OP, I have a newsflash for you--you create your own misery thinking this way, and "never showing any weakness" and "having your armor always on." Bc self-assured, grown adult women see that behavior and think "emotionally immature with a low emotional IQ". We don't want men like that. All of the women I know, and I know a lot, are with men they definitely do NOT need but simply want, including myself. I'm sorry that you feel this way, but your perspective is incredibly skewed and you're creating…

Nope. If I can't trust him with something as basic as not cheating, I shouldn't be with him. And my partner would have every right to break up with me. For starters, ANY grounds is grounds for a break up, bc no one owes anyone else a relationship. But mainly, I wouldnt blame him for not wanting to stay with someone who doesn't trust him and believes him capable of such egregious behavior.

Not being shallow and immature automatically equates to low self-esteem for you? That's sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 04:12 PM

Nah. It's not the fact that they're sleeping around that is being criticized. It's their behavior and attitude towards their sexual partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 02:23 PM

We want to be treated and approached like people, not something you might get to have sex with st some future point in time.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 04:54 PM

Nobody here is minimizing violence experienced by men. That is a strawman. Bringing UP violence against men when discussing violence against women is minimizing and demeaning. If you want to discuss violence against men, make a post about it. (By "nobody" I mean me lol, and "here" is this comment thread, btw)

Dude. Stop. The strawmaning is just too annoying.

Aahhhh, that explains A LOT Sweet cheeks, you need to realize that the way YOU view things isn't the way everyone else does. Just bc YOU find what I'm saying to be something that would make you miserable doesn't mean I'm miserable. Like I said. Please stop projecting on me. I'm not an IMAX screen.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 06:46 PM

I'm the furthest from miserable, so I'd appreciate you not projecting your twisted fantasies of suffering women on to me, thanks. Lololol. The very fact that you have no clue how the ability to laugh at yourself is a useful skill is incredibly indicative of your ignorance. Are you really young??

Women are significantly more likely to experience intimate partner violence. Women are significantly more likely to experience sexual violence. And who is it that's hurting these men, hmmm??? The vast majority of the time, it's another man. So, thank you for adding to my point that men are dangerous.

Of course, I'm holding them to a different standard lmao. Men have the entire weight of oppressive patriarchal systems behind them. Women do not. Men are MUCH more dangerous to women than women are to men. That is simply reality. Scientifically proven reality. Women have endured CENTURIES of oppression due to their gender. Men have not. So yeah. Different standards, champ. Until either I die or the system changes so that what I wrote above is no longer the case.

It should be seen as a good thing, and frankly, I do think it exists: in the minds of bitter 55 yr old men who dream of a malleable, naive 22 yr old they can manipulate & take advantage of who doesn't know any better and therefore will accept the bitter man's shitty behavior and be unaware of just how mediocre he is in bed. The way these men bitch and moan about older women having "too high of standards" is extremely elucidating.

Bc most men fetishize the women they date. IMHO. So ofc they're cool having it happen to them. Plus, men just care that someone wants to fuck them. They don't necessarily care why. While women do. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hun, you're the personification of confirmation bias, first of all. Your argument is literally "I think women feel this way so that MUST be the catalyst behind these circumstances/facts." Again. There is an extremely SMALL amount of women who are stay at home wives without having kids. That has an almost insignificant impact on the stats bc the number is so relatively low. Second, if women want men to be the breadwinner, they're not going to want to stay single any longer than necessary. Bc they…

Who gives a fuck? There is a VERY small percentage of women who are housewives without kids, hun. And people staying single has literally no effect on what I just said. These are statistical, objective facts. You talk as tho there's this epidemic of women wanting men to be the breadwinner when reality proves that to be untrue. Half of couples in Western society have the woman making as much or more than her partner. If your perspective was actually true, that percentage would be MUCH lower.

Hun. Voting independent with the way things are will accomplish nothing except potentially causing harm. Reality is reality, and you have to operate in the framework you're given if you want to be successful at creating change. You vote for the party that is more likely to get you closer to your goal, or at the very least won't backtrack from it, and you work to bring about change slowly and surely until the climate is such that voting independent would actually accomplish something of true wort…

I knowwwww!! I'm not sure where in "The world is a shitty place, yes, but you shouldn't add to the shitty. You should help when you can and contribute to building a safer society" they saw "MEN SUCK" byt apparently that's what they see. "Everyone else is doing it" quit being a reasonable response in grade school.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/24 02:29 PM

I actually believe in abolishing the draft completely, but if the draft is unavoidable, then I believe women should have to sign up, too. My brother in christ, while I do love going to the sauna and getting my nails done, bc who wouldn't amirite, those things cost money. I ain't made of cash. Unfortunately. Sigh. Your move.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/24 12:05 PM

"The world is a cold, cruel place" is a massive cop out for selfish, cowardly people who want all of the benefits of living in a society without the responsibilities of living in a society. Just bc the world is shitty, doesn't mean it's okay to add to that shitty. The world shouldn't be shitty. Good, decent people want to change that, which will never happen if people keep adding to the shitty for their own personal gain. Who hurt you, my brother in christ??

This is one HELL of a false equivalency. You also very conveniently leave out the fact that she's pregnant. Do you have any idea how shitty pregnancy is? Any clue what those hormones raging thru your body do? Clearly not. Further, the game completely changes when children become involved, and everyone knows and understands that. So asking for a paternity test of a child is NOT the same as asking to look at someone's phone. His wife is pregnant and insecure. Instead of reassuring her and showing …

This is laughable. And it's just a dressed up version of "women will test you to see if you'll give in to requests like carrying her purse at the mall, and if you do, it shows her she's more dominate so she loses interest." Which is just incredibly absurd. I also like how you speak of women as both children and some kind of different species. A species you clearly do not understand. No. It's called being an adult, and communicating. If you're worried they won't be honest with you... yeah, they might not tell the truth. That's life. Sometimes, people lie. But the emotional immaturity of others doesn't condone your own.

Please tell me how it objectively lowers value? Bc most ppl want kids--the financial strain would he just the same if there was shared DNA. This idea of men not wanting to "raise another man's kids" is so gross. Love and family isn't about biology. So, really, how has she objectively lowered her value? Y'all realize that a woman who already had kids used to be MORE valuable bc it proved her fertility? Which shows that "value" in that regard is entirely subjective.

Many of your 'studies' aren't rigorous or peer-reviewed. Further, what those studies show is that YOUNGER generations are moving away from gender discrimination, which is a good thing, but doesn't change the fact that the majority of systems are still set up to uphold patriarchal systems. The ratio on dating apps is 70%-80% men and 20-30% women... and that's not even taking into account the bots and scammers. The women you're talking about comprise a comparatively small demographic. Lol. And it continues to boggle my mind that men blame women for refusing to lower their standards, as if you're entitled to a partner that you are being unfairly denied. Many men are "pornsick". Lololol. Affirmative action is not hostile to men. It's honestly hilarious to me how quick men are to label attempts at equality as hostile oppression. It is scientifically proven that the majority of the time, companies will accept resumes from a "man" and reject the EXACT SAME RESUME if it comes from a "woman." We aren't hostile towards men--we are simply evening the scales. Again, it's funny how equality feels like oppression to those at the top of an unequal hierarchy. The reason most discus…

There IS no plausible deniability, there's just deniability. She is suggesting that rejecting them but still remaining close emotionally and such is what grants that PD. It doesn't. Bc if a woman rejects you, but you continue to believe there is a romantic possibility, that's a personal problem of yours, not the responsibility of the woman.

You don't understand context and nuance. And OP specifically states that she's talking about when a woman has already rejected the guy but keeps him around. Do you need to re-read it? If someone has told you "no, I don't want to date you", they aren't leading you on.

This is giving major bigotry and I don't like that Why not look at what true Christianity does to feminism? Bc, yes, many Christians have become more lax about things, but the fact remains that one of the core tenets of Christianity is that woman is subservient to man. Like, MAJORLY subservient. It also is extremely against pro-choice regarding women's reproduction, which laughs in the face or feminism. Why aren't we talking about that, hmm??

Dating apps are cesspools. Their entire existence is based around physical looks, so of course that is gonna skew. Sure, physical attractiveness plays a big role, absolutely. To answer your question with nothing but objective logic, the beneficial aspect of feminine traits for women is to provide those traits in return for being protected and provided for. Again, there are myriad factors that could account for that disparity you stated, including the fact that women may think they want 2 or 3 and then actually have a child and realize they do not. Or younger women could be socialized to believe they want a larger family and realize as they age that they actually personally don't want that. I would need much more data indicating that disparity is caused by external and not internal factors.

That disparity could be accounted for by things that do not equate to women being disallowed by circumstance to have as many children as she actually wants. I would need to know more about where you got your data from to address your response adequately.

You do realize that these women you're referencing have contact with MEN, right? And therefore, inarguably, men are also experiencing contact outside apps. So no. Not an explanation.

First, that's NOT what I'm referencing--I'm discussing the studies themselves, their objectives, their samples, and their methods. But, hey, let's talk about the reasons why only 30% of dating app users are women... which is a number, btw, that doesn't even account for how much of that 30% are bots/scammers. I'd LOOOOVE to hear your theories.

Why does nobody have any concept of context & nuance anymore?? Looking "creepy" and behavior that may or may not be deemed "creepy" via subjective analysis by each unique individual, are not the same. Further, looking creepy, as I said, can have NOTHING to do with physical attractiveness. It can be body language, facial expressions, just fucking VIBES. We are constantly on the look out for danger. You're simply incorrect. Dating sites like Tinder and Hinge and Bumble are literally based on looks. In real life, that is NOT the way it works. "LAFS" is a ridiculous thing to base predictions of long term romantic desire and success on. Many ppl don't experience that AT ALL. Many, many p…

Honey, you're the one claiming you can be "entitled" in your preferences. That automatically and undeniably implies that you think certain women aren't "qualified" to prefer a certain level of man. Hence, requirements by default. Lmao.

Because most men seem to become friends with women solely for the purpose of eventually obtaining sex/romance. And that's annoying AF. There's a HUGE difference between a guy who wants to be your friend and is open & honest about the fact that he finds you sexually attractive (but is okay being friends) and a guy who keeps it to himself the entire time hoping he'll eventually convince you to date him.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 04:23 PM

Bc women are the ones whose lives and health are put at risk to produce a human. They are the ones whose resources are drained for nearly a year and even longer if they breastfeed. That's why. And that is LAUGHABLE. I know so many men who DID just opt out of parenthood. "But child support," you wail. Get over it. The kid is HERE at that point. And fine, ya know what? Do you not realize how often pretty girls get hit on?? As others have said, there's no need for an experiment. /r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 08:55 PM
2

Nah, it's not irrelevant. Men are, objectively and demonstrably, much more violent than women are. Even when only comparing same sex male relationships--men kill their dates and their partners at fat higher rates than women do. Hence, Einstein, women who date men are more at risk of violence than men who date women. Oh, wait. That's my whole point, isn't it? Thanks for helping me illustrate it, my guy!
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 08:05 PM

I don't think 18 yr olds should be able to do any of the things you mentioned. They're children. Military recruiting is NOTORIOUSLY predatory. NOTORIOUSLY. /r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 07:13 PM

Except it is already declining, at least for women. On Bumble, for example, the ratio of men to women was somewhat reasonable. Now, women make up only 25% of Bumble users. And when you add in that half of that 25% is probably bots and the result is a rather bleak picture.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 12:32 AM

I don't lmao. But to engage in that shit properly, you need to have some sexual experience at bare minimum. You have heard of minimum requirements, correct? It has nothing to do with assuming experienced men would be into my "intense stuff" and everything to with the ppl who ARE into it needing to have some experience. 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 12:11 AM
-3

I mean, I'm into some intense stuff, so sexual inexperience would be a big roadblock to overcome. It wouldn't be a deal breaker, tho. I'd be very worried about their ability to be in and maintain a long term, adult relationship, tho, if they'd never been in one. I would say the same for someone who just slept around or had short term relationships. It has nothing to do with sexual experience and everything to do with knowing how to be in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 11:51 PM

Sexual attraction isn't just about physical attractiveness. If you solely concentrate on someone's looks, that is shallow. Ppl also seem to conveniently forget that looks 100% fade with time. The fact YOU are also old and wrinkled doesn't change what you've considered physically attractive all of your life. Yet many ppl continue to date in their later years. Bc it's NOT all about looks. It's the fact that out of 300 DMs I've received here on Reddit, only about FIVE approached me as tho I'm an actual human being who they would appreciate knowing even IF sex isn't a possibility. That's... not what she's saying. The societal idea of "skinny" is not born out in many women's bodies who are naturally more broad. I am a petite lady. I am the skinny ideal. I do nothing to earn that. And I have friends who are NOT petite, whose actual skeletal frame is broader and "thicker" than mine, who many men read as "fat" due to the aforementioned societal idea of skinny, who DO go to the gym 4 times a week and eat healthy. That's what she's saying.

Exactly. And when we say we "don't need" a man we mean we don't literally need to be in a relationship with a man to successfully function in life with food in our bellies and a roof over our heads. Yes, I did. Lol. Again. They have nothing to be ashamed of if they don't assault or intend to assault women. Young ppl often get upset about things they shouldn't. That's when older individuals explain to them that getting defensive about women expressing A REALITY is not an appropriate response. Simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 09:54 PM
1

No. It doesn't. Bc if you're not a man who assaults women, you have nothing to worry or be upset about. It is a fact that a woman alone with a strange man is a life or death situation for her. How is that damaging? If that hurts young boys feelings, maybe they should examine why they're mad at women for expressing their legitimate and valud fear instead of the men who have made us afraid.

The tree is meant to symbolize suicide. It is based on a false, misleading premise. Men are just more successful at suicide. Women actually still ATTEMPT suicide two times more than men. Our misery is still there, we just tend to pick methods seen as more socially acceptable and readily available for women such as pills, and therefore we get saved and/or are unsuccessful more often than men. Tsk tsk tsk. You boys do not pay attention to detail. No, trash had anal sex with me. I no longer allow this to occur. I have yet to peg a man (I don't count my first husband bc like... I just dont, anyway) but Daddy likes it when his princess takes charge sometimes, so I'll let you know when it happens if you want? But Daddy isn't trash, tho, so Idk if you want me to or not? PS: I'm really sorry that no one wants to let you put your penis in their butthole.

Nah. As an Eng. Lit major who scored a perfect score on her RC on the SATs, I think I comprehend exactly what's going on here... A pity party.

Ah, yes, the retreat packaged as taking the high road. You'd think yall would've learned newer tricks... or at least gotten more creative with them... but I shoulda known I'd be let down once again. Sigh. I played myself.

🤣 Oh, no no no. We aren't doing false equivalencies here, hun. And I'm not a Gender Studies professor. Not that you'd listen if I were. Go do your own make believe research and tell yourself whatever sad, woeful tale you want warble across the land. The power imbalance? Will never be the same. Sorry... sweetie.

Men get away with this shit EVERY single day. And it's other men dismissing and invalidating these crimes as "hot". Never have I seen a woman defend a woman raping a young boy. Lolz

It's called being hilarious as fuck, kind, smart, respectful, and considerate. Luck is no more a factor than it is in dating in general. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Because we are just as horny as y'all are, my guy. You realize "horny" just means "desiring to fuck/engage in sex acts", right?? I can be super horny, dude, but yeah, I'm not gonna be too interested in sucking the dick of a man whose pee I just had to wipe off our bathroom floor or letting a man who treats me like I'm an object not a human being bend me over and rail me. "Horny" doesn't mean "willing to fuck anything that moves and shows even half-hearted interest." 🤣🤣🤣

I'm fairly positive that it would have always been this way if women hadn't been forced into unwanted marriage by myriad means fair & foul until a few decades ago. This doesn't really say anything other than ppl used to have greater incentives to marry ppl they otherwise wouldn't want to marry.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
