I’m sorry but your story is so vague then because I don’t know what’s going on here. Was she at his place to fuck your cousin after going on the date with the dude?

i love how you're getting downvoted by the people trying to cope with the fact that you don't need to be super fit and good looking to meet women lmao. that dude is living proof that knowing how to be social and make women feel safe and comfortable and make them laugh will get you loads more success with women and just being a hot rich dude.

this right here. confidence, charisma, and social ease have way more of an effect on the way a woman feels than physical attractiveness. being good looking always helps but im really not that good looking and i can still get attractive women.

In my late 50s I’m having the best time of my life, also mostly with women 20+ years younger. Also, they are picking me. brother same here. im in my 40s and im fat and balding(but working on the fat part for myself) and have had hot women in their 20s come on to me. it's crazy how when you stop giving a shit about the results of your interactions with women how interested in you they become.

i knew there'd be some dude in here trying to make it about your looks or something and love how you shut that shit down. i'm a fat balding guy in my 40s and my favorite pickup story that i've shared on here i hooked up with a hot 23 year old while i was on vacation and i didn't even hit on her. she came on to me! i won't say my game is off the charts or that i'm constantly having that kind of success but im confident and charming(other women's words, not mine) and it has worked wonders when it …

I think I understand what you’re saying and I’m not arguing you’re wrong or right. But for me the only thing that ever helped me pick women up is learning they don’t owe me anything and to stop giving a fuck about the results of any interaction with women. When I took on that mindset, my success with women skyrocketed.
/r/seduction11/07/26 08:24 PM

I actually agree with this. I found the less I tried the more success I had. All these cheesy pick up lines and fake confidence is so corny and girls see right through it. Sure sometimes it can work but I’ve picked up more women without even trying than I ever have trying to put forth this fake confidence and I’m not even that good looking. I just put forth a fun chill vibe and women like that shit.

Fair enough. And I’d clarify that I wouldn’t insist on her apologizing. I meant it more as, if anyone should apologize in this scenario it should be her.
/r/seduction11/07/26 05:37 PM

I would say don’t apologize at all. He didn’t do anything wrong. He was helping her, she got an attitude and he set a boundary. She’s the one that needs to apologize.

Stop thinking you’re not worthy. Women can pick up on that really well and it’s an instant turn off. I remember a time when I started pursuing a woman simply because another dude was pursuing her. She was turned on by that because I believed I was good enough for her and went after her. If you don’t think you’re worthy of hot women you’re NEVER gonna get hot women because they’ll believe it too.

I think this comment is your problem. If being single is misery to you then you really need to learn to be happy being single. You maybe coming off as desperate or needy and just aren’t realizing it.

Brother, if what you’re saying is true about yourself then you must be having issues building a connection with women. I’m fat, balding, and not making six figures and I’ve had attractive women come on to me to the point where they made the move to sleep with me. It’s gotta be the way you’re coming across. You’re either not as confident and funny as you think you are or you’re presenting yourself in a very needy or desperate way and just don’t know you’re doing it. Maybe you’re coming off as try…

I understand completely. I just disagree that there are beautiful women that genuinely don’t think they’re beautiful.
/r/seduction15/06/26 11:55 PM

Lots of gorgeous women don’t think they’re as attractive as people tell them they are. You’re incredibly naive to think that there aren’t beautiful women who don’t think they’re beautiful. Low self esteem can really affect the way people view themselves despite what the outside world is telling them. I’ve met PLENTY of beautiful women that didn’t think they were attractive even though they’re the most attractive woman in the room.

This is exactly it. He’d rather everyone feel sorry for him and tell him it’s not his fault than actually listen to the advice being given to him and trying to learn to change his mindset.

for the love of fucking god, what part of "WOMEN DON'T GENERALLY SHOW INTEREST OR DISINTEREST IN MEN OUTRIGHT. YOU WON'T KNOW IF THEY'RE INTERESTED IF YOU DON'T APPROACH THEM AND TALK TO THEM." are you not getting? literally the only reason you think women aren't interested in you is because they are fawning over you when you walk past them but you're too fucking stubborn to listen to people when they say MOST women won't show interest in you until you approach them. honestly, im done trying to …
/r/seduction31/05/26 03:53 PM

Bro you’re hopeless because you won’t listen. I’ve said multiple times now that women don’t always show interest right away. Why can’t you grasp that concept? But you do you. Until you start listening to the people who are successful with women, you’re always gonna be single.
/r/seduction31/05/26 02:46 PM
1

My brother in Christ. How do you know they aren’t interested if you won’t even approach them? You’re making it a self fulfilling prophecy by doing nothing then feeling sorry for yourself because you’re single. So many people here have told you how women generally don’t show interest right away. Not to mention women can not be interested initially but then develop interest as they get to know you. Seriously, go see a therapist. You have things you need to deal with before you’ll ever be successfu…
/r/seduction31/05/26 02:34 AM

Bro you just said you haven’t ever approached woman. THATS why you can’t meet women. The women that came on to me did so AFTER I started talking to them. You haven’t even done that. You clearly need to see a therapist to deal with this self hate that you seem to have. I’ll even bet you’re not unattractive. You just have some serious self esteem and self love issues that you need to work on and it’s almost definitely the reason you can’t meet women.

How many women have you approached and started talking to? Online dating is a joke if you aren’t incredibly good looking but I can promise you approaching women in person is a whole different game. I’ve said this a million times on here but I’m a fat balding guy in my 40s. I’m hardly the type of guy women fawn over. Even still I’ve dated and slept with incredibly attractive women. No, their point is that you can do everything “right” and she still may not just feel a romantic or sexual connection to you. It’s not always about what you do right or wrong. Sometimes you’re just not their type and gotta realize that’s ok.
/r/seduction18/05/26 03:59 AM

And I’m saying you’re wrong. Confidence and being able to read people and situations goes way farther than you think. You don’t have to be a professional pickup artist with top notch skills to pick up attractive women. I’m awkward as fuck. I’m not witty or anything like that. I’ll agree that a lot of guys don’t posses the skills but the reality is that those skills aren’t difficult to learn and you don’t have to be amazing at them.
/r/seduction08/05/26 10:14 PM

Bro I’ve lived it. It is that simple. I’m average at best in the looks department. You’re naive to think that a little confidence and being able to read situations isn’t all you need to be able to meet women. I’m not saying it will work every single time but that applies to literally everyone. Even the best looking guys get rejected. If you saw what I look like and saw some of the women I’ve dated and slept with you’d see how wrong you are.
/r/seduction08/05/26 10:08 PM
0

You really don’t though. Just a basic ability to read people. See a group of girls having fun and being loud and rambunctious and smiles on their face? Bring that same vibe. See girls just chilling and relaxed enjoying conversation and having drinks? Bring a chill relaxed vibe. You’re over thinking this. Learn to match their vibe and you have an in to talk to them.

Bro I’m fat and balding and I’ve picked up women who even I thought were out of my league. You don’t need to be some super good looking super charming guy to meet women with cold approaches. You just have to be able to read people decently enough to understand what kind of approach will be best for each scenario. Most scenarios I fail with a direct “I think you’re beautiful and wanted to say hi” mostly because I’m not some super hot dude. However, when I approach with a more friendly outgoing fu…

rejection stinging is ok though. you're a human looking for a connection and someone is rejecting that connection. i found when i made a game of it and kind of "trying" to get rejected, it stings a lot less and is a lot more fun and even funny. sure, if a girl is brutal about it, it can still suck. but you learn to let it go.

Do you have insurance? If so you really need to see what you can do because of that. If you have sleep apnea I’m pretty sure most insurance companies will cover a CPAP machine.
/r/seduction04/01/26 08:12 PM

Honest question… what does sleep apnea have to do with getting exercise? I have sleep apnea and I can go to the gym and lift and do cardio without issues. Whats stopping you? Again, not trying to give you a hard time. I just fail to see the association.

You care too much about what people think and fear rejection and are outcome dependent. this right here. stop worrying about the outcome of the interaction. we all get being afraid of rejection but i promise it gets so much easier the more you experience it. and you WILL experience it. it's not that big of a deal. it's almost never personal and you certainly don't wanna date someone that has no interest in you. My experience is they usually aren’t ever cruising solo but there are plenty of women in that age group that go with their friends. The last girl I slept with on a cruise was like 24 and she was by herself and was pretty damn hot.

all over the place. it's honestly a good mix but it mostly depends on where you leave from. if you leave from an american port it's gonna be mostly americans but still a good mix of other people.
/r/seduction25/11/25 02:05 AM

oh yeah, definitely. and if you're into older women, cruises are probably the best way to meet them. i've only been on norwegian cruise lines and this has been my experience on that cruise line so im not sure how other cruise lines are.
/r/seduction25/11/25 01:20 AM

As I said in another comment I’ve hooked up with women four of the six cruises I’ve been on. Cruises are great to meet women on. There may not be a ton of single girls on a cruise but they’re there and they’re usually there to party and have a good time.
/r/seduction24/11/25 10:49 PM

I’ve met and slept with women on four of the six cruises I’ve been on. There’s plenty of single women in cruises. Many times they’re with a group of friends. Sometimes they’re solo. But cruises are great for hooking up. Norwegian cruise line is the best cruise line for singles. They have single cabins that are priced at a solo rate which is lower than booking a regular cabin which is priced at double occupancy. The solo rate is about 1.5x the per person price of a regular cabin.
/r/seduction24/11/25 10:48 PM

All singles cruises are are a company separate from the cruise holding a singles event on the boat that you have to book through the third party company so it’s usually just a handful of people part of the singles cruise. edit: not sure why people are downvoting but if you can show me where i'm wrong i'd love to see it. i've been looking for an entire cruise full of singles for a while now and all i can find are third party companies that host small singles groups.

See, I’m just a super social guy when I’m out. I’ll literally talk to anyone. Guys, girls, whatever. so I think that social aspect of me just happens to attract women because I’m confident when being social and women love confident men. As far as being labeled a creep? That’s just part of the game. Sometimes women are gonna think you’re a creep no matter what, but to keep it to a minimum, I keep initial conversations friendly which tends to help them let their guard down then start to escalate b…

If you never shave and dont take care of yourself and put 0 effort in, you wont find success, that's essentially what the person you replied to is saying though. they're ugly because they don't take care of themselves because they don't love themselves and that's why women aren't attracted to them.

if only there was a way for people who didn't know how to dance well to learn to dance well. Learning something new to improvise doesn't help at all if you still don't know how to improvise you have to learn how to do the basics of something first before you can learn to improvise in that thing. you do this by taking lessons on how to do that thing. this isn't rocket science lol.
/r/seduction08/09/25 04:05 PM

You can improvise in literally any form of dancing. Maybe there aren’t specific lessons or classes that specifically teach improvisation in ballroom dancing but you absolutely can improvise in that as with any other form of dancing.
/r/seduction08/09/25 03:46 PM

/r/seduction08/09/25 03:10 PM

Not making it up. You’re just not paying attention. Regardless I’d be willing to bet that it’s not that women won’t date or fuck a fat guy. It’s that fat guys won’t approach and talk to women.
/r/seduction07/09/25 04:07 PM

Lmao no. As a fat broke balding dude I’ve dated and slept with several young fit women. I mean HIV was just one example but I’m not sure how it’s going to far. If she’s having sex with you without a condom she’s doing it with other guys too and there’s no guessing how many times those guys have done the same. I’m not saying you should be worried you have HIV but pretending like the risk isn’t there isn’t a good way to think about it

Again, you VERY CLEARLY lack confidence. Women can see a lack of confidence from light years away and you likely give off a very low confidence vibe. No/low confidence is a great way to put yourself in the friend zone. Also you sound very entitled. Women don’t owe you anything. It’s up to you to figure out what makes women tick and what you can do to make them attracted to you. It’s on you to better yourself and to make women see why you are boyfriend or fwb material. You very much need to work …

honestly, you very clearly lack confidence and i think you're letting being a virgin eat away at any confidence you do have. being a virgin doesn't define you man. you need to stop giving a shit about other people's success and just focus on yourself. you've got some work to do before you're gonna start having success with women.
/r/seduction17/01/25 07:48 AM

While there could be truth to this with some women, this isn’t typical. Women just like a man that is confident, makes them feel good, and can make them laugh.

I mean you’re not wrong but most of the women I’ve hooked up with in the past 10 or so years have been a minimum of ten years younger than me. And most of them came on to me. Not the other way around. And I’m fat and balding lol.
/r/seduction22/08/24 11:49 PM

I think you’d be surprised. I’m 42 and have hooked up with girls as young as 23.
/r/seduction22/08/24 07:27 AM

Things don’t work out with this girl and there’s all sorts of drama as a result. You could lose your job because of said drama. Believe me it happens. Don’t date coworkers.

Well for one she’s there to make money and earn a living. Not meet dudes. But the other is that she has little freedom to respond as she wishes and is essentially trapped at work. It’s not like she can just leave the situation if you’re not taking a hint or whatever. Keeping it light and flirty while you get your coffee is one thing though. Going in there for the sake of trying to pick her up is annoying and you should just leave her be.
/r/seduction23/04/24 04:52 PM

They’re talking about the guy making a big deal out of his virginity. Not whether the girl is a virgin or not.

They said the personality of a slug. The reality is that’s why most men have trouble with dating. They have trash personalities. Not saying they’re bad people or anything. Just they have personalities that women don’t like.

so fathers are more likely to produce a positive influence on a child's life resulting in more successful households, correct? so it looks to me, by that logic, that fathers are better than the mothers because the mothers are unable to provide the positive influence needed to have a successful household. Now i know you're gonna try and mention the part where you say "than it is for a single mother to fill her children’s with strong and positive male influences." and try to use that to as a gotch…

none of that is relevant. the context doesn't matter at all. what matters is she raped the OP. he didn't consent to sex. why they were together is completely irrelevant to that.

Since when is asking for the source of a claim a reason to downvote. Asking for a source doesn’t indicate disbelief. Sometimes people want the source to confirm the claim and also use it as proof when using it against someone else. That’s sad that we downvote people who don’t wanna blindly believe something and just want people to back up their claims.
/r/MensRights04/11/22 03:09 PM
6

Literally none of that is relevant. Also, way to make assumptions. She could be a deadbeat for all we know. Assuming she has little to no assets right now(which is likely considering she is young), if she filed for bankruptcy, the guy would pretty much nothing. Maybe some scraps from the few assets she likely has. Either way, my point is that suing someone doesn’t guarantee anything regardless if you win. There’s options for people to get out of paying that money.
/r/MensRights21/10/22 05:57 PM
6

Theres lots of ways for her to get out of paying that money. There’s a reason lawyers won’t take cases on a contingency where the person being sued likely can’t or wont pay.
/r/MensRights21/10/22 04:50 PM

That’s assuming the girl has any money to pay him. A winning lawsuit doesn’t guarantee a winning payout.

who said anything about forcing anyone to respect me? we're talking about people just being socially aware in a gym and giving people space. how would you like it if you were standing somewhere out in the open in a big open area and some random person came and stood right next to you? you're gonna tell me that you wouldn't at the very least be like "wtf?" /r/MensRights13/07/22 06:42 PM

no it's fucking weird when you have a multitude of machines and you pick the one right next to someone. it's the same concept as using a urinal in a bathroom. if there's multiple open urinals and you come and use the one right next to me, im gonna be annoyed and think that's fucking weird. i won't argue that there's situations similar to this that will attack a guy for no reason other than existing but this specific scenario is not a hill to die on.
/r/MensRights13/07/22 05:44 PM

the guy stopped pedaling and asked me what my problem was. this was where my opinion changed too. there clearly was an agenda with this guy and he got offended that she left. and honestly, there's really no reason to take an elliptical right next to someone if you don't have to. moving over one or two isn't gonna change your view much, if at all.
/r/MensRights13/07/22 05:39 PM

Yeah because if you just look around on the dating subs the only word they use to describe anything a guy does that isn’t the most perfect pickup line/introduction/conversation topic is automatically creepy. lmao dude you're comparing apples and oranges. those are civil matters and, while i agree the laws regarding those things are fucked up, they're nothing to the shit you'd endure when it comes to criminal matters. Good luck getting accused of rape in a world where extrajudicial justice is a thing. You're dead before you get your day in court.
/r/MensRights08/04/22 07:03 PM

What a stupid comment. We talk about the affects of false accusations of a crime and how it affects us but punishment without the legal process is a good thing? Pretty sure you wouldn't be saying that if you got falsely accused of rape or any other crime for that matter.
/r/MensRights08/04/22 06:52 PM

yeah the fact that the dude died is a pretty fucking important fact you conveniently left out. /r/MensRights04/04/22 08:17 PM

how? he punched a guy one time in the face while at knife point and was given 4 years? I agree the system isn't fair toward men but i'm not buying this story. Either your friend has a long ass criminal history or there's a fuck ton of stuff you're leaving out.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 07:09 PM

Why not just find a girl who wants to fuck for free? No judgement about seeing an escort but she’s being paid to pretend to like you. Chances are she’s just being friendly so she can get more business from you. I could be wrong but I think you’re better off finding a woman that you haven’t had a transactional relationship with who is just looking to fuck.
/r/seduction08/03/22 08:48 PM
5

Using the "like me for who I am" line is an excuse, in my opinion. Exactly. It’s an excuse to not work on themselves. Not only that but the majority of people who have that mindset are always the ones who think women should settle for them and the way they are but at the same time only go after 8’s, 9’s, and 10’s and won’t ever settle for less.
/r/seduction17/01/22 08:55 PM

yeah when you say it like that i guess i can appreciate the point better. i just felt like saying it's a terrible goal was sort of a defeatist attitude towards a better society. but im getting the point you guys are making.

listen i've said it before and i will say it again. i understand it's not a realistic idea of ridding the world of suffering, crime, etc. That doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to get rid of those things. You can make improvements to the world we live in while at the same time understanding that it's still never gonna be perfect. To me that doesn't make it a terrible idea.
/r/MensRights10/09/20 08:58 PM
1

i admittedly worded that poorly. i'm just going to end with this. it's my belief that we should always strive for a world with no suffering. i honestly don't care whether it's achievable or not. wanting to have a world free from suffering is something we can all hope for and there's nothing wrong with that. is it realistic to think we can create a world with no more suffering? no, but we can always try to improve the world we live in. That, to me, is not a terrible goal. It's an unrealistic goal…

it's not a bad goal to want to rid the world of crime. its not a bad goal to rid the world of suffering. it's not a bad goal to want to have a world that is safe for everyone all the time. just because they're not achievable without stripping rights away or implementing some sort of dystopian future doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to make it happen. Your entire comment is a straw man but let me clarify my point. I'm not talking about implementing any type of dystopian world or restricting freedoms. I'm merely saying that i think it's absurd to say it's a "terrible goal"(your exact words) to strive for a safe world where anyone can walk anywhere at any time and not fear for their lives. Not once did i even insinuate that it was achievable. I know it's not. I'd hardly call it a terrible goal to wanna get as close as we can to that(without str…
/r/MensRights10/09/20 07:49 PM

It's also a terrible goal. why on earth is striving toward a world where anyone can walk anywhere at any time and be safe a terrible goal? wtf? i guess i can kind of agree with the rest of what you said but i think it's absurd to say that it's a terrible goal to strive for a world in which people can walk through any neighborhood and be safe. Maybe you can clarify a bit by why it's a terrible goal. because that statement in and of itself is patently false in my opinion.
/r/MensRights10/09/20 04:10 PM

i agree that people should be held responsible for the consequences of their own actions, but only to an extent. Everyone should be able to freely walk anywhere at any time of the day without being harmed. If someone is walking out late at night in a shady area, it's still not their fault if they're violently attacked. They're not doing anything wrong by walking somewhere late at night. Sure, we can all agree that it's probably not a good idea, but we shouldn't ever blame someone for being harme…

I didn't mean to imply that you meant that there were few dangerous people on there so i apologize.i'll edit and reword my original comment.

it's draconian period. it's a law that gives a false sense of security and safety to the community. the reality is if an offender on the registry is gonna reoffend, they're just gonna go somewhere people won't recognize them. not only that but the vast majority of victims of sex offences know the offender. stranger danger is not what it's made out to be.
/r/MensRights27/08/18 05:58 AM

so i'm totally against the registry because i personally feel it serves only to give a false sense of safety and security. however, i'd wager that a vast majority of the people on the registry were not convicted of a crime like pissing in public. So let's not pretend there are very few dangerous people on the registry. The registry isn't full of people pissing on a tree so we shouldn't act like it is.

I could be wrong but i think you're taking it out of context. I think what they're trying to say is that the 1950's weren't as bad for women as people tend to say it was. Not that it was great for men because of them having to be the breadwinners. I may be wrong though.

No they asked if women specifically had used it as a defense and you posted links of women doing it. I may have worded my response wrong but I simply wanted to point out that the defense wasn't unique to women. I certainly wasn't trying to have any bias. I was more trying to just point out that that defense wasn't unique to women. Sorry if I came off that way.

no it isn't. they've already been sentenced. Their sentence has been handed down already. They're doing that time no matter what.

How has the result functionally changed? you are unable to see how those are two completely different scenarios? no one is adding time to anyone's sentence in the first scenario for refusal of anything. How is offering the inmates an option to get out early if they get a vasectomy the same as telling inmates if they refuse to get a vasectomy they'll have their sentence extended? One is give an opportunity to get out early. The other is being forced to do something against their will or else they…

where is there forcible sterilization going on here? No one is being forced to do anything. They're given a choice.

Men (and women) are being told "have surgery, or go to jail for a(n extra) month. That's your choice". no. that's not true at all. Don't twist this to fit your narrative. No one gets extra time for not participating. Time is taken off of their sentence for participating. There's a massive difference. If they don't participate, they serve their original sentence. If they do participate, they have 30 days taken off of their original sentence. Time isn't added to their sentence if they don't partic…

Oh come on this is a bit of a stretch here. men have done this exact same thing. People suing bars or clubs for them getting too drunk is not unique to women. Men do it too. www.oregonlive.com/pacific-northwest.../man_sues_bar_for_26_million_fo.html http://nypost.com/2017/05/08/drunk-driver-sues-the-bars-that-served-him/ http://thebullamarillo.com/texas-man-sues-bar-for-letting-him-drive-drunk/ quick edit: for the record i agree with this post about women not being held responsible for their act…

she isn't even a small claims judge either(at least in the show she isn't). She's just a mediator. The judgement she makes isn't technically judgement at all considering the people are paid for their time and the winner gets paid if they get a judgement but from the show not the defendant.

you don't need higher self esteem during approaches. You just need it in general. You've done nothing but talk negatively about yourself. Your own self image sucks. It's not your looks that make you ugly. It's how you view yourself that makes you ugly

it's not illegal in most states in the US too. only 10 of the 50 US states has an age of consent law of 18.

regardless if a girl's brother, father, or uncle approves of it, if she's 18 it's her choice and her choice only. Their opinions don't matter.

Dude your self esteem is fucking horrible. I checked your history and found some pics of you. You're fucking retarded if you think it's your looks. I'm uglier than you(to be clear, i don't think i'm inherently ugly, I just am aware that im no model) and i've dated and slept with some pretty hot girls. Granted i still suck at the relationship part but i can still get laid(not nearly as often as i'd like if i'm being completely honest though) Just from these comments, it is ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY 1…

I am interested in sports dude look up social sports leagues in your area. even go to kickball.com. they have co-ed sports leagues all over the US(assuming you're in the US) and there's TONS of girls at these things. at a minimum they usually have to be AT LEAST like 2 girls for every 3 guys. Even if a kickball.com league isn't in your area im sure there are plenty of social sports leagues around you. Seriously, i've met so many people at these things.

Dude whatever. If it was one or two grammar and spelling errors i can see that. That entire paragraph was riddled with grammar and spelling errors. i don't think there's a single sentence that doesn't have an error in it. I don't care if it's intelligence or education level. If English is their first and that's how they talk, in my eyes they're an idiot. Im guessing you were NOT invited to participate in gifted classes based on your silence on the matter. Nope I wasn't but i got straight A's in …

If you can't use proper grammar then you obviously didn't learn to properly use it very well. That translates into them clearly not easily learning such a thing. Therefore, not intelligent.

I'm not forcing anything anywhere. Outside of reddit, how often do you hear women being told they're shallow when they say they want a tall guy? Almost never. But a guy says he doesn't wanna date a fat girl and he's called shallow, an asshole, and whatever else people wanna call him? We almost never hear women being told the same thing for their preference for tall guys. Also I'm not trying to imply that all women react this way and I genuinely do apologize if that's the message I sent across. B…

Yes it IS perfectly fine but guys get shit on when they say they don't wanna date fat chicks. Yet girls can say they don't wanna date a guy for something he has no control over and it's perfectly acceptable.

How does this even get up voted? The entire premise of this sub is that looks don't matter(or at least don't matter as much as we like to think). Even with that being said, everybody's taste is different. I don't think I'm ugly but I'm not amazing looking either and I've dated and slept with some pretty hot girls. Girls that some of my guy friends were shocked were even interested in me(apparently they're out of my league). Anyway, looks really don't matter that much because every girls taste is…

Go out there and meet people when you're good and ready to. one piece of advice though. when you go out to meet people, do it to just meet new people. don't do it with the intent of finding a date. If something more comes out of meeting someone, GREAT! The thing is to keep your expectations low. Even though you say you're over the initial hurt, getting rejected probably won't help either. I could be wrong here; but that's what i would do.

Don't refuse. Take the bag and put the strap around your shoulder and pose as if you wear it better with your outfit. This is exactly what i would do in that situation. it screams confidence and will probably make her laugh.
