This is a fascinating case. I assume you mean your identical twin, not fraternal, right? Have you and him compared your differing experiences with each other? I think your case would be a the closest comparison of the pros and cons, albeit still very subjective.

On the other hand, it is almost universally frowned on in this sub for services to be offered just for women. Most posts on /r/mensrights seem to express overt egalitarianism, and a strong interest in a non-gender-based distribution of aid and support for those who need it. Besides, if someone is in need of potentially life-saving support, I doubt anyone here would deny assistance to that person, regardless of gender.

Somewhat agree, except that crying does help. It elicits empathy, which makes people want to help you. edit for clarity: crying only helps get empathy when you are around people capable of giving it. And if it's not for the sake of whining.

I'm not a legal scholar, but it is my understanding that, federally, it cannot be a crime to record anything as long as the recording device is on you, and you're not committing any crimes by recording (privacy and peeping tom laws, etc). Recording a crime is not itself a crime. You don't have to ask for consent to record, nor do you have to make it known that you are recording (the same way it constitutionally cannot be illegal to write what you see and hear in a notebook).
