I have never seen that concept used consistently. It was originally a legal concept used to argue that discrimination against black women is NOT the sum of discrimination against women and discrimination against black people. Hence the term "intersection". So, it was meant to argue that oppressions are not additive. Agree on the first part. Completely disagree on the second. As a man who lacks any sort of virility, male spaces are the worst to me. In the male spaces Ive been in (factory work, martial arts, engineering school) I always endef up left out at best, and bullied at worst. To me the "men need male spaces" narrative isn't any better.

Meh. It's less a question of "not stooping at their level" that a question of, what does the right have to offer beyond bravado exactly? We don't want a return to a traditional masculinity that basically sees us as cannon fodder. Also not all young men are rich and white.

I wonder if we’ll see South Korea levels of rise in UK right wing among men in the coming years. Though from what I have seen UK men are extremely passive about the fact that they are slowly being made second class citizens so I doubt it. You won't. The gen Z gender gap is driven by gen Z women taking a hard-turn left. Gen Z men vote like previous generations of men. In terms of absolute numbers, young men remain more liberal than older men as a whole, just like in previous generations.

I disagree because: 1) universal draft isn't in any way a necessary step before draft abolition (all countries who abolised the draft went this route). Draft abolition and universal proceed from different worldviews. UD stems from a narrow understanding of equality as "treating everyone the same" while DA stems from a deeper understanding of men's issues and also as opposition to militarization. 2) men's issues and women's issues are asymetrical. Thank you for your message but, respectfully, you're wrong. Nothing can replace romantic relationships. One can have good relations with family, friends and colleagues yet still be miserable because of inceldom. None on the therapists I saw were helpful (couldn't find a male one). Wanted to say that but you beat me to it. Till's case is about race yes, but it's not just about that. It's also about how it is ok for society to straight up kill men who are perceived to be dangerous without any actual evidence. This cannot happen to a black woman. Till's case is the logical and inevitable conclusion of the "believe all women" logic.
