But you still want the support system and stability of a relationship. Unless you find a partner open to such a lifestyle, and be accepting that she too may live the same way. A large part of why such young girls were married off back then was due to overall low life expectancy and limits to medical practice. Now that average life expectancy is 50-70 instead of 30 if lucky or ripe old age of death by childbirth at 15...we're seeing how predatory and morally wrong those old practices are.
