There's a difference between both investing huge amounts and one investing considerably more. Even if they are somewhat equal hours there should be 0 potential for take over as Jeff has lead the company the entire time. It would be one thing if she was acting CEO while Jeff did nothing (then absolutely I get it), another for her to just work in the company while he runs it (even if she was relatively high up).
