| -1 | Is there any explanation for why so many women say they want male vulnerability, yet so many feel disgusted at men sharing their feelings?Nah. Men do it too. I instinctively can't stand weaklings. Fathers do it to their sons. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/08/20 07:56 PM |
| 1 | Is there any explanation for why so many women say they want male vulnerability, yet so many feel disgusted at men sharing their feelings?Bingo. This has happened a million times to me, with a ton of girls. The girl who doesn't think less of you when sharing your vulnerability is the exception, but they do exist. In general though, they're much more understanding and tolerant of a guy being upset/angry/fed up than they are of pathetic behaviour. This isn't anyone's fault, it's just the way the cookie crumbles. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/08/20 12:28 PM |
| 1 | In order for mens movements to succeed. Feminists need to understand just how much misandry is coming from their camp. Thanks bud, I'm doing 1,000,000% better these days. Life is good and my future is great. I consider myself one of the lucky ones, and so I want to help the men who are left behind. Glad I found this sub. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/08/20 09:27 PM |
| 1 | In order for mens movements to succeed. Feminists need to understand just how much misandry is coming from their camp.I suppose you're right that we need both. I was bullied too as a kid (although most of the time I was oblivious to it), and I went through a period of depression in my early 20s, so I get how important it is to feel connected to others, to have people you can really trust. Now that I'm in my 30s, I am more and more sensitive to why so many men give up on life, hide/withdraw, are afraid to even hope for anything better. They're losers. They feel hopeless. And I think this feeling hits men a lot h… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/08/20 09:02 PM |

Feminists need to understand just how much misandry is coming from their camp.Food for thought: what do you think about the idea that for women, being excluded feels the most punishing, but for men, the greatest punishment is instead the feeling of being relegated to a low status? I know I'd rather not belong than be a slave or a lackey (though I suppose we accept our place according to our present self esteem; right now I can live with not being the CEO). If this is true, then excluding men from our "man club" is only a punishment if it lowers their status. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/08/20 07:20 PM |

Feminists need to understand just how much misandry is coming from their camp. What if this is a natural bias (i.e. not from culture or society) that we will never be rid of? I like being a man, I like masculinity, but I feel I'm very susceptible to viewing men in general as stronger(so more of a threat to me and my family) and women as more trustworthy and at the same time more vulnerable. And I suspect we may be wired to feel this way. I'm not sure what can be done about this. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/08/20 06:57 PM |
