Is it pointless to argue with women about male dating struggles? Is it pointless to argue with women? Is it pointless to argue? Yes. You're supposed to have better shit to do. Focus on your mission. If you don't have one, finding one is the mission.

Go momma go, you're on the right path, stay on it while investing in yourself - keep writing, pursue every interest as much as you can, maintain your individual identity, but also relish where you're at. Good stuff...

Go get your needs met momma.

"my emotional needs haven't been met" So tell him. "But I did tell him." Well he clearly hasn't received it, so you can either assign blame to him for not receiving what you're communicating (bad), or you can continue trying to communicate your needs until they're met (good). Seriously, if I tell someone to do something and they don't do it, I can't control them, but I can control me. Take responsibility for the things you can, specifically responsibility for him RECEIVING THE MESSAGE. Men are d…

I'd say it's sus. Desire to have kids is great, there's generally a low bar or filter that keeps the most undesirable from doing so: Think about all the ugly, broken people in the world that have successfully found a mate and produced offspring - and you can't do that much?

"You are right but so many men here think grown adult women think like teenagers/college aged women who are after chad which tells me they don't really know how mature women behave." Bwahahahahahahahahahaha. "Am I out of touch? No, it is the men who are wrong..."

Why are you trying to avoid them? They serve a purpose and raise your value when you pass them. Stop being such a puss.

Google “sexual market value graph”. It’s generally accurate IMHO.

Get after it momma, you can do this. Clean up what you consume, from your food and drink to your digital consumption. Go through your fridge & patnry and throw away everything that's "unhealthy". Start with soda and processed food. Start eating a shit-ton of protein. Tuna packets, chicken breast, that kind of stuff. Eat as much as you can stand and know that every bite of protein is a bite of poison you didn't eat. It takes WORK to stay big, stop working so hard at it. Start getting active. Ther…

4 agreements: Do your best Don't take anything personally Don't make assumptions Be impeccable with your word If you can each do that, your satisfaction will be absolutely maximized. It's also, free, easy, and you can start RFN.

Time and energy is a zero sum game. Investing in one will mean investing less in the other. How much and whether it's enough to move the needle is anyone's guess, but saying it won't have an effect seems wrong to me. I could be wrong though. While intelligence is up there in the hierarchy of attributes desired by high-value men, splitting hairs between a bachelors and a masters will get lost in the noise. Many other factors ahead of that before (if ever) it becomes an issue. Specifically - you'r…

Ahhhh, because only qualified medical professionals can tell you why you're fat... got it. This entire discussion makes way more sense now.

I don't know if you're aware of this, but you're arguing against something nobody has said. No one here said "skip school, you'll be guaranteed a husband & baby". But also, a family and a masters degree affect the probability of getting the other. Not zero sum, necessarily, but a level of time, energy, and commitment that will absolutely come at the expense of the other.

It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to say "you're fat because you eat more than you sweat". Blaming the kids is just the easy path.

It's a thing, there's a wiki page for it. An example might be when someone who may or may not be embittered against men enough to say things like 'Please , I need someone to write a complete article about how the male cockroach species is superior to human males.' tell a younger lady with options to forego prioritizing finding a mate and creating a family in favor of... checks notes... better post-grad employment opportunities. Not trying to be *too* snarky, but $50/hr jobs aren't worth reducing…

Wow, way to completely sidestep the responsibility for putting on weight. YOU did that, not your kids. YOU put them on, YOU take them off. Or don't. But don't act for a second like that's anyone else's fault or responsibility but yours.

The next 3 years of your life will be among the most impactful, your intuition is absolutely on point, and I think you're best off listening to it. That's not to say DON'T go for your masters, but you're prioritizing the right things and one will likely reduce the likelihood of the other. The world needs more people like you than highly educated cat ladies who gave up their best years on the altar of corporate ladders.

"Everything is about sex, except sex. Sex is about power." It's a characteristic that demonstrates sexual & genetic fitness. All things being equal, being taller is better. Live longer, make more money, less instances of mental health issues, etc etc.

The trick is the "right" amount of vulnerability. Too much and you're weak. Too little and you're inaccessible. You have to find the right balance.

Start off by divorcing yourself of the idea that your opinions are facts, and it'll make understanding things much easier.

You're making assumptions and taking it personally. Silly little girl did a silly little girl thing, and you're responding like an angry child. Also, your girlfriend lives with another dude, that she works with? Do we need to tell you how this is likely to work out? Recondition your expectations. Enjoy it for what it is and move forward accordingly.

What if I told you... Patrice O'neal didn't have original thoughts either, and that in fact practically nothing is original. "If I have seen further, it is because I stood on the shoulders of giants."

The first step is to recognize when you’re entering into one of those moments. The second is to detach at that moment and look around, consider the outcome you’d like to achieve, and take reasonable steps to reach it. But it all starts with the realization that you’re mind and body is responding to that sensation.

So upon learning of this bias, why wouldn't the market rush to take advantage of this phenomena before the competition? I would think that hiring managers would gleefully capitalize on this.

But wouldn't there be some company to see this as an opportunity to cut costs by essentially "purchasing" the same product (people's time) at a discount? Amazon, Google, McDonald's - whoever. And that didn't answer my underlying question: isn't it essentially saying that capitalism isn't *that* ruthless? Either corporate interests are leaving money on the table, or the premise is false. Is there a third alternative I'm not considering?

If this was true, then wouldn't the incentives to hire only women be overwhelming? It seems that to argue otherwise is to argue that capitalism isn't *that* ruthless.
