Why do you consider it bad that there are more men in those places?

Sounds like a lovely open minded community.

I've had horrible feminazi experiences there. I guess it fluctuates.

No worries, I figured there was some kind of confusion.

But how many victims are gonna stick around to get to the end after reading the hotline is for male abusers at the top?

The problem is anyone who came to the site for help would have x'd out before getting to that point, due to the initial description.

Which is good, because new people join the sub.

Pretend for a moment that you're a male victim of domestic violence looking for help. You come to this page and feel relieved seeing there's a hotline for men. Still pretending you're that guy, start reading the description of the hotline for men. See the problem?

When I was little everyone called it Take Your Daughter To Work Day and now I only hear Take Your Child To Work Day. I've always liked how it seemed to adjust itself with the times, but maybe it's just a regional thing? I've been in the north east US. Do you still hear the daughter version?

Yikes. This is an excellent screenshot of a clear and blatant example of what's wrong. Save this photo to use as an example if you're ever speaking to someone who's been brainwashed but has potential to see the truth. It doesn't get much clearer than this. I'm saving it to my phone. Thank you for posting.

"The researchers draw a fairly frightening conclusion from the research findings." Nope. Even if their findings were legitimate, there is nothing frightening about any of the information they presented. EDIT: thought about it for another minute and WOW the word "frightening" there is really really bad.

Try Target if you haven't yet. The girls department will most definitely have over-the-top egotistical slogans but they do have some good ones for boys too. I saw a graphic tee with a brain on it and "power" written under, "I am invincible", something about blazing your own trail I think, a few more I can't remember

That whole website is eye opening.

Try to focus on the freedom aspect of not being in the relationship anymore. You can go where you want and do what you want without having to justify it to someone else. Were there innocent things you did that she didn't like? Was there any unhealthy food she'd complain about you eating? A TV show you liked but she hated having on? Did she hate having the windows down in the car so you'd leave them rolled up? Go treat yourself to whatever those things are.

People who commit crimes aren't going around stealing food so they can eat. Stop watching Aladdin. (Just kidding keep watching it Aladdin is awesome.)

Thank you for that link. Going to register as soon as my phone stops being stupid.

You are correct. And it's gross.

Ugh. If I had the time I'd make a website devoted strictly to clickbait headlines and pointing out how unbelievably fucked up they are. Having an article contradict its own headline should never be ok and it's become ok. Headline: "BOB WEARS A RED SHIRT" 2nd paragraph: "Though he didn't wear the red shirt, he--" etc

Wow. Not even for something you specifically said - just participating in general? Fucking insane

At the rate we're going, in 3 years everything ever said will be viewed as sexist hateful speech. In 5 years it will be all sounds that could potentially come out of a human mouth, including sneezing and coughing.

I thought the same thing but read the whole article. It's different. And creepy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
