Very insightful stuff. You made it easy to see how we got to this point. Makes me think that we don’t look far enough into the past to solve problems that have already been solved before

SMV is an excellent metric to predict women behavior. This is something I knew to be true, but have never seen in words. Saw this coming from a mile away with my last LTR, but couldn't explain why it is I saw it ending. Increase in SMV allows for simpler, justified branch swinging

The question then becomes: why do companies need to associate with a particular political stance at all? Is the hope that a stunt like this will spike sales in liberal demographics in order to compensate for the loss in conservative demographics, and that this will net the company profit? The portion on love and the resentment it creates reminded me of a lecture by one of the great minds of our time, Alan Watts. https://youtu.be/n7CXhRdo5Ss "None of us, in our heart of hearts, respect love which is not freely given." i.e. Transactional love, buying your partner out in hopes of manufacturing attraction. This creates resentment both on the giver and the receiver's end, as the receiver knows this is happening and doesn't respect it, and the giver still expects the lo…

Somewhere in the middle of mysterious/stoic and energized/entertaining is where you need to put yourself. I've always found this to be my biggest struggle when I'm first getting to know a girl; first impressions are everything. It's tough personifying cool, calm, and collectedness without seeming boring

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
