Intersectionality is THEORY. The problem with theory is that REAL LIFE tends to disagree with it! If you want to defeat the ideas of intersectionality, or any other weird academic claims; put them to test in real life.

Exactly! After being insulted so often, the insults become background noise. Then men will (and many already have) begin acting in their own best interests regardless of the noise. The “honor code” or chivalry, or “gentleman” code is going to become meaningless; especially with all the female to male violence that many women feel entitled to. Men are going to have a breaking point and all restraints to save the damsel in distress will be gone. Right now, a woman can make a man feel ashamed; but,…

“Misogynist” is quickly becoming almost a badge of honor. Not quite; but, getting there.

Ok, let me help you out. Intersectionality is bullshit. ALL of it. Judging someone by their race is racism and judging someone by their sex is sexism. …EVEN IF THE PERSON IS WHITE AND/OR MALE. When someone starts blowing around “systemic,” “marginalized,” “social justice,” and all the other bullshit jargon that’s currently floating around in academic circles; they’re speaking THEORY. I have a masters degree, I was in the academic bubble at one time myself; but, I learned quickly after I graduate…

If she consented to drinking too much alcohol, she consented to her actions. If she murdered someone while drunk; she’d be tried the same as a sober person!

Unfortunately, the world of “should” is a hypothetical world. In the real world, shit happens. The question is how do you respond when a woman hits you?

“…pop that bubble…” Exactly! A man should never want to traumatize a woman. He should just make her respect him. Don’t put her in a hospital; but do make her regret hitting you!

Why should a man allow a woman to beat him into the hospital? He should put a stop to it before it gets that far.

I live in the USA. The government will not stop me from setting boundaries, which can include pre-nups and walking away. The power that women have is enforced by men. If all men decided to stop enforcing their power, they would have NONE. Men ALLOW women to have power over them.

Men HAVE power. If women have power, it’s because we gave it to them. If we show them we have physical power over them, they call 911 so a police MAN will rescue them. Their power is enforced by men. The reason why a woman had power over you (as an individual) is because you LET her have that power. Teach your sons to get pre-nups and to be willing to lose their relationships. Teach them to lay down the law UP FRONT. If you get another relationship, do the same.

I’m using “theory” in a general sense, not in a specific scientific sense. I am using it as a contrast to “practice.”

This phenomenon is multifaceted and nuanced. There are many things true at once: 1. It is not fair that men are stereotyped as abusers and women as nurturers. 2. Women who have sex with underaged boys should be punished equally as men who have sex with underaged girls 3. Sex is fun and there are boys who experience statutory rape who will cherish the memory of their sex with the older woman, rather than experience trauma 4. Some boys WILL experience trauma as a result of statutory rape 5. 3 and …

Feminism is theory. Theory doesn’t hold up to real world practicality. When a feminist meets reality, things change!

If a husband approaches his wife in the kitchen, stands behind her and begins to gently massage her breasts; this scenario is the beginning of a beautiful marital memory—maybe even a conception story. If a random stranger approaches a woman in public and begins massaging her breasts, he will go to jail. In the marriage, consent is implied. With a stranger, it is not. The husband doesn’t need to ask permission; the stranger does. Now, in the kitchen, if the wife says, “Baby, I’m not feeling well …

“What? You do realize there is a such thing as martial rape, right?” Unfortunately our legal system went that route. Before the 1970s, it wasn’t a concept. “Regardless of your gender or dynamic, sex should be something you WANT every time it occurs.” Why would anyone get married who didn’t WANT to have sex? Marriage is a declaration that you WANT to have sex with this one person. Why would anyone lead someone on and make them THINK they want to have sex, get married and then say, “I’m sorry. NO!…

“Marriage SHOULD…” “Should” is hypothetical. We don’t live in a hypothetical world, we live in a real world. The reality is that sex is the difference between a roommate and a spouse. If no sex is involved, that person is not different from a random friend. Intimacy does not equal PIV? True. Children are intimate with their parents. Women are intimate with their girlfriends. If a marriage doesn’t have PIV to distinguish it from parental love or close friendships, then it’s not special, nor is it…

That is a very good perspective. I don’t expect to see you and your husband anywhere near a divorce court. You have your head on straight!

Someone who has to be pressured or coerced in order to give their spouse sex doesn’t love their spouse. Someone who loves their spouse will give them sex freely whenever they want it. If you don’t WANT to give your spouse sex, you don’t love them. It’s really simple.

“Are you saying that marriage means automatic consent 100% of the time?” Yes, absolutely. “If a spouse says no to sex, are you suggesting the other person is entitled to ignore that because they’re married?” No, that is not what I am saying. Sex should never be taken by violence. “That’s not how consent works.” If in a marriage, consent is required for sexual encounters, rather than implied; then the marriage has a faulty foundation. Sex is a privilege, not an obligation. Once the language of co…

“Obligated”??? “Giving up her body”??? You should NEVER be in a relationship. Sex is a privilege for both partners. If you see sex as an obligation, then you are missing the point altogether. Sex is intimacy, not obligation. If it is not a joy and a thrill then don’t marry!

My post is attacking the very idea of “owing” sex. Sex is not something that spouses “owe,” it is a privilege that spouses enjoy. Sex is the distinction between marriage and a roommate arrangement. If sex is not a privilege that both partners enjoy, then the very foundation of the marriage is flawed. Such a marriage is not based on love; but, is a transaction which is what prostitution is.

I am saying the same thing you are saying about sex being transactional in the OP. That is exactly what I was expressing in the OP. Transactional sex is basically prostitution. We totally agree there. Your husband (or future husband) is fortunate to have you! The concept of consent for sex in marriage is a modern idea that is problematic. Of course I am not suggesting that a man take sex from his wife by violence. The marriage license is a one-time legal consent form for sex through out the marr…

That is called a foundationally flawed marriage. If sex is “pay for upkeep,” then that marriage is not based on love. Sex is not labor, it is a privilege. Sex is an intimate bond. Marriage without sex is a roommate arrangement. A woman who feels that sex is some kind of payment should not get married, she should get therapy.

A partner and a spouse are two different things. A spouse actually has a consent document on file with the court. If consent is required for EVERY encounter; then there’s no distinction between marriage and prostitution.

It’s not about what HE says, it’s about what SHE says. Sex that is allowed only as a quid pro quo exchange is by definition prostitution.

A regular, state issued marriage license is nothing more than glorified shacking up. If you don’t do a pre-nup or a covenant marriage, she is your girlfriend, not your wife.

I think the solution is to stop whining altogether. I was abused in a marriage. I was not a victim, I was a coward. We are the stronger sex, and we don’t have to tolerate abuse. The reason we tolerate abuse is because we are afraid of what others will think of us if we stand up for ourselves. Let them call you a misogynist or whatever insult they want to throw at you, then double down! We men need to man up!

Here are a couple of other things you are supposed to want in a woman: 1) you should find fat women attractive 2) you shouldn’t care whether your “woman” has a penis or not
