Recognize that those content creators who pitch red pill ideas are trying to you get to buy something, that's a pretty good sign that's it's snake oil

He wants to be there. Why? He feels this is reality and it's better to be bitter and not delusional rather than head in the clouds and get hurt. He needs to learn to sit with that fear and theoretical pain and realize there's A) life on the other side if he does get hurt B) realize it for what it is which is fear and move forward knowing it's not definitive. Only then can he grow past this RP stuff. He has to develop love for himself that he's not feeling weak and insecure. The hardest part is f…

As a guy I've thought a lot about platonic friendships having or being treated as "less value" by me or people I see and I think it comes back to this selfish desire to be on someone's mind and having access to their quality time/physical touch, Et cetera more than other guys. It's this belief that has been marketed as fact that only a girlfriend/partner/ wife will give you her time. Whether that be meeting up or texting. I think it comes down to guys opening themselves up to actual friendships …

Change your algorithm to get away from the same red pill content, spend less time on social media and do something that fills you up. Spend time with women ( as an actual friend) in person and grow. You'll always have thoughts in the back of your mind but you get to decide how much energy you give them. For me I don't focus on the thoughts and beliefs that make me more stressed

As a man who found himself in the red pill online space 8 years ago, there is not a path forward that doesn't involve resentment. It took a breakup, pandemic and getting my butt handed to me through work to wake me up and get me out of that mentality. This is not a replicable path. Only he is going to be able to deprogram himself. Two of the key things that clicked for me that might help is recognizing that A) These influencer guys in the RedPill community are selling products to their viewers. …

Consider that I got hooked in 2018 at 26. After a painful breakup, COVID, work craze, therapy, and finding a good friend group, I'm 33 and done with it. It sucks and the days I find myself thinking that way all I can do is laugh at myself and the thought. At best it makes me an idiot and at worst I'm isolated from other people. Trust me you've got room to change, give yourself the grace to believe in that. There's more to life than fixating on red pill stuff. Additionally you'll learn to underst…

Yes with a caveat, they have to do the hard work and unbrainwash themselves.

It takes 2 subsets of relationships and blows them out of proportion, making it valid to A) Buy their ideology B) Buy their products. It ignores a variety of healthy relationships and it manipulates men to see manipulation and abuse as game. It also twists men to prey on the most vulnerable women and isolates men into a competitive dog fight.

It can be but you have to understand what you need that "drug" for. If you're using it to fill a need, what is that need? Redpill feeds on your fear, anger, pain, and insecurities. Find ways to hop offline and sit with the uncomfortability. You'll find what it is you really want. Spend time with people and take care of your emotional needs

It's a vulnerable crowd that is desperate to do anything to fix their shortcomings, so they pay money (or time) to people they believe will be the quick fix. This is reciprocated by people who see a path to money by offering swag, classes and biased ideas. The focus is going to obsess on making money. This is where it's going to break into two camps The red pill influences who dont believe what they sell and those who do. Those who don't are preying on men to make money and manipulate people Tho…

RP will tell you not to listen to a woman, chances are there are plenty of things she had said previously that you either dismissed or didn't listen to that probably led to the moment you describe.

Youre 18, so you will have your views challenged a lot throughout your life, this wont be the first time or the last. Understand that selfimprovement in the redpill environment is like the shiny welcome sign for a group of men who have either been deeply hurt or worse but there no concern for working on that hurt it only uses that to motivate people to grind/hustle for a living, also resist human compassion. That hurt doesn't leave and can be led easily into resentment and anger towards women, m…

It doesn't matter how "true" it might seem. If Im left feeling angry, bitter and hateful then its not helping me reach my goals of living a good and joyful life

I remember the very moment, March 2018 I had come off of 3rd date with a woman I had love at first sight with. She had told me she would rather no longer date me and I felt depressed about it. Well my lovely phone must have been listening because it recommended a PUA coach and I was hooked. The problem for me is the grain of selfimprovement helped and this woman and I eventually got into a relationship for 8 months, I started taking it as "gods truth" about the world. I struggled because I wante…

Unsubscribe to your red pill channels and start watching music reactions to your favorite music. The algorithm will weed out alot of the content. You still see stuff from time to time but if you focus on improving your self esteem. You wont be as vulnerable to clicking on that stuff. At least thats how Ive moved away from it

Get to know yourself and your personal deal breakers and the qualities you hope for in yourself and your relationship. When you are connected to your emotions and goals, the hope is that youll be focused on adding people to your life that you want to grow with and not just hookup with.

Because redpill is shallow and only takes information that supports them being shitty hookups. Thats all they care about is the fact that its sex upfront. So you're either getting sex or youre weak, in that mindset. I appreciate the added counterpoint of actual fact

Because they overgeneralize Bonobos mating strategies.

Desperate maybe, fearful yes. My experience with redpill is that they prey on fears that you will infact marry the person of your dreams but they be either psycho or find you so tame that they look elsewhere for attention while you are at work. So much that if a man that has been redpilled finds a partner that is secure, loving and supports them, they will be conditioned to think its a con and that it couldnt be real. Most men Ive seen that are redpilled think women are "biologically driven" to …

Its a mix of lifecircumstance and preference. I think she called you out and doesnt see anything wrong with it is because you actively turned someone down for their body. She possibly hasnt explicitly said youre too short to a guy and has just had the normal life circumstances that brought her to those taller guys. Theres a difference between that and say a girl who shits on short people regularly. Also people who look beyond looks are after something different like emotional connection/depth/ca…

Spicy take there. At the very least I understand and agree with unfollowing all things RP. The mind cleanse is painful af but its so worth it. I recommend doing charity for the homeless or another group because its a positive action and embracing the imperfection in life/ takes your mind off of it. Allowing myself to say no to things if it wasnt bringing me joy.

If you look at yin and yang, they have a little bit of the other. Meaning that out of chaos order is built and even in order there is chaos. Adding in masculine and feminine. To me, It doesnt matter which makes up yin and which yang because we all have the capacity for order and chaos. The trick is to remain on the narrow line between the two. In terms of redpill nonsense that you have to be masculine so the woman adopts the feminine in relation is toxic when you fit people into boxes. Sure some…

I think about it this way -> that biological pull is there but we all have the opportunity to control and discipline it. The discipline can be affected by our environment, ie being in a permissive environment versus a nonpermissive one. Our imaginations play a unique role here. I.E maybe you really do feel that "subconcious sexual pull" when youre with someone that is your friend but you have the understanding there is nothing to gain from pursuing. The opposite where you think I really want mor…

Im making an assumption that redpill content for you is feeling like it is a necessity because you wont have a happy life without it. I can guarantee you that people have lived their lives without any of this and had fulfilling life outcomes. I would say focus on balancing your life. Life has this funny way of not course correcting unless you put the work in. You can continue down this path and nothing will change. Women will still look irrational to you. Alternatively you could shift your minds…

I used to struggle with the idea that a woman might have a casual fling with someone she doesnt care about but make the guy she likes wait. That is until Ive heard story after story on why they do that, men being toxic and a potential threat/stalkers and also being abandoned by partners. I think in a lot of ways some men have created the very space that they complain about.

In addition, friendships wane as we get older. I think that many men that end up without many female friends. That could be for a number of reasons, although its bound to add to this problem over time.

Agreed, I think men that think along the PUA arena and actively seek out women for sex have learned to double down on their beliefs of shit tests because their toxic behaviors attracts toxic partners. Creating their own skewed reality.

Its bitterness that life dealt whatever hand to them and they cant fold, Bluffing is worse because you have to continue to bluff for years, Being able to accept what you got/what you do through decent work and building authentic meaningful relationships this is how you beat it imo. Assuming every interaction was a shit test was toxic. Not sure if anyone here is religious but Im catholic. I was raised with a basic understanding but its sad to see many traditional minded catholics are "redpilled" …

I would say I am on the higher end of sensitivity spectrum in regards to emotions. I felt like the red pill was the difference between me having a successful relationship and being a cuck. Like it was life or death. The red pill has deeply influenced conservative catholics and it became a toxic place for me where I felt I was damned if I didnt follow it. I have a spiritual director that I have grown with over the last 10 months and has helped me detach from being so emotionally invested in an id…

I think there are 3 things that I have come to understand as Ive had to work through my own shit postbreakup into coronavirus lockdown. 1)Intellectual boundaries matter- I tend to see rp(I have been guilty of this too) people using the redpill as a holier than thou to shut down all other viewpoints. I.e. feminism, communism, and other different ideologies. There are truths that can be gleaned from each and I think we need to find ways to respect and love other people. Listening with humility and…
