Honestly, I don't really have a solution, IRL still exists. You don't have to use OLD. Lots of people are tired of it anyway.

When you describe hippie as "open sexually", does that mean she has indicated she's open to ffm? If so I'd go direct. Tell her "look what I got today from an old gf", let her read that text message thread, be casually amused about it, laugh about the funny parts with her, then look her in the eyes and ask her what she thinks. If you're sure she's sexually open, depending on what that means, I wouldn't beat around the bush.

That's interesting, though I'm having trouble making the leap from myself, to Ali G, to a woman speaking like Ali G. But in my experience so far, being unflappable, imperturbable, and unaffected by external stimuli is a huge DHV, be it a lady's shit tests, an Ali G-like provocateur, a business deal gone bad, or just missing the train. Of course there are some times you will be affected, like the death of a friend or loved one, but as for the small stuff, it's best to just roll with it and move o…

It's definitely an apples to oranges comparison, but the resulting contrast is nevertheless enlightening, as you observe.

But he sure does denial and rationalization in a much more alpha way than anyone I've ever seen. Surprisingly he was perfectly lucid and responsive. He directly and instantly answered all her questions and challenges, without any hesitation to process, or any evasiveness. Most people that messed usually can't seem to keep up with such a rapid-fire interview. It's just too bad he's not a real creative, like an artist or musician. He should be throwing paint at a canvas with wild abandon or madly …

Yeah, putting her quibble into perspective by blowing it out of proportion, sounds worth a try.

Thanks for the recap, wasn't going to watch it, but maybe I will now. While we're on the topic, here's some more seduction lessons from the bigscreen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPJCByTd2F4

You should honestly start a blog recording all these little experiences. Eventually you could turn it into a book that shows women what guys go through trying to approach them. It could be eye opening to a lot of people, and make you some money on the side.

By all means, start with reading the seduction literature on opening and transitioning, then building attraction and comfort. An outgoing female approaching shy nerdy guys will have a challenge that is similar in some key ways to men cold-approaching women. Expect to work for it, most won't warm up to you right away, they'll keep their defenses up (or their skeptical disbelief - 'this can't be happening to me, something's out of joint, what's going on here?'). You'll need to open without coming …

Some of the techniques have some crossover effectiveness, but the underlying emotional progression is different between men and women. You're better off checking out Arden Leigh and her forum, or Mimi Tanner's more 'Rules' oriented methods, for women.

Be Cajun, not Mitch. Also, the direct approach is not always the only one. One of the best writeups of indirect approaching I've ever read was actually by a female seductress, Arden Leigh. Some of the concepts work in reverse for men too, especially the part about patience. Don't feel pinned into canned routines and direct approaches just because Mystery and other high-profile dating coaches teach that. There are more subtle, sophisticated methods of meeting and building attraction and comfort w…

Join the Air Force, go to their bootcamp. They focus their initial training and indoctrination on instilling three habits - Situational Awareness, Sense of Urgency, and Attention to Detail. For SA, they force you to master the 'thousand yard stare'. When you're in formation, your eyes are also in formation. When facing or marching forward, you direct your eyes straight ahead. When turning, your head turns while your eyes stay straight ahead. Etc. Your eyes never wander. Fail at that and you get …

The gender gap is not universal. The Ivy League schools are largely equal in gender, and some still tilt male. But at some schools, efforts to balance the numbers have been met with complaints that less-qualified men are being admitted over more-qualified women. In December, the United States Commission on Civil Rights moved to subpoena admissions data from 19 public and private colleges to look at whether they were discriminating against qualified female applicants. Lol. Welcome to white guys' …

Edit: Lots of bad advice so far. The problem women face is that they're not after just any guy, they want to seduce the Johnny Depp's of the world. But why would a guy like that, who could have (and probably has had) any woman he wants without even trying, go for seducingguys or some other non-famous non-sugarmama everygirl? Showing off her female body parts and 'proposing sex' aren't gonna cut it there, considering it's the exact same thing a million other girls have done before, and which Mr. …

Add Public Libraries to that list. Lower odds than your local hip bookstore or happening B&N, but still worth the exposure to serendipty.

Sounds like she's not the one then. One point of PUA is to get good at it so that one day you get a girl and are surprised to find the magic doesn't end and you don't want to leave her, and have the skills, experience, and social circle and experiences to keep her. But it doesn't sound like it's this one.

Isn't approaching anxiety natures way of telling you that you aren't strong enough for that girl because your life sucks? At least several erroneous assumptions underlying that interpretation. Does your life really suck or are you blowing the problems out of proportion (like we all tend to do)? Are improving your life and picking up girls mutually exclusive? Is approach anxiety really as rational as you suggest it is?

"it's so easy for people to fall in to relationships they're unhappy with. I want to be seeing several people so that when I finally meet someone special, I know I'm not confused, and I know my feelings are really for them" Has that ever backfired? I imagine some girls could interpret it as 'you're not the one, you're not special' or something along those lines.

As long as you're not like that girl in Xmen who kills people when she kisses them, it's just a problem that can be worked around, or as Sheriff described, actually turned into an advantage (most guys have to wait a few dates b/f an intimate night of cooking for a girl). Good lesson here on reframing problems, both externally and internally.

Good question, not an expert here, but I can think of several strategies off the top of my head. 1) Your girl is invested in you, not him, so use that. Get some other girls over, or roll off, leave your girl w/ him, and go talk to some other girls. Let your girl see you've got options, are comfortable leaving her w/ guy hitting on her, and hence may not be as invested in her as she is in you. If he's working her, and you're working the other girls, there's a good chance she's gonna see you as th…

That you used 'bothering' in reference to the OP's description of someone with 'good game' suggests you're not very familiar with game. Might want to read up on seduction & PUA stuff b/f offering advice. Your answer is not the solution to this one, and will only make it worse.

Depends on the situation and how you do it. Don't try to bring it up though, you'll know when it's appropriate. A bunch of people sitting around a club booth or fireplace drinking and telling funny stories about their past relationships would be the time, chatting up some girl you just met in the bar isn't. I guess what I'm trying to say is, try hard not to be be try-hard. ;) But building rapport usually means opening up and sharing personal experiences at some point, under the assumption we've …

Forget the phone number quest. Don't focus on something so narrow. Instead, focus on building genuine rapport and connection, in such a way that it's clear you don't need anyone's phone number. Have fun, get to know people, laugh, feel happy you're your own man again, share something funny or even embarrassing about yourself or your past relationship that people can relate to and laugh at (if you can laugh at it and share it appropriately, you're over it and have no hangups about it). Smile. Do …
