2	A Very Beta Wedding That really puts it into perspective and also feeds perfectly into why spending large amounts of money (relative to your income of course) on something that does not benefit you in the long term or give you any really important experiences is rarely a good idea. 1	Monk Mode is the end game. (On Consumerism Part 2) It's not wrong by default though. Remember, this community is supposed to be mostly centered on practical advise. Yes, monk mode might be just that, practical. But it could also be the very opposite. Consumerism also brings happiness, even if only temporarely.
