother of my kids. She cheated on me. We were both younger then. We both have grown since then. Just because shit got fucked up and she made some bad decisions doesn’t mean she’s a bad mom. I hope they maintain a great relationship with her as much as they do with me and not see her as a ‘whore’, but as a mom that cares for them as much as I do. Because she does care for them as much as I do.

My kids love me tremendously. I have a great relationship with them. I have three boys, who are all teenagers now, and a soon to be 10 year old daughter. My daughter absolutely adores me. I had them over earlier today and she would ask me for random hugs and tell me how much she loves me and what a great dad I am. Edit: They were all pretty young when this all happened and she tried to get them to not like me, but my kids are all really good kids with huge hearts and they see me for who I am.

I didn’t fight for the house. I felt the kids needed it to remain stable. I get my time with the kids, but about the house... this is where it gets real nasty. When we divorced, she was not financially stable to get the mortgage in her name. She never had to work while we were married. It took a few years until she could get the mortgage in her name, so when she could I signed a quit claim for her to take over the loan. Instead of doing so she kept the mortgage in my name and completely stopped …
