I think the idea is that since during our evolution the limiting factor for population growth was the women (compared to most animals we have a long gestation period, most of the time 1 child at a time, long period of breastfeeding etc), while men were more disposable for the good of the tribe. Of course you should have the right not to take the test. By standard I mean it should not just simply be "available" for the dad since that would create trust issues etc. but rather a default procedure after birth. But not agreeing to the paternity test should go hand in hand with legal surrender.

For equality in reproduction we need 2 things. Legal parental surrender. Women have the right to choose not to be a parent, men should have the same right. Paternity test should be standard and required for fathers name on the birth certificate. Women will always know the baby is theirs, men should have the same right. Edit: Maybe more contraceptive alternatives should have been on the list, but it is not really a rights/legal issue but a science/medical one.

We had several days dedicated to "intimate partner violence". Approximately 3-5 sentences in total saying "it can happen to men to", the rest 99.99% dedicated to female victims of male violence. I later sent an email to one of the organisers with links to studies showing that males are at least 40% of all victims. I would say, paternity test for the supposed father as part of normal procedure after birth. I highly doubt it would be very expensive if implemented as a standard screening test. While I agree with most of what is said it is still important to separate sex and gender. Brain gender seems, as stated in the video, mostly dependant on the levels of prenatal androgens and those do not follow the XX XY divide to 100%. Some XX persons will be exposed to enough androgens prenatally to develop a male brain, and vice versa.

Women is the limiting factor for reproduction, are pregnant for 9 months and before "modernisation" breastfeed for at least a couple of years. From an evolutionary perspective it is easy to see how an inborn desire to protect women would increase the species chances of survival. Patriarchy has never been about opressing women. It has always been about protecting women. Sure, overprotection is opressive, but understanding why things are a certain way is neccassary in order to affect any meaningful change. Here in Sweden they decided to promote equality and get more female police officers by reducing the strength requirement for female applicants. A good way to discriminate men and cast doubt in the public mind that the female police are just as good as the male. This sort of discrimination doesn't lead to empowerment, only to entitlement.

Many people seem to have the idea that women are allowed to hit men or smaller people are allowed to hit larger people because the other person is bigger. The point being that the bigger person is capable of defending/retaliating. However, if the bigger person does defend/retaliate they are then usually blamed/shamed for it. How is that in anyway fair or reasonable? Violent behaviour should not be tolerated just because someone is a woman or not as strong.

Comparing anti-circumcision to anti-vaccine is ridiculous. Even if some of the benefits they claim are true, the mechanisms would be totally different. Vaccines isn't causing irreversable damage to everyone being vaccinated. Vaccines mostly protect against diseases affecting young children. There is no reason you can't wait with circumcision until the boy is old enough to choose for himself.

She seems to be lying to herself and believing those lies in order to avoid facing the person she has become. The deeper she digs the harder it is to get out, and she seems to have dug pretty damn deep. She is only fighting for herself, but you are also fighting for your kid. Fighting for someone else means having to take more factors into consideration and can often more difficult, especially in the beginning, but it is much more rewarding in the long run.

I may well be wrong but the clothing argument probably stems from media coverage of arguments in court. What I originally heard from feminists was that sexy clothes does not mean consent and should not be allowed to be used as evidence in a court. Some good stuff, but unfortunately some mistakes in your statistics. For example, 91% of rape victims being women is not true if we acknowledge that being forced to penetrate is a form of rape.
